Pesto Chicken ---my favorite!
Dave A.

We just love Salata for the healthy choices and variety of toppings! The tables could be a bit cleaner. Some of the booths need major repair. But the service is always nice.

This has become my favorite healthy spot around Halcyon! The salads are nice and big and give you plenty of healthy, fresh fruits and vegetables that make an amazing meal when you pair with grilled chicken! The app makes it easy to save what you got last time to speed things up on subsequent visits, plus it allows for reward points! The staff are friendly and always act professionally (which can be hard to find with younger kids these days). Great service and a nice clean restaurant keep me coming back! The chicken tortilla soup was pretty good too! Had a nice kick

This Salata is located inside Halcyon Forsyth. Easy to get to and close to the parking the garage. I am a huge fan of Salata. I'm really excited there's one closer to me now. I've been to several Salatas and I appreciate how consistent they are. The ingredients are fresh and the dressings are tasty. I've been to this location twice now and it's no exception. My go to is a regular salad $9 with salmon +$4. I load it up with a kale, spinach and arugula mix, plenty of vegetables and toppings, and a fresh herb vinaigrette. They offer over 50 toppings, 10 house-made dressings, and 10 total meat and meatless proteins. They also have tea tap The space is clean, bright and open. Plenty of seating indoor and out. I've ordered online and pick-up was seamless. They have a designated area for online and delivery orders. Bags are clearly labeled with names. The staff was very friendly and helpful and all wore masks and gloves.

Romaine mix with Jalapeño avocado dressing

This place is really good. One of the best salads around. I don't crave a lot of salad places, but this place I do. I like the romaine mix. They have so many options for things to add to your salad and they are big salads. The jalapeño avocado dressing is my go to. Make sure you ask for the croissant at the end. They seem to only give it by request only not just automatic.

Custom salad

If you want a fresh salad with tons of options and great service, go here. I had salmon, romaine, kale, avocado with lime cilantro vinaigrette and it rocked. Want salad, go here.

The servers behind the bar tend to be energetic, friendly students from the nearby high school. The owner is also friendly. Everything is fresh. They have vegetables, fruits, nuts, proteins, and anything else that might go on a salad. Some categories of ingredients are extra, such as proteins. These are clearly marked so there are no surprises. They are generous with whatever toppings are requested. Ask for more of what you like. They do not weigh the salads they combine for you. They sell by container. Fill it as you will. I've seen people take advantage to the point where the container will barely close but the server just smiles. It must even out. The restaurant is spacious and well lit. Plenty of natural light during the day. The minimalistic design just feels right. Value is great. You really can't go wrong.

Now I certainly got everything I wanted.. and it was loaded to the brim (next time I'm asking for more corn) but the price just about threw me for a loop. By the time it delivered the cost was way high! I guess maybe it is better to eat in. I mean it's a salad... the main component is still lettuce... but honestly if I had one complaint it was that there was not enough lettuce. I guess I loaded it up with so much stuff there was less room for lettuce? In the end it was a great tasting salad... fresh, loaded, and fantastic.. just a bit on the pricy side especially once delivered. But next I'm time I'll just go and eat there!

The menu feels a bit more streamlined than I remember from the original location, though the core dishes are still there. It will be interesting to see how the restaurant evolves under the current management. Regardless, the food consistently tastes authentic and well prepared. Service has always been pleasant and efficient during my visits, which makes the experience even better. Parking can occasionally be tricky since it's located in downtown Alpharetta, but there's a nearby free parking garage that makes it manageable. Overall, it's a solid go-to when you're craving Korean food in the area without needing to drive to neighboring cities.

The spicy jjamppong here tasted horrible. it was just noodles with 5 pieces of over cooked and old seafood in chili paste broth.... Second. The bibimbap? why would they serve it on a FLAT plate? it was so hard to mix the rice in it. Portion size of this dish was like kids menu. Not sure if they only focused on the aesthetics of the restaurant but there no need for you to waste money here.

We decided to try Slurpin' Ramen Bar first. I had read that they originally started in California so I had a good feeling about it and I'm so glad we went! Their tonkotsu broth was probably the best I've had in the US. It was rich and full of flavor without feeling overly heavy. It was so good that we didn't want to leave any behind so we actually took the leftover broth with us for the 5-hour drive home (thankfully we had a cooler bag!). I immediately had to tell my son who's currently living in LA for college so he can visit one there too. This place is definitely going on our must-visit restaurant list from now on.

First, when you walk into the restaurant, it is very cute, has a bar for solo diners and booths incase you are in a group. The location is very cozy and the employees were great! Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.

The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to explain the menu and make recommendations, which makes the experience even better. I ordered the Cha-shu Japanese Bun and the Cha-shu Ramen, and wow--both were outstanding. You can truly taste that everything is homemade, just like my adopted grandma made this at home with love, patience, and tradition. The cha-shu pork was perfectly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bun was soft, fresh, and paired beautifully with the rich, savory pork. The ramen itself was next level. The broth was deep, rich, and comforting, clearly simmered with care and attention. The noodles had the perfect texture, and adding all the toppings just took it over the top--each ingredient felt thoughtfully prepared and balanced. This is the kind of place where you can tell the food is made with passion, not shortcuts. Amazing food, great portions, welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier service. If you're looking for authentic, comforting, and delicious ramen, Ramen Spot is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Just not a fancy place if that is what you're looking for. We don't care as long as the food is good. Ramen needs to be flavorful.. it is basically noodles and broth so the additions count, the flavor is a must, and the cook on the noodle has to be just right. They deliver... it was good.

I ordered 2 dishes to go (Mama's Chicken, and Bamboo + Pork) for my parents and me. I come to pick up the foods at the counter and behold, they give me 2 tiny boxes of white steam rice. I was like, can you give me a bigger container than the tiny one you got. He said same tiny container. I was like can I just a one big one for $2. He said No, $2 for each tiny container. I was like seriously? I just spent $35 with them and I can't even get enough rice for me and my parents. Never in my years, have I ever had an issue about getting extra rice for any restaurant. This has got to be the cheapest restaurant in the world. I finally told the guy, don't worry about it. I didn't want to pay $4 extra for tiny containers or rice. They lost a long time customer for a such little dollars. Its the principle and they provided horrible customer service. I will not be coming back and I highly suggest in not giving these people any business especially on how cheap they are. I provided a photo of the rice containers that come with each entree. Nothing sucks more than having entrees and not enough rice to eat it with. Their entrees lack portions as their portions have gotten alot smaller as well.
