My friend ordered a tuna wrap and immediately noticed it tasted off, but she didn't want to complain right away. She asked for hot sauce and they gave her sriracha, which she kept adding trying to mask the taste. She asked me to try a bite and it was so bad I couldn't even swallow it. Then we noticed the sriracha bottle was expired. We told the employee at the counter and she checked the back and said the bottle back there was expired too. When my friend asked for a refund, an older man who seemed like the manager or owner came out and the first thing he said was, "Nothing is wrong with the wrap, it's fine." It was dismissive and rude. Instead of asking what the issue was, he immediately brushed us off. He did eventually give the refund. About an hour later my friend got food poisoning, and later that night I started feeling sick too (I only had a bite). Between the expired condiments, the questionable taste of the wrap itself, and the way the situation was handled, it was a really disappointing experience. read more

Updating my review because I LOVE this place and my previous review from over 5 years ago doesn't reflect recent experiences here. We've been coming to this Kale me Crazy location a lot the past year and the owner, Phil, is absolutely amazing. He is so welcoming and friendly. The patio is pet-friendly, and our dog begs to come here because Phil has dog treats behind the counter to offer him. He also brings bowls of water out to the patio for our pup. The store is super clean & bright. They have a variety of fresh juices and snacks available as a quick grab-and-go in the cold case. They also have smoothies and really delicious lunch offerings. Today I got the smoked salmon salad and added avocado to it. It was absolute perfection. The lettuce they use on that salad is my all time favorite! My husband got an egg sandwich on a bagel and thought it was a perfect, filling lunch. The prices have always been a bit high here, but it's fresh, real food & so nourishing, we have found it worth it. If you feel a cold coming on, stop by and get an immunity shot (from the cold case) and the Recovery smoothie and it helps so much! Located in downtown Alpharetta kale me crazy is a great place to stop in for a wrap, açaí bowl, Cold pressed juice, toast, or salad! The parking situation can be a little challenging. There is a parking deck located in the plaza but it has very limited spots and was full on a Tuesday afternoon. If you're lucky you can get a parallel spot- if not you must park across the street in a parking deck. I tried the vegan wrap and it had lots of yummy vegetables and a tahini sauce. I ordered an extra tahini sauce and it was 1$ for that. I also tried the beet juice and really enjoyed it! All in all it was 20+ dollars for the wrap and a cold pressed juice. Located just off the main strip of S Main St (Hwy 9), this newly established Kale Me Crazy location has been blending healthy juices and smoothies as well as whipping up freshly made salads and wraps since the beginning of April 2019! My wife and I stopped in on National Smoothie Day (6/21) for the first time to have lunch. They were running a special which was 25% off all their smoothies, so we ordered two. I ordered the Green Dream and my wife ordered the Tropical Trippin'. Both smoothies were very light and refreshing in taste which was perfect for a hot summer day. Personally, I enjoyed my wife's drink a little more then mines. The Tropical Trippin' had orange, mango, pineapple, coconut yogurt and coconut milk all blended together! Anything mango is my jam! I just thought I'd be adventurous and try something I normally wouldn't order. The Green Dream consists of kale, spinach, pineapple, apple, mint leaves and coconut water. Don't get me wrong, it was very flavorful as well, but I just preferred the taste of my wife's smoothie more! The normal prices (tax included) for each smoothie are as follow: Tropical Trippin': $8.02 Green Dream: $8.56 We also ordered their chicken pesto wrap and turkey wrap. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the chicken pesto wrap the most! I love sun-dried tomatoes and basil pesto sauce. Each wrap was $10.70 (tax included). I will say that the wraps are pretty small for the price tag that's on them. The wraps also do not include a side or a drink. Nonetheless, both were still very delicious in flavor! The turkey wrap had avocado and hummus on it which really enhanced the overall flavor and texture of the wrap. My wife really enjoyed this wrap the most! There is very limited parking in front of the cafe. You may get lucky and find an open parallel parking spot in front of the cafe, but be prepared to park at another business or parking lot and walk over. My tip is to just go ahead and park behind Ceviche if the area is busy. There is a pretty big parking lot located behind the restaurant which typically always has open parking spots. Once you park in the parking lot, come through the outside seating area of Ceviche, cross the street at the intersection and wallah, you're there. Less then a 2 minute walk! read more

