OMGosh! When I was 18 I had a job at Saks in Beverly Hills. Back than, they checked your appearance every day. Your clothes had to be pressed, your shoes clean and your hair looked styled and clean. If you did not pass inspection you were sent home. I loved working there though! When I saw the store I had to go check it out! We were immediately greeted with a warm smile by Alex. He was so cute and very helpful. He knew product and where to find it. He told us about sales and stayed close by in case we needed his help but not too close so that you feel like you're being watched. He was funny too. The store was large, beautiful and very very clean. While I tried on the cashmere sweaters , my daughter went after the business casual pants. She also got some cashmere sweaters. There had so many beautiful things that I said let's get these items and return later. Really I wanted to buy everything in that store. You feel like a sophisticated woman in Sak's clothes. Then when you have personnel such as Alex your time shopping is wonderfully complete. Go there and you will want to buy everything as well. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. They sold me a dress that had a broken zipper and unfortunately, I didn't notice it. Then, I couldn't return it because they said the item was defective. The manager literally walked away from me as I was trying to talk to her. The salesperson who took over because I guess the manager was too busy to deal with me told me I had to call the corporate number, which I did in the store. But, she gave me the wrong number. I received the number for a Saks credit card account. When I tried to tell the salesperson this, she said I must have dialed wrong. So, I put it on speakerphone and dialed the number again in front of her. When it connected to the same credit card company again, she was just dismissive and said, "Well, you have to email." (I went home and sent two emails, posted on their social media page, and finally found a real corporate phone number, and nobody cares, nor wants to be helpful. There is no resolution at all for this, just $90 wasted). As I was leaving, the salesperson in a very nasty, condescending tone said, "Have a nice day," and when I turned around, I asked her what her name was, as she wasn't wearing a name tag. She told me she didn't have to give me her name. I guess she wanted to dish out rudeness, but didn't want to pay the consequences for it, and from the reaction I've seen from Saks, they don't give a care in the world how rude their associates are, or how their customers are treated, so she's probably right, there won't be consequences. The entire time, every employee there was rude. For a place that doesn't even offer very good deals, it isn't worth it. They treat their customers like garbage, and their products are garbage. read more

Cold in general style / cold in staff attitude. I probably wouldn't have stopped in here at all if it wasn't for an eye-catching rack of workout wear. I don't do yoga, and am not out to impress anyone, but since I'm pursuing better health, I've come to enjoy leggings with stretch and compression. To shake up the power walking collection, I have added a couple of print options recently. Saks OFF 5TH has a bit of a strange layout, with mini departments visible through the bank of plate glass out front, but closed off within the store. I had to travel quite a distance horizontally in the store to get to the area I'd seen from outside. (More steps for the fitness tracker, right?) The workout gear / "athleisure" attire occupies one of those closed off sections. There were several options to choose from; in my size even! Sadly, none of the tops or light jackets were likewise in my size. One pair of print leggings it was. Off to find the checkout counter. The store is large, very large. It's divided between male and female fashions. The cash wrap lies in the middle, but set back from the doorway. It was late; around 8:30 PM. Dear Hubby and I were among the few customers in the store at that hour. Four employees were generally in the vicinity of the cash wrap, but none had greeted us at any time during our stay in their store. I waited (the only person in line) to be recognized and asked to come to a register. There were two possibly open, and the two cashiers seemed to be having an eyebrow-raising contest as to who would offer to help me. Poor customer service. I felt like they thought they were doing me a favor taking my payment. There are SO many great venues within the outlet center. I don't think I'll be rushing back to this one any time soon. read more

