I've order online in the past and there's no option to mix in the dressing and don't follow any requests in the comment section. I used to think chopt was bad until I saw this place. First the store says open until 9, walk in at 8 and they are putting most of the ingredients away. It seemed like I was asking the employee a favor to make my salad and she spent most of the time coughing all over my food. I walked out I can't deal with customer service that bad. I get it's not a job you love but companies need to do better training people like this and would love if they payed their employees a little more so the service wasn't so terrible. Yikes this location sucks!! WHAT HAPPENED HERE??? It used to be the best. I got an email double points if you order a grain bowl this week. I walk in and order an asian peanut chicken grain bowl from the menu on the wall. I was told they don't have that. Um, ok how about the Southwest grain bowl? Nope we don't have that either. Awesome. I order the Buffalo Blue salad with no Bleu Cheese. I watch the girl make it and see she has added pepperoni but I have no idea why. She tried to put wontons on it but someone told her it should be the tortilla strips. They try to charge me an extra 1.79 for the pepperoni. They tell me for the extra protein I ordered. Um, no I didn't order extra protein. I said I don't know why she put pepperoni on there but I didn't order that. They dump it in the trash. Why? Because I wasn't going to pay extra for it? They make a new salad but with regular chicken instead of the buffalo which is the whole point of the BUFFALO CHICKEN salad, and no tortilla strips. Of course I didn't find that out until I got home. Second time eating here. First time was very good and thought I would try them again. This time was a different experience. The lettuce looked old with brown pieces throughout. The young man who made my salad made sure not to give me any bad lettuce. Hence, I generously gave them the two stars for this review. However as I was eating my salad, there was a long piece of hair tossed within my salad and I almost threw up from gaging with it stuck in my throat! This Saladworks has been open for several years, but I usually make my own salads. But Saturday before last, after an all day project in the house, the wife and daughters wanted to pick up Saladworks and bring home. What the heck, I figured. I'm in. Never having been there before, I ordered the Buffalo Blue. Wow. Fresh, crispy, tasty. It was exactly as described. The only change, in the future -- I will order without the sour banana peppers. They just didn't add to the salad. It was good enough that a week later, when daughter one was ill and wanted broccoli cheddar soup, I said "Wait. They have soup?" I ordered Pasta e Fagioli for dinner. Ok. Not as good as the Italian Restaurant up the street, but pretty darn good. It came with a dinner roll, but sick daughter was looking longingly at it, and I don't eat much bread, so... Big mistake. Why? Well, I also ordered New England Clam Chowder for lunch the next day. Again, not as good as made from scratch, but not bad. Certainly, better than canned soup. This time, I ate the roll. Oh man, it was one fine, fresh, crusty roll. Then, for the third time in two weeks, daughter one and wife wanted to build their own salads. They surprised me with a fresh tossed salad with crispy chicken and hard boiled egg. My only complaint was that Saladworks doesn't peel the cucumbers. That's not a big deal in the summer when cukes are local, but the skin on these winter cukes was very thick, hard to chew. I ended up throwing the pieces of cucumber away. Next I want to try their sandwiches​. Based on the salads, soup and rolls, I have high expectations. Saladworks is a winner. read more

We order take out and the entire order was completely wrong. We called and spoke with the manager who seemed to be rude and inconsiderate. I later returned to the restaurant and requested the order be resolve the manager did not wish to resolve the orde. I cancelled my order and requested a refund. Very rude customer service was trying to download app to get the buy one get one free salad. Lady very rudly said you can't do that. We called ahead to see if they were doing buy one get one free they said yes and didn't mention you had to be a member. Will never go back there again or any other salad work location because of my experience there. No wonder why no one goes to salad works any more with service like that. One of the better, more reliable chain salad restaurants in the area. It's always clean and the toppings look fresh. I usually create my own salad, which allows you to pick 5 toppings, so I can double down on poultry meats. I'd recommend you ask them to use half the normal amount of dressing, unless you like an ultramoist salad and more calories than if you had gone to McDernalds for a Shbig Mac. read more

For example, not adhering to food safety guidelines. Also, the last three times that we go to this store we have felt sick for several hours within half an hour of eating your salads. Or if you have employees that are not following hand-washing procedures. You can deny that it is the food, but if you are not there to supervise your employees personally you do not know what they are up to. We will mot be coming back to this restaurant probably ever. We have hd several problems and spoken to a manager that didn't seem to care at all. I have had several poor customer service experiences and have waited in line for over 20 minutes in line. I stopped in tonight for a build your own Salad, I had to wait as the staff was trying to restock the salad bar. Once i was able to order the employees were pushing me through the line and half ass making my order. I never got a measured amount of any of the ingredients. Then I wanted a few extra items and I was made to feel like it was a problem. I'm paying for it so why does it matter what I want to order. I have never had this bad of service at a Saladworks. This location is in need of management. I visited yesterday and today- they are always out of something (ie- pecans, walnuts, kale, brussels). The workers complain about each other not doing anything and you can overhear them. There are three people at one register (assuming one was in training) and one making salads, and another "overseeing". It's just a hot mess. My New Year's resolution was to eat healthier so I started to frequent the Saladworks at Fox Run. What I have found over the past few months is that the portion sizes have been reduced while the price remains the same. The take out containers are also smaller. I typically get a soup with my salad and the last two times I have gotten mostly broth. Salads and options are great and so are deserts! Many different choices of toppings and all of them look fresh. 90% of the people working there are very friendly and helpful. This might be the worst Saladworks I've ever been to. Yes I know they're a fast food version of salads. The staff is always miserable and every one of them is short with customers. Today when I went in with 2 coworkers and literally 1/3 of the topping and dressing bins were empty. I assumed it was because they had opened only an hour earlier and maybe didn't get everything out to line. After all, 10:30 is awfully early in the morning. So when we ordered our salads and asked for toppings we were told "we're out of that, pick something else". If I wanted something else I would've asked for something else. On top of that, I asked for extra meat and was completely ignored. I'm fully aware there's an extra cost so why not give me what I ask for?! My favorite was when my coworker orders the mandarin chicken salad. They get 3/4 of the way thru making it and say "we don't have oranges, I can give you apples instead". There's a joke here about apples and oranges but the bigger joke is the lack of management in this place. Nobody gives a shit at all. This is the last time I will be going here.
