This my ultimate favorite place to grab Combination Fried Rice. It is made perfectly with a very large portion. Enough to eat for dinner and a late night snack. If you can refrain from eating it all in one sit down then you can also enjoy a nice lunch the next day. It has generous portions of chicken , steak , and shrimp. Saki has been my number one favorite sushi spot since early high school, and they have yet to disappoint! The Volcano Roll is my favorite and the salt and pepper tofu, or the vegetable tempura make great appetizers! If you aren't a sushi lover, they have the best fried rice on the coast! This was a strange experience. I came in for lunch, but was not in a rush. I had a salad, salmon skin roll, and rainbow roll. The food was excellent. No complaints about the food. Service was not bad, just kind of an odd experience. My drink order was taken quickly, then almost immediately I was asked if I was ready to order. Ok, it's lunch, most people are in a hurry, I get it. The waitress was nice, but I felt rushed to order. It took a while to get my food. Before I was halfway done with my lunch she placed the bill in front of me. However she was very nice. It was just a little strange. read more

We were told no wait for sushi when we walked in. We ended up sitting at the bar and waiting for service for 20 minutes. We flagged down our server and asked if we could order and the manager came by and told us it "wasn't our turn" to order yet. We walked out. So rude! You don't tell someone that. read more

Place is very nice and has a cool atmosphere. I especially like how the hibachi tables are behind a glass wall so if you're just dining regularly you don't smell like a garlic hibachi table for the rest of the day. The sriracha and garlic edamame is down right addictive! Even the clear soup had a solid flavor. The rock n roll was excellent. The eel sauce they use is just perfect. However I got a roll with "blue crab meat" and it was entirely too fishy and the actual meat was a weird texture unlike fresh crab meat. Over all the food is good (other than the blue crab in the rolls) but I gave this place only 3 stars because the bartender couldn't make a solid drink and the service was off. We were overly attended to before we were ready to order then when it was time to pay or bill no one was to be found. I'd be willing to give this place another chance given the food is pretty good and based on the assumption that this may have just been an off night for them. read more

Just left dinner. It was delicious! The main thing I would like to say is how wonderful the staff was. Our server (I think his name was Tyler) was constantly checking on us and getting random things we requested with a smile and kind words. He also constantly was refilling our water. Our chef at the grill was also very good and put on a good show with equally delish food. It was beautiful inside and very clean. The salad and soup was great. I use to eat here daily, but the quality was not the same so I quit going to Saki. I went the other day an got combination fried rice and it was excellent. I will try again today to see if the quality has improved consistently. read more

I eat here with my daughter a good but. I really like the Spicy Tuna Lover's Roll. I love their Spicy Mayo and that is what I put on the Tuna Roll. My friend had the Yum Yum Roll and she could not quit talking about it. My daughter had the California Roll and said it was better than anywhere else we have ever eaten. As a vegetarian family that has enjoyed other Japanese restaurants, we were underwhelmed here. We pieced together a meal from appetizers and with help from the waiter. Labeling or grouping vegetarian and vegan items on the menu would help. I was also surprised not to find a Hibachi veggie dish on the main menu. I have only eaten at a handful of sushi bars, a few here in the south. This one is top in my book. My fiance and I eat here regularly. I love there habachi grill. Steak and chicken all the way. Great service with a staff that enjoys working there. The sushi is top notch too. The price isnt cheap but i always leave feeling like i got what i payed for. (maybe its the fact we usually have a bunch of take home left over...ha ha) I would recommend eating here if your looking for somewhere different and enjoyable. Not your usual "Chinese MSG" buffets.