My wife and I have been looking all over many stores throughout the Outlets to find the perfect wallet for my wife. They had a decent selection at very reasonable prices, and the service we received was really good! We love Saks OFF 5th - and buy in the Beverly Hills branch all the time. Yesterday, I took my wife to the Camerillo outlet ready to spend a lot - but the vibe in this place is just unbelievable poor. I cared for their jewellery sale and wanted to check out some king baby stuff. It took me 20 mins to get the attention of anyone to show me things. The poor guy had little to no idea what he was showing and all alternatives he showed were not silver but light and cheap metal. Finally we tried to pay the wife's goods. Four people at check out. Two on the phone. One tearing apart boxes. One serving customers, unmotivated. We left our goods, wowed never to return. read more

**Disappointing Experience at Saks Fifth Avenue Camarillo Outlets** I recently visited the Saks Fifth Avenue outlet in the Camarillo Outlets, expecting to find a selection of high-end designer items. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. This store felt more like a glorified TJ Maxx or Ross, with very little in the way of true designer goods. If you're hoping to score some genuine luxury items, you're likely to be disappointed. Customer service gave me the option of mailing back for $10, or for free in the store. I choose the store and printed the special slip they gave me. This is a good spot for unique Men's designer clothing. I've found some Bruno Magli shoes for nearly 50% of the SRP, and they're a good source for Robert Graham shirts, also about half the price you'd see at most stores, albeit the size and style selection isn't reliable, so every visit is like a treasure hunt and can be hit or miss. If comparing this to the Neiman Marcus outlet store a few doors down, you'd be best advised to comparison price shop first. Generally Saks is much lower in price, but if you're looking for a specific style or size, you should check 'em both out before making a buying decision. The sunglasses selection at Saks is both good and there's some affordable designer eye wear in the $100 range. If you like designer blue jeans, and trendy T-shirts, they've got lots of 'em. The area that Saks lacks solid representation on is Men's accessories like wallets. Otherwise, if you're dressing for business, casual or cool, they have a wide array of guy's fashion for all ages and occasions. Like most factory outlets, the location isn't super convenient for those who live in the metropolitan city, but it's worthy of a drive a few times a year for a visit. read more

I've been here a few times. I must say the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. I truly appreciate this type of attitude especially at an outlet location where many people visit daily. 3 stars because I did not check out the clothing and because I saw the same purse at a TJ Max for $12 cheaper. Also, the shoes were not a great selection but maybe it's just my taste. I purchased Gucci sunglasses here that were at the Gucci outlet for $450 or so. I am very thankful for this awesome purchase! I can't resist outlet malls. They call to me, lingering there on the horizon, as I drive along the dusty road. So in my travels, I always manage to stop at an outlet (or twelve) and the Camarillo Outlets are just north of me, so I find myself wandering around there a lot. Off 5th is a great outlet for accessories. Yes, I said great. There are a lot of handbags there, and a lot of women's shoes, and a great selection of top quality sunglasses. Depending on the time of year you can find some pretty outstanding deals here, right now (late January) they're offering a BOGO promotion that's buy one get one half off, and all their clearance stuff is 50% off the lowest marked price- that's no joke! I uploaded a picture of some really amazing shoes I found here. They are LAMB, originally retailing at $405, just the one pair, in my size, my fashion destiny, sitting there and waiting for me, at $135. Love it. I with hold the fifth star because the clothing selection isn't great. They carry a lot of denim, and invariably there is always a ton of Ed Hardy vomit all over the front of the store. However, the other clothes are really hard to sift through, it's just long racks that the store pretends is organized by size. It's one of those situations where all the shirts are together and all the pants are together, but they aren't organized anymore than that- so a t shirt beside a suit jacket beside a beaded stole beside a turtleneck sweater. I purchased something online...it didn't work out. So I took the item back to this store to return it. I was only refunded my purchase price minus the shipping. I questioned the clerk and was told they don't refund shipping. I knew that to be incorrect but instead of continuing to question her knowing it wouldn't get anywhere, I left and called Saks.com. I explained what happened & was told they should have refunded me the full amount in store... There should have been no question about the shipping. I was told that the shipping fee is always credited back as long as the return is done directly IN STORE. On the other hand, if you choose to SHIP the item back for a return, you are NOT refunded the shipping. Clearly I understand the difference which is why I questioned the store clerk. The customer service online representative then called the store and asked to speak with the clerk... The clerk re-stated her stance that she would not be refunding me the shipping... At that point the store clerk was informed that this was not the SAKS proper policy. She continued to dispute this with the online representative... At that point the online representative thanked her and disconnected from the call. At the end of the day I was refunded my shipping fee but very disappointed knowing that this is not truly the Saks policy. I have shopped with Saks for many many years,...Saks Off Fifth & Saks. I have included a pic of my receipt to show the policy is even listed on the receipt. I will chose to shop at a different location from here on out. The representative informed me she would be escalating this issue as I wonder where the shipping fees truly go if they are not given back to the customer...?? read more