Kale Me Crazy had its Grand Opening today (they had a soft opening this past Sunday). This is owner Phil's second location for Kale Me Crazy. The other location is located in Roswell, which he opened about 3 years ago. I was able to meet Phil and his son Brandon on this occasion. They are very nice people. They are offering free smoothies during their grand opening today from 4-9pm. So if you hurry, you might be able to grab one and try it out for yourself. They were also passing out some wraps and salad samplers. Kale Me Crazy is a café that offers juices, smoothies, salads and wraps in an upscale environment. Their goal is to support healthy lifestyles through the use of fresh, organic and raw food. On this visit, I tried the Recovery Smoothie which tasted much better than I imagined it would. I usually prefer to have my smoothies without the protein addition, but they understandably preferred that you did not modify the orders today. I was also able to sample the Tropical Trippin' Smoothie which I really liked. All of the fruits and yogurt blended together very nicely. They also offer a variety of foods which I look forward to trying on my next visit. Overall, I had a good experience here. There is street parking available, and I was able to park relatively easily. But I'm not sure where there is additional parking during busier hours of the day. If you're in the mood for a smoothie, it's definitely worth giving it a shot. read more

I ordered the Chicken Pesto Wrap with a a Greek salad vis their online site. When I arrived I received my order instantly. I was greeted by a very nice woman. The inside was very clean! The food overall was great. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the lettuce on the sandwich was kind of brown. But honestly, other than that, I will most definitely return. While the seasons are in transition, I always try to bulk up on the healthy goodie-ness to get ahead of any sickness. I didn't know there was one in this area since it is tucked away at the bottom of another building. I've frequented this location a few times and the staff is always attentive. They also provide solid recommendations when I ask as well. If they are busy, it may take a minute to get your meal as sometimes the cashier is also help making smoothies the times I have been. We stopped in here yesterday after walking 5+ miles around around the Cumberland walking trails and through Paces Mill and back to the mall! The recovery shake was right on time! It has cherries, banana, coconut yogurt, almond milk, cashews, & vegan protein. There's a little finely grated coconut on top. I'm not a coconut flake fan but this was so finely grated I didn't mind it and actually enjoyed it. I was a little concerned w/ the ingredients but knew I needed recovery help after that long walk! It was just what I needed. The flavors paired well together and indeed helped me recover. I would definitely order this again. I'm not sure if she was the manager or owner but the woman who made my smoothie took the extra and gave it to others in the line to sample. They all shook their heads in agreement and/or verbally expressed that they liked it. I thought that was cool if her but also provided a sample to those waiting of what they may like on that, or a future visit. Good marketing! I've had avocado toast before but this was especially yummy and just right. I've had simple avocado toast and then some where the people just seem to go overboard trying to put way too much on the toast. This was just right to me. The mashed avocado is mixed w/ Dijon mustard, placed on Ezekiel bread, & topped w/ sliced organic boiled eggs and a scallion mix. What a delight! The Dijon mustard is just right and not overpowering at all. I didn't really taste it except to note that the avocado was well blended and seasoned. The toast was lightly sprinkled w/ salt which was perfecto! I can't wait to return. The restaurant was clean, as was the bathroom. They also have cold water in a dispenser as you walk in, which was welcome after being out in the heat. I appreciated the recycling bin inside as well as I got to toss my can in I had from my walk instead of taking it home. The staff were nice and friendly. The cashier was in training and the manager or owner apologized but we were cool. We've all been in training before and we had nowhere to rush to. It was also nice to see how she interacted with the cashier as she was supportive and patient with her and didn't throw her under the bus or act rude about it. I have to say I'm disappointed, as was my boyfriend with this place. After breakfast, we wanted a smoothie, and found this establishment on the way back to our car from eating in downtown Alpharetta. First of all, we waited a really, really long time for our smoothies, and secondly they were not very tasty. They only offer nondairy protein powders, so the protein they used was really chalky. I cannot recall what smoothies we got other than he chose a acai one and I had one with almond butter and banana, but it really wasn't very good at all. Way pricier, and not even good as our usual smoothie place. Mine tasted really bland and then had that awful aftertaste. Finally Kale Me Crazy opens up in Vinings near Cumberland Mall!! I was excited to try since I've heard and read about how great Kale Me Crazy is. It is located near my job, in walking distance so I would always see it when taking a stroll outside. The other day, I saw that it's finally open so I finally decided to eat there today. It is located on the bottom floor of the newest apartment building off Cumberland Blvd. I ordered online. There's a 10% discount too if you order online or on their app. Finally, I decided on the vegan wrap and Beet Up juice drink. While I walked to the location, I checked my e-mail and it has that my order will be ready in ten minutes. It's a small place, around 4 small tables. It's clean and hip. It's good for grab me juices that are premade. Right now, there is a 50% off post workout smoothies if you bring in their ad. I grab a few to bring to my co-workers to try. When I tried the vegan wrap, all I can say is it's a healthy and natural as you can get. Honestly, it is almost flavorless but has a hint of freshness. This is one of my favorite smoothie