Kaitlynn is friendly and takes her time to explain to you what she is doing and why which I love. This is not the first cherry angioma I have had removed, so I know that when the procedure is performed correctly, it is typically removed the first time. From the moment I arrived, the appointment was treated as a follow-up visit. In my view, this was not a follow-up; it was a correction of an unsuccessful procedure. Despite this, I was required to pay for another office visit. I do not consider this fair or ethical. I expected the clinic to take responsibility for a treatment that did not achieve the intended result and to show greater consideration for its patients. I have been a patient of this clinic for several years, but after this experience, I have decided not to return. I am sharing this review so others can be aware of my experience and make an informed decision.

We recently had a new patient appointment for my husband after dealing with some concerning skin…read morespots that needed to be evaluated. We were finally able to move forward with getting answers, and we are so thankful we chose this office. Brittany was wonderful. She was thorough, took the time to answer all of our questions, and made sure we understood the next steps. Her communication and professionalism really helped ease our concerns. My husband needed several biopsies done, and if you've ever had a skin biopsy, you know the numbing process can be one of the most uncomfortable parts. The medical assistant was amazing. She did everything she could to keep him calm, explain what was happening, and make the process as quick and comfortable as possible. The office itself was very clean, and the entire staff was welcoming and kind. Going through something as stressful as skin cancer evaluations can be overwhelming, but this team made us feel like we were in good hands. We are very happy we chose this office for my husband's skin cancer care and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and knowledgeable providers.

Whether you're looking for medical dermatology services or high-quality skincare treatments, they truly offer a comprehensive range of care. It's clear that everyone works together to provide exemplary patient care. A special thank you to Dr. Kimberly Cook. She consistently goes above and beyond for her patients, taking the time to listen, explain treatment options, and ensure you feel comfortable and well cared for. Her expertise, kindness, and genuine dedication make all the difference. If you're looking for exceptional dermatology care in Gilbert, I can't recommend Desert Sky Dermatology and Dr. Kimberly Cook highly enough!

Paradise Valley Dermatology bills patients for added service charges without notice even if there…read moreis no change in the services provided. - Paradise Valley Dermatology has eliminated many of the front desk support staff. Call wait times are lengthy and it is nearly impossible to actually get a hold of anybody in the office itself. - Paradise Valley Dermatology now charges an office fee for each visit. This is on top of your treatment fees - even for chronic ongoing or autoimmune diseases. The reason provided by the front desk manager is they need to rediagnose your condition at EVERY appointment- even for life-long incurable issues undergoing existing treatment with their office. Depending on your insurance, this office fee can exceed $300. Many insurances will NOT cover this additional charge. - Dr. Blair - after more than 30 years, is no longer with Paradise Valley Dermatology!!! (Probably because of the awful office manager and her terrible attitude). - Kenan Arkawi is also no longer with Paradise Valley Dermatology!!! I found this out two days before my appointment when I was offered an alternative time with a physician I had never met. - Two practitioners leaving the practice in such a short period of time, combined with a significant reduction in the office support staff has led to a sharp decline in Paradise Valley Dermatology's ability to effectively manage patients. - The front office manager does not like patients. She's rude, condescending, unhelpful, and does not care if long time patients leave the practice due to her behavior. It's easy to understand now why so much of the support staff has quit or left the practice. I'd put her name in here, but I've never actually seen this manager at the office before today. I'll add it later if I can get it from the escalation teams. Recap: please avoid this office at all costs. The quality in service and care has gone down significantly. And did I mention the awful front desk manager??

I LOVE Dr. Price. She's absolutely fabulous. And she takes my awful insurance (Healthnet - worse…read moreinsurance ever). She takes her time with you; very knowledgeable; a total sweetheart and doesn't over prescribe. Often Dermatologists will rush, trying to fit in as many patients as possible. Dr. Price was relaxed and really listened. She's popular so it can take time to get an appointment. Ask to be put on the cancellation list. I got in much earlier by doing this.

They do not seem to be knowledgeable in how insurance works and how medications get covered. You can tell that by reading some of the comments here that this has gone on for some time. I have had 2-3 instances now in which I leave a voicemail, no return call, and the office claims they were never received. That cannot and should not happen over and over. It is difficult to actually speak to someone at the office and patients are left no choice but to leave a voicemail. It is frustrating and time consuming to for the patient to constantly leave messages without any follow up from the office. The response is typically "our office is really busy." Not the patients problem and our lives are busy too. Most of us don't just sit around waiting to call the dermatologist. We have jobs and lives too, I personally find that to be a poor response to a problem. If the office is "too busy" to respond then either more staff is needed or a different system to address that part of your practice.