I only bother with the clearance racks and you can get really good deal, we're talking less than $100 for over $100 retail, I can dig that. Ok everyone. I am a pretty normal male that gets the itch and sometimes I shop for women's clothes. That said, I went shopping for dresses. Yes, size 14. After I had been in several other retail stores and had excellent interactions, I thought lets experience the best...... First, there customer service is outstanding. I was surprised. Anyway, I picked out 3 dresses from an ample selection I asked a coworker where I could try them on. She lead me to the women's dressing area. I actually did not get any ones name as there was a small team assisting everyone. Now, on dress number one or should I say gown, I could not get the back zipper up. Two coworkers assisted me and completed me on its fit and form for me. Dress number two. A different coworker asked me if I needed help and dress number three I handled myself. Bonus: Bras and panties are on a single wall in the dressing area. Great for up selling, semi privacy and they looked damn special. Great idea Sacks! Oh yes, you are the best! read more

While at Saks, I went to the dressing room and was informed that I could not bring my small bag of purchases from another store into the fitting room. I was told to place the bag on the outside doorknob. The only one attending this area was a clerk also performing other tasks. This area was very accessible to any amateur thief who could take this package very easily. I began to try on a shirt but was very nervous about leaving my package so exposed so I moved the package into the room. I was once again informed to place the bag outside the room. The Manager was called and did nothing but explain it was STORE POLICY. How short sighted. The point of this is that Saks seems to have more concern about their shoplifting problem than how they treat their customers. I have never been impressed with this company of small thinkers. Absolutely LOVE this store! Amazing selection of clothes all at really great prices. Every time I go there they have an amazing deal of buy 1, get 2 free, or something such as that. Whether you need work clothes (i.e. suits, dress shirts), or just nice date clothes (sweaters, tees), this place has it for you. I've only dealt with amazing people there, so I don't know about other peoples experiences. Don't forget to sign up for the "more" card, as it gives you a further discount. Pam Favor, Zach McDonell and Marianna were so helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I drove from Orange County out to Saks in Camarillo to take advantage of their Men's Event. I'm getting married in August and needed suits for my groomsmen. Pam and Zach were super helpful over the phone as we were trying to figure out sizes and availability. I finally got to the store around noon this past Saturday and walked out with seven Theory suits for amazing prices! I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised by this experience and will make Saks a routine stop during my travels between OC and SB. Horrible really unorganized. All bags locked to one another so if you want to see a bag you have to hold 5+ other bags. No one helped us out they would just walk back and forth and store is pretty empty. I was looking for someone to unlock the bags in order to buy it but no one was around. I like this place... but I liked it much better when it was in the old part of the outlets... it wasn't as "modern" but I got so many designer purses that were over $500 for $60 or less.... so you could get much better deals before....and lets face it, I like shopping but I need to feel like I'm getting a deal. :) Anyway, I did buy myself a purse here last January that I lusted after for ever! It's a pink Marc Jacobs (not the Marc by Marc Jacobs... but the actual Marc Jacobs line) purse with a gold chain strap and a heart cut out on the closure. Ahhh! Love this purse! Now, this is probably the best purse deal, I've ever gotten. The purse was a $1300 purse... when they brought it here...it was about $650...(still too expensive for me...) and then it was after christmas/new year and they had an extra sale and coupon...so I bought this purse as a birthday gift to myself for less than $200. Love Love Love that purse. Ahh! There are good deals to be had here sometimes... but now that it's all modern they're few and far between... but it can happen! (Like with the purse!) They do bring in designer clothing which is a huge plus and have a great selection of cashmere in the winter. :) read more

