January 2026 specialty drink menu
Andie R.

For the purposes of this review, please note my rating 3.5 stars. The space is cozy and inviting with decent number of seats. The two-tops are fairly snug together so it can feel like you're eavesdropping or being listened to. There's counter seating along one side which had some refreshing morning sun- when a couple seats opened up there, we moved and were very comfy. There are a couple of cozy chairs in the front window and some additional counter and lounge seating in an adjoining room. The drink quality and presentation were high quality and delicious. The cost of a 12oz latte ($7) with no special milk was higher than other cafes I've been to recently around Portland including places that create their own syrups for specialty drinks of the month. That said, I don't begrudge the cost of a masterfully hand-crafted, drinkable cup of art and that is exactly what I received. I think the cost stuck in my head because the welcome did not feel particularly warm at the register. They were having an animated conversation with the barista and I couldn't help but feel like we were inconveniencing them by saying good morning and trying to order. When we picked up our orders, the barista was warm and friendly. Overall, it's a delightful spot in an equally lovely neighborhood.

Cafe de Olla + bagel

Wallflower is a cute coffee shop on Division and 31st. They've got a 70s-ish vibe with a Latinx flair. There is lots of seating, but also a lot of people doing work from the café so it can get busy with folks reading, chatting, studying, on their laptops. I got their seasonal special - the Café de Olla - as well as a day-old bagel with salmon schmear cream cheese. It was great. Looks like they switch out their specials a couple times a year. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Lately they've been doing fun events like a latte art , speed dating, pop-ups from different bakers or wine makers.

Amazing! So darn cute truly, loved our visit. Staff were simple and kind. And that iced oat strawberry rhubarb matcha was.... PHENOMENAL Already wanting another and wishing there was one in Tucson. Cute space. Pastries available. Bathrooms and WiFi too. Plenty of seating! Inside and outside

8oz Latte

I had an 8 oz latte, which was a good size for what I wanted. I like how they have more options for sizes. The latte was good! They frothed almond milk very well! It was impressive.

Coffee was delicious, with homemade hazelnut. Service was fantastic as well. My only gripe is asking for it to be a bit sweeter and they charged me for an extra squeeze of their sauce. It's a little shop in the bottom of a an apartment complex, it's super cute with comfy seating, made me want to move to the building.

Super cute spot, great for meeting up with friends or working! And lots of delicious looking pastries. Love the eclectic decor and fun bright colors. Parking is a bit of a pain and there's a bunch of construction nearby right now (November 2025) but great coffee spot on division. Baristas were really nice too.

Two iced lattes, a matcha strawberry scone, poppy seed loaf, and chocolate earl grey donut

Great coffee! I visited the downtown location before and was disappointed but the division street location is great! The staff was super nice and the decor was cute. They must have the same baked goods supplier as snow bunny, because the earl grey chocolate donut was perfect Edit: My mistake, the worse location I was thinking of was Wild Rose Coffee in Downtown Portland. Since this is the only location of Wallflower, the company gets a perfect 10/10 from me!

Such a great spot on Division -- loved the ambiance! It was pretty busy. The bagel was so yummy, and while my coffee wasn't as warm as I wanted it to be, it still tasted really good!

This place is so cute! The seats are cozy, and the whole atmosphere is such a vibe. The latte I had was amazing -- perfectly balanced and smooth. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

For hospitality, drinks, and Yummy Pastries, this was a hit! It was nice meeting the employees. They were patient with my drink order. I was hungry, and there were only a few pastries today, but they were getting ready to close. One of the best iced lattes I've had in a while and they make all of their syrups in house. It's really hard to find a good chocolate syrup that isn't from one of the big brands. I really dislike most of those. The problem today was the volume of the stereo. It's really cool when a shop is playing records, but it was way too loud and thumpy.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood! Great vibes, nice baristas. We usually get the decaf and it's still really good. They seem to never have food when I go but one day I will try that too.

lame canary - pear, plum, rosemary + clove

In the prior Dapper and Wise location, I'm glad to see another coffee shop occupy the space! Division has its fair share of great coffee and Wallflower will make my next coffee venture decision all the much harder! They have their own beans and offer seasonal specials with housemade syrups. I got their lame canary latte - pear, plum, rosemary + clove with oatmilk. I couldn't really taste the flavors per say, but it had an overall profile of sweet, spiced fall drink. It was cozy and warm. They also have a wide array of tea selections and a few select pastries. There is plenty of seating for getting some work done and there is also a fireplace in the adjoining room! Perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the Portland winter. SE Division is one of my favorite food and coffee streets in Portland, and Wallflower will for sure keep me coming back!

