Fiesta burrito
Lien S.

Made an online order last Friday morning for 3 Fiesta Burritos (one no cheese subbed with avocado) and a cinnamon dulce oat milk iced coffee. Drove out to pick it up and waited maybe 5 minutes since they had to cook more turkey sausage. Right when it was ready, I had to put in a last minute order for an extra Fiesta Burrito and a cinnamon dulce oat milk iced coffee. The girl at the window was nice. She told me to let her know as soon as I submit the order and they can work on that right away for me. That order came out pretty quick! I chose 2 traditional salad and 2 spicy adobo sauce for the burritos. The turkey burritos were good! Pretty big size. I recommend the traditional salsa over the spicy adobo sauce. The cinnamon dulce oat milk latte was okayyy. All 4 burritos plus 2 iced coffees was about $20! It's rare to get that price for that amount of food anywhere nowadays

They closed The Kneaders by my house, so gave salad and go a whirl. I still enjoy it and always get my Cobb salad with ranch and provolone cheese, with extra chicken. I always have too much lettuce left over but it was still good and helped my salad fix. Service is always great here and it was busy this time of day but I wasn't waiting long which is a good fit for the name. Lol. Great for salad lovers.

Lettuce and tofu (there's a cherry tomato in there somewhere)
Paige K.

I usually loveee salad and go, I've never had a problem before with any locations until this one. I went last night and grabbed a Cobb salad with tofu, they said they were out of avocado and asked if I wanted extra of anything else no charge. I told them that's totally fine and to just add some extra tofu. I grabbed my order and the guys was super nice and told me again he was sorry about the avocado. I got home and was extremely sad to find my salad was ONLY a teaspoon of cheese, lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes, and tofu. I paid for a Cobb and got about 1-8 of it. Extremely sad. Hopefully it was just a one time mistake but I'm going to stop and check all my food from them before driving off now. Huge pet peeve of mine with to-go food places when they don't give you what the meal should be. Also: just read some of the other reviews and they had the same experience. Order a salad within the last hour of them being open and you'll get none of the ingredients you pay for. Seems like a manager needs to intervene and talk to the employees about their laziness. I know it's frustrating working the last hour and customers still come (I was a bartender for many years) but that doesn't mean you give half the quality or effort.

This is the second time I've gotten a hard tortilla for my wrap and the price keeps going up!?!?! I'm going to start finding another place.

I needed a quick bite today, so I grabbed a quick salad from salad n go. This place is great for on the go. Quick and fast service as always and I'm full before my next meeting. Love this place. Highly recommend.

I'd prefer a Autum salad with no hair in it please!
Karis L.

I was addicted to their salads($8.33) until having one for lunch on my way to an appointment and finding a dirty blonde hair in it. Ewww The drive thru lady was kinda jumping the gun as I requested a Autum salad and she asked "with chicken".... interesting but I'm going to assume she remembered my order. ‍ ‍ When I approached the window I asked if I could swap the dressing for one that I liked and the lady(RANIE... CASHIER, AS PER RECIPT) got pretty nasty with me and took my bag in the back after telling me that, I should've requested that when I was placing the order... well daumn!!! Sorry sheesh!!! Is that why a hair was in it ??? Ewwww She had a very bad attitude during this entire experience, when usually, the staff are nice! There was 1 lady, JADA I BELIEVE, (as per receipt) who made the drinks waved at me. She was AWESOME for recognizing me. Anyway, I won't go back to this location because once I find hair in my food it's a wrap... perhaps they should wear hair nets. I do recommend not putting the dressing pack on top of the actual salad... seems unsanitary and is kinda gross as heck!

This Salad and Go was a go-to stop for me when I lived nearby in Chandler. I love stopping at a Salad and Go on nights I don't feel like cooking and want something healthy. They promote fresh organic eating and they make it fast. What's great about this place is that the prices are very affordable for healthy eating. In fact, in the past couple years they have lowered their menu prices and increased employee pay. You can get a salad with chicken or tofu for around $6. Salad and Go is also big on being environmental friendly. They have helped by eliminating a bag to put your food in and plastic straws. I am pretty much a fan of all their salads, but the jalapeño ranch is my favorite. I love that they put your salad in a big container so you can shake up your salad to make sure the dressing is evenly distributed. For breakfast, you can get a breakfast burrito and a cold brew for under $5. Lemonades and cold brew coffee are $1.24 everyday! Thank you Salad and Go for opening up more locations and for keeping the prices affordable.