I Purchased two pair of shoes for my daughter for her job out of college. She lives out of the area, by the time she returned home and tried them on, one pair did not fit. The 30 return policy had been exceeded by two weeks. I took the item back to the store, The cashier who claimed he was the manager David Ryan, refused to allow for a return, exchange, or even a store credit. I explained to him the circumstances in which the 30 days had been exceeded. His overall demeanor and tone was condescending rude and incredibly unhelpful. For a retail establishment...and their Managment...to not allow me to exchange or a receive credit for an item that I cannot use.... this practice is nothing short of theft and fraud. I spent several hours researching and contacting Saks Fpdd 5th...customer service for help...to no avail. Finally, I contacted capitol one visa credit card...with whom I made the purchase, and filed a claim of fraud against sacks off 5th in Camarillo California. I even called the store back and asked for the name and phone number of the district manager....they refused to give me that information. This retail establishment does not deserve to serve our community. I will never give this corporate conglomerate my business. Shame on this employee, who had the opportunity to do the right thing...his job is customer service, and clearly chose to be obstinate And antagonistic. If anyone knows how to get through this maze of corporate bureaucracy so I can file a formal complaint please contact me. Buyer Beware.... read more

Decent selection. Mostly women's clothing with some men's but it looked like a bomb exploded as clothing was picked through and scattered all over. My best advice is to come earlier in the day (maybe once it opens) as I'm not sure they restock. Then it's not like rummaging through a garage sale when it becomes a mess at the end of the day. I didn't pick up anything but had my eye on a few cashmere winter coats. Pricing was okay but I didn't pull the trigger. Selection was a bit meh when I was there and because of my fatigue I wasn't so enthusiastic to search high and low on the evening I visited. This is a decent place to come for discount Saks brand names but you will have to pick through to find that great deal of the day! read more

I really like this place. I will actually often plan trips to the Camarillo Outlets specifically to check out the Saks. Compared to some other department outlet stores, this Saks is surprisingly well organized and clean. It's like walking into a regular Saks. I especially like their clothing and jewelry departments. And if you sign up with them, they will often send you coupons through the mail (like I need more reason to go up there). read more

I had an extremely distressing experience at checkout on Sunday February 22, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at SAKS Off 5th in the Camarillo (California) Premium Outlets on Sunday, yesterday. I was the only person standing in line for checkout and I stood maybe 6 feet away from the cash register. When it was my turn to approach the cashier she gave me stern look and actually snapped at me. Her finger pointed toward a very small roped off area, she looked back at me and said, "NEXT TIME! Use that area to stand in line for me. Shock was my reaction as I was stunned at the unprofessionalism and this cashier's behavior. I did not expect this at SAKS. As a professional person myself and feeling rather established as an adult and a SAKS customer I was offended. Would you be if it were you? Shortly afterward I took a quick snapshot of the cashier walking away from me. She was covering her face with her hand. Her awkward outfit and ordinary hair style will be enough to identify her in this in-store cell phone photo to management. Managers knew who she (was) and I had a friendly but assertive talk with 2 of these store managers before I left. By the way, I left my purchase at the cash register immediately deciding not to buy, I felt so bad. The managers agreed the cashier acted unprofessionally without a thread of understanding of her job. One manager said, "We will put her through re-training." The other agreed. I told the managers that wasn't enough, her personnel records need to reflect this event, and she needs to be disciplined for this. The whole time of this managerial conversation, the cashier was leering at me giving me a really disgusted look, still not understanding why I reacted and met with her managers.