bars, and I was besides myself when I found out that they were opening a location up the block from me. My fav's are the Recovery and Recharge smoothies, as well as their Açaí bowls. Their smoothies have healthy ingredients, minus the "healthy taste." They actually taste delicious (some smoothie spots have healthy smoothies that taste like dirt; sorry, not sorry, lol). I had time today to finally drop by in this brutally cold weather. After parallel parking on the side of the building, nearly getting blown away from the cold wind, and side eyeing a few folks who were walking around in t-shirts, I made it inside the building. I was surprised when I got it as both of the bowls were only half filled. I asked the server for a confirmation if its always like that which she confirmed. Furthermore, both the servers haven't got any soft comments to appreciate the thought or at least exchange the reasoning behind this. Seemed they both were employees and definitely not the owner. Kale Me Crazy is hands down my favorite healthy chain. I was so excited to have one close to where I work. I have eaten at the Buckhead, Inman Park, Decatur and Smyrna locations countless times. I am actually addicted to their juice The Glow, Painkillers, Hummus (founder's family recipe) and basically love their whole menu. That being said this location is so off brand in quality and flavor. I have not once had my order correct when ordering delivery. The Glow and Painkiller literally taste like the cheapest grocery aisle turmeric and are not even remotely pleasant. If you have not had the real thing maybe you will like it okay. The hummus today tasted like a can of tahini. This should be the best hummus in Vinings if made per KMC standards. After today's experience my coworkers and I decided that this location not only deserved a review but KMC needed to be defended of this is people's only experience. Yikes. Stay away. It's worth the 15 min drive to Smyrna or Buckhead. For real. read more

I finally got to try it! They did not disappoint except for the red onion already being mixed into the tuna wrap... We told the person taking our order about my allergy, too. Shouldn't she know it's mixed into the tuna? I could avoid it to a large degree, thankfully. However, I won't be able to order it again considering my uncomfortable reaction. It tasted very similar to what I make at home. Normally carrots aren't my favorite, but the ones they served in the wrap were good. I was told the poke bowl was very good, as well. The only complaint was the edamame maybe wasn't the best as a pairing. It was reminiscent of a Japanese donbury according to my lunch companion. The tuna, avocado and radish were very well placed. The rice especially had a very distinct and pleasant flavor. There was no need for soy sauce and that's coming from someone who loves it! We didn't dine outside, but it did look like they allow pets as there was a water bowl. They offer a good variety of juices and we were able to sample two of them (Paradise and Glow) - both were good and I maybe preferred Paradise a bit more. I saw an advertisement for watermelon juice, but did not see any to purchase. We shared an Iced Matcha and it was good, but a bit weird at the same time. We will return for more visits. read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place as I am a big fan of Kale as well as salads in general. First of all the shop is super cute and clean. The employee was also super sweet. I was a bit taken back by the smaller selection of salads. I chose the Quinoa Salad with there vinaigrette dressing to go. The portion was really big - but the price was as well. When first diving in it really didn't have much taste at all. The other dressing option was a peanut dressing. I'm not a fan of peanut sauce but in this situation I may have chosen the wrong dressing?? It may have had more taste. They do have all sorts of wraps, drinks, and bowls. I can't speak to the rest of the food as this was our 1st time trying out Kale Me Crazy Alpharetta. But as far as what we had -Terrible flavorless chicken for kale salad that was over price, but more importantly they were dry, rude and unkind to us. It's one thing to treat us rudely for no apparent reason, but to be pleasant to the customers that came in behind us that were of non color made it more offensive. She Ignored our questions about flavored drinks after repeated the question 3 times and then got frustrated when we asked for the feta that they felled to put on my salad as if it was a bother to them to correct and give us what we paid for. Sighing and rolling eyes. I hate lots of dressing on my salad to the point I actually normally ask for it on the side. It was, so little that even I asked for a bit more. The lady came out with the dressing handed to me and as I was picking up my salad and turning to leave this man (I'm guessing the manager ) came abruptly from the back to the front counter aggressively saying your going to have to pay extra for that...... it was so weird and off putting. The women though nasty definitely wasn't going to ask for us to pay I declined wanting paying an $2.50 for additional dressing on my salad and shared I wasn't the happiest with my order, but didn't want to complain. His response "well what's wrong with it.??" I said it just had very little dressing and wasn't the most fond of the taste of the chicken." He responded it's CHICKEN. At this point I was completely thrown off. I said it ok if your now going to try to required me to pay an additional $2.50 for dressing I'd much rather have a refund.( especially now that both of them have been nasty and rude) His replied your not getting a refund.