The inside of this place was so freakin cute. A lot of people were working, which I think makes the perfect space. There was a fireplace and prefect music to enjoy your drink and get stuff done. I got a seasonal matcha latte, it was pretty good and loved that it was different. I don't think I'd order it again but the fun is trying new flavors. I asked the worker a few questions about the menu, but seemed like they didn't know much -- but totally fine, I think its a chill place (get your coffee and go!). Ordered: Fleetwood from Seasonal Winter 2022 Menu (cranberry, ginger + cinnamon matcha latte)

Great service from friendly barista. I ordered the Chocolate Jesus and my kid had the Arabic People's Latte. Both drinks were unique and superbly delicious with cardamom accents. I would have ordered another round but I didn't want to be a jittery maniac for the rest of the day. I'm not a Portland resident, but I do live in the PNW. Tōv will always be my first stop when passing through the Rose City.

I've been here quite a few times and have really enjoyed the Aribic People's latte with its strong cardamon overtones, the Chocolate Jesus and today, the Mucho Calliente, which promises a chili infusion, and cinnamon infused espresso with dark chocolate! But wait..., oh no, I forgot to ask for oat... this is probably (certainly) dairy. Argh! Sorry, I have no Viking blood and can not digest cow milk. I would rather battle the aforementioned Viking before I'd endure the results of ... dairy! So, I brought my drink up fully prepared to pay for another and everyone there, EVERYONE, in almost unison, refused to take my payment. They kindly and quickly made another and... oh... spicy indeed, but chocolatey and balanced! One of the best spicy mochas I've had anywhere ... and I am an absolute Spella snob and proud of it! Inside secret: Don't miss out on the great selection of truly authentic Egyptian foods and pastries, as well as some really nice necklaces and earrings. If you need that piece to pull your whole Nefertiti look together before going out for a Saturday of dancing and fun... this is your hidden gem!

The Experience: I visited Golden Hour with a friend after taking a break from thrifting clothes around the Hawthorne neighborhood. What stood out: Food: I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with oatmilk. The presentation was gorgeous with layers of colors and textures. The drink was a bit sweeter than my usual taste but tasted high quality and refreshing. The crunchy strawberries on top were a yummy surprise. Ambiance: Golden Hour is quite small and sound carries. The workers talking to eachother were fairly loud. If I am in the area in the future, Golden Hour will be on my list to stop at!

I placed my order and the barista let me know about a vegan cold foam alternative. The drink was great and the matcha paired nicely with everything in the drink including pandan, coconut flakes, and vanilla. The interior was clean and there were plenty of places to sit. Lots of people hanging out in the shop, some working, some talking, but it seemed like a good spot to get some stuff done. There was music playing that set a welcoming mood. Overall, highly recommend if you enjoy flavored lattes.

I had always wanted to try good coffee as I pass by it often. I finally decided to take the leap…read moreafter reading a pleasant review of their strawberry matcha. Their shop is very curated and is definitely has a "recently here because of gentrification vibe." However, I know it's been in Portland for a while and locals swear by it. With shops like these I find it easy to focus and work. The minimalist and industrial decor is a great place for adhd brains like mine. I was warmly greeted by someone at the register. I was interested in so many choices on their matcha. Horchata iced coffe, orange latte, strawberry Ube matcha. I asked the barista if they do exchanges or remakes for drink if the customer dislikes what they ordered. She mentioned they have a NO REMAKES policy. I knew it was time to lock in instead of trying something Willynilly. She was super patient with me as I wondered what to get and discussed my hesitations. She let me sample a tiny amount of the strawberry uber syrup and lavender to make my decision and it helped. I ended up getting and iced lavender matcha and didn't regret it at all. It's been hard for me to find good matcha in Portland and they didn't disappoint. The syrup was blended in well. The flavor of the matcha wasn't too grassy, bitter or powdery. I'm sad it's a seasonal drink because I'll Miss it. I also got an almond croissant, which was good but not mind blowing. I think I'll try the banana bread next time. They have a bathroom, 1 booth, bench seating and wall seating. It would be a bit of a challenge to bring a group larger than 3 here as they're small and busy. Maybe if you sat outside. Glad I gave this place a chance :)
