Very friendly and cozy neighborhood coffee spot! Went early enough on a Saturday morning to enjoy the shop. Dirty Chai latte with oat milk hit the spot. I appreciated that their chai is not sweetened at all because you get to taste the depth of flavor of the chai. Thankfully our barista shared that hot tip. Also ... if you can't find the coffee shop on the left well it's because it's across the street. Look for it on the corner of a beige building. I am excited to go back and try their other coffees.

Cute and cozy shop with a neighborhood feel, perfect for these cold and rainy days. Great chai latte, decent espresso. I love that they had a decaf chai option! They serve Coava coffee if you're into that.

I've seen this coffee shop many times and finally had a chance to stop by. The location is on the smaller side but it's very cute and clean. Luckily I ended up getting a small table. The baristas were nice and friendly, service was fairly fast considering how many people were there when I walked in. I ordered my usual as I do everywhere I go; a vanilla iced latte. I found the coffee to be tasty but not as flavorful as I usually like, overall a solid latte option. They had some food menu options as well and the avocado toast looked delicious, I know this because the table next to me had ordered it. The only downside for me as someone who typically does work in cafe's is the lack of outlets to charge my computer. Totally fine considering the small location but I would come back again with a fully charged laptop or a journal! Overall cute location in a seemingly quiet neighborhood to sit and enjoy a nice read or chat.

I was visiting a church on a whim up in Portland and wanted to check out a coffee shop before the service started. I found this coffee shop within walking distance and decided to read and journal for a bit. It's quite small, and there isn't much indoor seating. I arrived early so thankfully I was able to find somewhere to sit, eat/drink, and journal. The inside did not have much lighting but I did like the vibe it, it felt slightly upscale rustic and cozy. The food nor service was particularly memorable, but should I ever be in that area again, I definitely would be open to stopping by this coffe shop !

Great quality coffee. Beans available for purchase. Oat milk and a couple other alternatives available. A few small tables to sit at plus bar top seating by the window. Pastries available. Staff were all friendly.

This neighborhood spot should be a coffee destination if you're even near the area. Friendliest, most creative baristas who knew so many customers and their kiddos by name. My friends and I were in town for a work trip and came by for my daily mocha fix. Deep rich drink that was the perfect temperature and kept me focused while I worked away. Then the craziest thing happened. I heard matcha and strawberry nesquick and I spun around to see them making a gorgeous layered drink. They asked if I wanted to try it - hell ya!! I savored every amazing sip and felt like I had won the lottery. Hope the matcha flight makes it to the menu dnd thanks for meeting as all my caffeine needs and then some.

Stopped by this coffee shop after visiting a nearby croissant place. The iced latte here is good - nothing fancy, just good espresso and milk combined. I do recommend this coffee place if you're in the area, but it's nothing to write home about and I wouldn't go out of my way just to come here. I was a bit bummed they ran out of the local flavored soda that day, but still a good coffee shop!

Locally owned and great coffee; works for me! I get my hair cut next store and afterwards usually treat myself to an iced mocha. baristas are friendly and love to talk about and explain the different coffees. They also have a small but delicious selection of pastries, muffins and cookies. If you want top notch coffee and pastries, get a pasty from Twisted a little further down the street and a coffee or tea here. The cafe has a clean and modern decor with a bit of industrial vibe. There are just a few chairs and tables inside with a couple of bistro tables and chairs outside as well. Parking on NE Broadway is sometimes tight so park where you can or across the street Which for some reason usually has open spaces.

Probably the most expensive lattes I've seen in Portland that aren't specialty (ie Abba). It was a well-done and tasty latte however likely won't return as can get similar quality for less money elsewhere. The scone I had was also quite tasty but had a significant amount of sugar on the top so after shaking and brushing off all the excess was pretty good. Place is quite small but we were still able to snag a seat but there isn't much room for the line to queue.

In town for a conference, and this spot was close to my hotel. Doesn't get any better! The space itself is quite small, but I was able to find a seat to work for a few hours. The baristas are top notch: creating art with coffee and friendly as can be. I had the Cardamom Spice Latte and loved every drop! Definitely stop by if you're in the area and want a good cup of coffee.

Great quality coffee, but this is not a place for lingering. Not much seating or snacks.

Sometimes they drop a DJ event. They were able to bring famous DJ François K for an evening of local DJs from 5PM to 9, then François K to 2. François K began his DJ journey in 1976 in NYC. Essentially it was a house party for well under 100 people with an international DJ at a very reasonable ticket price. Only in Portland. Only at Sonder. The door was polite and the crowd was polite. There were no unwelcome club advances. There was no overselling nonsense and readmission lines. There is an area outside to cool off and converse when the dance floor is steamy. It was fun to see a little Melbourne Shuffle break out! One of our previous CMs did some DJing and would have loved this event and the venue. It is also an update of the fern bar, with healthy plants doing well with the South facing window. There is some outdoor seating screened by a wood structure from the parking lot.
