Great service! Dreadful food. Not authentic in taste at all! The worst food experience ever! My bento had hard overcooked shrimp that was not jumbo. The rest was a fried nasty mess. The combination fried rice was awful, it had gross bland chicken in it with hard dry beef and tiny shrimp. Look at the tiny shrimp next to a piece of onion. The onion pieces were bigger than the shrimp. The manager said, "just pick the nasty dry and bland pieces out it's only five and give you a discount." This place should be called Suki(sucky). read more

We've been here a few times. The service is really good! We always get a good server. Very attentive! It's dated but still comfortable. It appears to be clean in the dining area. The bar is never open. Probably because they have no one to work it. The hibachi grills are in the back and always packed. The food is good. Not overly exciting or expensive. But consistent. This is a slightly upscale hibachi restaurant. Atmosphere is great. Ambience is quiet and romantic. I do have hibachi in a separate room to the right. The service was great. Appetizers amazing. The sushi is one of a kind. Everything tasted pretty fresh. It's a good place to bring for a first date. They also have another restaurant in Gulfport. I think it's called Koi. I've always enjoyed coming here, great service, nice atmosphere, and great food. You can't go wrong with Edamame with spicy garlic, Hamachi Kama whenever they have it, if not, you can eat the Hamachi Carpaccio. I got to try something new this time, the Yakitori chicken which was pretty good. For sushi, there's too many good choices but my favorite is the Miami Heat roll. Great presentation on the sushi rolls and the Hibachi is good choice if you want a show. read more

By far the best Japanese lunch you can get around this area. Prices are very reasonable, quality of food is very good, quantity of food is very good, and taste of food was wonderful. Our server was extremely efficient and accommodating. The three of us all enjoyed a Bento Box which we were very happy with. Chicken and Salmon Teriyaki were both good. We stopped here after a visit to the Ocean Springs beach. We arrived around 5:30 or 6 on a Friday night. Sake has hibachi tables and regular tables. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and prompt. My son had the chicken fried rice (delicious) and the green dragon roll. I had the salmon nigiri and California roll. The sushi was very fresh and perfectly prepared. I would highly recommend Saki for their sushi. read more

Pleasantly surprised! This restaurant is located in a strip mall in Ocean Springs. We were planning to eat In Pascagoula, but that restaurant was closed and my husband's friend suggested this restaurant instead. The restaurant closes at 8:30 on Saturday night, which seems crazy to me. Plan to get there by 7:00 to get a table and enjoy your meal. We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions. She suggested the most popular cocktail, Sinful Orange, so glad I was up to trying it. I had two, they were delicious! I ordered the ginger salad and ordered three rolls to share with my husband. Ocean Springs, Hail Mary and Spicy Tuna. The spicy tuna wasn't anything special, but the Ocean Springs and Hail Mary were Amazing!!! My husband ordered the Steak Teriyaki. Took my son for his birthday. Food is good. Love the chef with the tattoos. Super entertaining. The owner is a sour patch and does not smile. Really a buzz kill considering she is the face of the establishment. Other than that, would recommend for good hibachi. Just ignore her or better yet, smile really big like I did. Stopped in for all you can eat sushi during lunch. Decent menu choices for all you can eat. It's made to order which is a plus. The service was hit or miss. I had to stop the server to get her attention. I was trying to be respectful and only order a few pieces at a time to prevent waste, but in the future I will order a bunch at once and hope I can eat it all. At one point while we were looking over the sushi menu she came and grabbed 2 of the menus from us (our table had 4 in all) and she took them to the hostess stand. Got 6 different rolls and all of them were amazing, especially the special rolls!!!! 3 regular rolls were the California, Crunchy, and Crawfish rolls which were really good. Honestly this was probaly one of the most unpleasant restaurant expierence I had in a long time. We came in during the lunch hour and were seated promptly and were excited to try the food due to all the good reviews. We ended up ordering the bento lunch boxes with grilled salmon and teriyaki steak. Each bento box came with fried rice, egg rolls, and fried vegetables and california rolls with miso soup. When the food came out it looked very plain and not pleasant to eat. The steak had little to none flavor with teriyaki sauce drizzled over it as well as the salmon. The fried rice was just regular rice with soy sauce and vegetables and looked like it was cooked in batches just waiting to be scooped. The eggrolls deep fat fryer oil needed a oil change. We really wanted to like this restaurant but we just couldnt. read more

I would actually give Saki a 3.5 but that's not an option. The service and atmosphere were a solid 4 and the food was decent as well. I had a craving for sushi and Saki didn't disappoint. This is my first sushi in Mississippi so I am glad this restaurant is a five minute drive away. I ordered the crab puffs (basically crab Rangoon), pad thai, and a shrimp tempura roll. The sushi had good flavor but the pad thai was average at best. One big plus was that the pad thai was packed with plenty of shrimp and the tofu soaked up all the good Thai flavors. Overall I would say that I will definitely return to try more sushi varieties. read more
