We went here for lunch and wanted to try their buffet style items. The place wasn't busy on a week day lunch. Food they served was fresh. Their serving staff were helpful and friendly. The place was well decorated and lighting was subtle. Not bright for your eyes. The food is reasonably priced. We hope to be back soon.

This place is just average. Nothing bad about it but I wouldn't go out of my way to pick this place again. I'm glad for the experience to try a sushi buffet but would rather go to an all you can eat sushi place. The place had a ton of tables and everything looked very clean. The food sits out which means it just isn't hot enough. They have a good selection of side dishes but felt the sushi selection was small. It also did not help that some labels by the sushi were missing. The staff came by often to take the empty plates. At the beginning though they did not explain the process so we just assumed there was no menu and everyone got the buffet.

Fruits with eel sushi and crawfish. Super yummy

Was passing through heading to Princeton NJ and spotted this restaurant on the way. Food was great and everyone was friendly with smiles. Of course another place where I could not stop myself from eating and I lived every minute. Please come by and enjoy their foods. Super yummy

Sakura Sushi & Grill Seafood Buffet in North Brunswick, NJ is a nice sushi buffet location. They have all types of sushi and sashimi, as well as a nice selection of soups, lo mein, chicken, French Fries, desserts, almost everything you could think of. The sushi chefs keep the sushi flowing, and the atmosphere is very pretty. It's a great option for families with choosy kids. There is a surcharge for wasted food, so it's best not to overfill your plate, just take what you'd like, then get some more. I definitely enjoyed our meal and look forward to going back.

Sakura has become the go-to buffet when visiting family in that area and everyone has a different food craving. Sakura offers a variety of food from shellfish, baked fish, fried fish, sushi, sashimi, cold salads, chinese food, american food, fried foods, steamed foods, soups, lobster claws, pig feet, chicken feet, wontons, dumplings shumai and salads etc... so if you have a group that can't agree on a specific cuisine, Sakura may be a solid option to satisfy the whole group. We have been here a few times and I have not really experienced any dishes that have been sitting for long. Of course, we do NOT go at the end of the day to finish the scraps. They are constantly refreshing the supply during busy times. The meats are usually tender. The mayonaise shrimp is delicious. The sushi is the best buffet sushi i have experienced. If you are expecting gourmet chef cooked meals this may not be for you, its a buffet. The basic packaged ice cream selections are the best of the dessert section. The pastries are boxed and usually mediocre at best. The staff works hard and is always on top of cleaning your table and filling your drinks. The make an effort to make a dessert plate with a candle for birthday celebrations. They have a nice selection for kids such as nuggets, fries, pizza and mac & cheese but it's pricey for a children's appetite. Definitely return with a group.

I'd consider this a pretty good Asian lunch buffet in the area. I've been a few times now and service is consistent every time, food always taste fresh, they have a great selection of AYCE sushi and ambiance is quite nice for a buffet. I think just based off their sushi selection alone, the price is worth it. They have a variety of options for pescatarians and even a decent selection for any vegetarians as well. I'd recommend!

So yummy! We've gone here about three times and have always had a great experience. Delicious food & yummy sushi

Very much enjoyed the lunch buffet on a Friday ! Very clean and sanitized inside. Also friendly and helpful staff. To eat form the buffet you just wear a mask and gloves (gloves provided). It literally smelled like they just cleaned which is a plus. Food was tasty for the most part. Most things that I find as my favorite in other places like the cream cheese fried wontons and chicken and broccoli were lacking a bit here. But I can understand since not much people coming, food just sits out. Their sushi on the other hand, great fresh flavor and it melted like butter. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm happy they didn't disappoint.

Lobster was great

The best all-you-can-eat sushi/chinese food buffet. Sushi is amazing for a buffet and the hot entrees are also very good and fresh.

The fish is very fresh. All of our family think this is the best all you can eat seafood restaurant in the central NJ.

5-Star Review for Ramen Nagomi Ramen Nagomi was excellent!…read moreThe ramen had rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh toppings -- everything was delicious. Ambiance was great as well! Our server, Darius, provided outstanding service: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place -- we'll definitely be back!

I…read morewould've reviewed it sooner, but every time the food arrives, we're so excited to dig in that we forget to take pictures--in this case, the phone definitely does not eat first! This is easily one of the best ramen spots I've ever tried. They offer a great variety of broths, ranging from clear to creamy and spicy. My personal favorite is the Spicy Miso Ramen; it's the perfect balance of richness and heat, accompanied by incredibly tender pieces of slow-braised pork belly. I also love that you can fully customize your bowl with different toppings to make it exactly to your taste. You also cannot skip their appetizers. This time we ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura, which was fried to perfection without overcooking the shrimp, and the sauces were the perfect addition. You also need to try their Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, the Bao Buns, and my absolute favorite: the Ika Geso Karaage, which comes with the most delicious mayo dipping sauce. The cozy ambiance perfectly complements the food, and the service is always attentive. It's a BYOB spot, which is a nice touch, and they'll provide glasses upon request. Since they don't take reservations, make sure to add yourself to the Yelp waitlist so you don't have to wait too long to try this amazing food!

I've eaten at Ottoyee for months now, and each experience has been incredibly delicious. However, the only thing is that the wait time can run very long. Not for the food to arrive, but for placing the order. We tried to get the attention of the waiter on staff multiple times, but was either ignored or they were behind the screen attending to something else. The wait time was around 15-20 minutes, but this is likely attributed to the small staff. Otherwise though, they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu and we still had a delicious experience as usual.

I so wanted to love this place, and was so excited to try it when reading the menu. Otoro? Ramen?…read moreGyudon? It all sounded like the perfect restaurant, but I'm really hesitant to return. Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.

Just came back from having dinner here. Surprise surprise. Another AYCE spot in Jersey…read more Overall, the fish quality was decent and the sashimi pieces were large. Good selection of hot food too. The service was quite slow even though the restaurant was empty. It took a while for the sushi to arrive, and by that time, we started feeling full from the appetizers. We knew we were not going to get our money's worth tonight. Towards the end of our meal, we started smelling a poopy stench in the air - yes you heard me, POOPY! It made me completely lose my appetite. I'm so done with sushi buffets...never again :(

Tried this spot twice!!!! Once when they first opened and once very recently. Ambiance looks dated,…read morenot modern and not period or style correct, just dated. The menu was a mix of Japanese and Chinese dishes. Unfortunately they missed the mark on both. At some point, halfway through the meal I thought to myself, wow these flavors are way off, do they even know how to cook or know the flavors that the customers are looking for. (Why would you put wasabi in the bbq squid that comes with teriyaki sauce), to order hibachi you need to order everything separately. The service was kind and attentive but very disorganized even though it was only 2 tables being served. Do NOT order the all-you- can-eat, waste of money, too expensive for the quality and flavor combinations. Only get it if you just want to shovel food down your gastronomical hole. Hate doing poor reviews!!! This is only meant for the owners/managers to take note and fix it all, and create value for the customer.