Cold chicken pot pie soup.

Have you ever seen a bunny that's chowing down on some greens and gotten food envy? Yeah, me neither but here we are with another Salad and Go review. Are all locations the same? I thought they were until I came to this one. Salad and Go is always great but my chicken pot pie soup was served at room temperature here so that was weird. Room temperature soup when you want a hot soup on a cold day is awful. Other than the soup fiasco, the salad was still very much the same tasty leaves as their other locations. Two thumbs up! Come for a salad and/or a wrap but be wary of their soups.

Their salads at this location are like 1/2 the size of other locations June 2023

You really can't go wrong here. Service was awesome--friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We also loved the outdoor seating, which made for a really nice, relaxed vibe. My only con is that there aren't many vegan options. They do have some vegetarian choices, but if you're vegan, you'll likely need to modify a few dishes. Overall, a great brunch spot that we'll definitely be coming back to!

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. There was a group of servers standing around chatting, and no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a server came over just to offer water and ask about drinks. We placed our drink order, and while the coffee came in a carafe, it wasn't even hot. The rest of the drinks trickled out later. Then it was another 20+ minutes before the server came back to take our food order. We ordered two simple build-your-own breakfasts and an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (no fries), plus two Cobb salads to go. Nothing complicated--yet the food took a long time to come out. During that entire wait, our server never checked on us once. No updates, no refills, nothing. When the food finally arrived, we ate, and again--no check-in, no "how is everything," no refill offers. Eventually, she dropped the check off without a word. We had to remind her about the two Cobb salads we ordered to go. She said they'd be right out, and a couple minutes later they showed up with a revised bill. Before leaving, we checked the salads--and that was the final straw. For $18, they were basically side salads. No cheese, no grilled chicken, no avocado, no croutons, no green onions, and not even any hard boiled eggs--just iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing. Completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be a Cobb salad. We waited at the table for about 5 minutes for someone to come back--no one did. So we went up front and stood there another 5 minutes while multiple staff members ignored us, continuing their closing routines. Not a single person asked if we needed help, and our server was nowhere to be found. At that point, we left the salads behind, paid for the rest of the meal, and walked out. Terrible service from start to finish, and the food quality didn't make up for it. We won't be back.

Counter order and table service. Had it not been a warm day, we would've sat outside (they have both inside and outside seating). It appears they have daily specials, but I went with a hearty stack of pancakes and some eggs on the side. As good as their prices are on drinks.. The French toast does have that fried flavor to it which isn't my favorite but it was good. Definitely a different type than typical smashed looking French toast dishes at breakfast spots. These were stacked and fluffy. The service was quick and once you order you choose where to sit which is nice. There's indoor and outdoor seating with bathrooms available as well. The service stood out immediately--our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. The food itself was hearty and satisfying. Always hoping a local recommendation turns out great. *Service: the service was fair. Our waitress spent most of the time sitting in the booth across from us on her phone and checked in occasionally. A few times we had to ask for things we needed. Nothing rude, just not especially attentive or engaged. Definitely didn't feel like her #1 priority. *Food: I ordered the tuna *melt*. It was alright, but nothing to write home about. The tuna itself was relatively cold (should have been warm on a melt) and lacked flavor, the cheese wasn't melted (it's a "melt", right?), and the bread was good. I dipped and drenched in salt, pepper, ranch and hot sauce to give it some flavor. The fries were good, hot and tasty. Overall, it felt like a mid-level café sandwich made by a basic "cook", not a well curated restaurant sandwich. My lunch buddy ordered a smothered omelette that looked great, and he said it was very good, so that was good. *Ambiance: the atmosphere was decent. Very basic, a bit cold feeling, café-like, casual, and reasonably comfortable. Nothing stood out strongly other than it seemed pretty clean and bright. *Value: my tuna melt and fries, with no drink, was $16. Not great, not terrible. It felt like an $8-$10 sandwich max for what I got, not a standout value. I posted a picture of their specials board so you can get a feel for the value. *Overall: everything here was fair, food, service, and ambiance while value was not great. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. A three-star experience for me. I wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area and others wanted to go. *Update: I have a strong reputation for detailed, honest, and trustworthy reviews.
