Daniel was very efficient, on time, affordable, knowledgeable, helpful, and fast. I have peace of mind that the repairs were done successfully. A separate dedicated GFCI circuit for the garage was tripped by another contractor using a high powered floor washing machine. I didn't realize the difference between the separate breakers OR where the reset outlet was in the garage. It was on the same line as my hot water heater and was very inconvenient and stressful. He tested everything, reset it, and educated me about how to manage it in the future. I'm looking forward to having him back to install an EV charger and upgraded circuit. Well done! Thanks again! read more

I used Sagan for EV charger installation in my new home. Everything went super smooth. Andrey was very responsive and flexible to work with. Daniel came in on time and did an AWESOME job read more

I moved into a 2003 home with virtually no lighting. I was unsure of what to add to make it look more modern. Andrey came out for my estimate, and I was immediately impressed. He has the eye of an interior designer. He helped me plan out the right amount of can lights for my space, and he agreed to do it in stages so that it would fit my budget. I appreciate his patience and thorough eye. I spoke with two other electricians, and we ultimately chose Sagan because Andrey was very modern in his design, and they were able to schedule quickly. We are very pleased with the results. read more

Great experience with Sagan. I was asking for quotes from different electricians to get a level 2 wall charger installed and Sagan was the quickest to respond and send me a quote. Went on their website, filled outsome info, they reached out via text and asked some info, I sent the info, and boom got a quote back. They sent a proposal with the estimate, I approved it, got scheduled at a convenient time for me, and the installation process was smooth, quick, and professional. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

We had Sagan Electric install a wall charger for our Tesla, replace the electric panel in our 38 year old house, and take care of a few other misc electric issues. They were very pleasant to work with, stayed in good communication and showed up when they said they would. Their price was competitve. We were very happy with the interaction and would recommend them. read more

Sagan Electric provided excellent service with installation of a hardwired EV charger - the whole thing was done within ~ 1 week of my initial inquiry which was incredible. In addition to a quality outcome, I was impressed with how facile they were with the handling of the permitting and rebate process which they made a breeze. While they were here working on the EV charger, they were also able to help sort out an additional problem in my kitchen where a GFC outlet kept getting tripped at a great price. I was impressed with their response times, friendliness, and professionalism. Will definitely go back to them with further electrical needs. read more

EXCEPTIONAL! I searched for years for a trustworthy, timely, professional electrician to help me upgrade the breaker box in my older East Sac bungalow. Sagan Electric is the one! They did an amazing panel upgrade plus ran additional circuits for EV, stove, etc. They also handle all SMUD rebates plus take care of all permits and inspections. Our experience with Sagan Electric was extremely professional and problem free. Communication and customer service was fabulous, which is high on my list for rating businesses. We had a car charger installed and the guys who came out were professional, polite, on time and they cleaned everything up once they were done. Their back office gal, Dana was extremely helpful getting all the paperwork taken care of. She was a customer service pro! We would use this company again and will refer them to all our friends. read more

These guys upgraded our panel, installed a EV charger and ran a few new circuits in summer of 2024. We haven't had any issues. They were super fast, scheduling was on time and they were the most affordable. Would definitely use them again for any electrical work. read more

I spoke with Vasiliy at Sagan Electric after reaching out to several contractors and waiting on quotes. He stood out immediately--rather than push for a service call, he took the time to walk me through a few quick DIY tips over the phone. His advice worked perfectly and saved me a significant amount of money--and more importantly, time. Had I gone with another contractor, SMUD would've had to shut off power to address the main breaker, and I'd be stuck waiting on a city permit before it could be restored. With two young kids and summer heat, that would've been a nightmare without AC. Highly recommend Sagan Electric. Will be calling them first for future work. read more

Sagan electric did a great job and at a fair price, also scheduled asap and showed up on time and got job done in a timely manner. I will use them from now on! They added circuits and replaced our whole panel. read more

Sagan replaced our outdated breaker panel (required by insurance) and did a great job. They were super responsive and gave a very very reasonable quote for the job. When the city inspector came to confirm that everything was up to code, he made a point of saying that Sagan always does great work. Highly recommend! read more

I am GREATLY impressed with the speed and professionalism of Sagan Electric. Vasiliy responded to me almost immediately and was able to put me in touch with his field man Igor within hours of my initial request. Igor came out to my house later that afternoon for a site walk and completely understood my request and requirements to install EV Chargers and an additional receptacle for my RV. The estimate was about where I expected it to be and I gave the green light to proceed. In text message that same evening Igor said he could have his crew at my house the next day bright and early at 6am. WOW! Sure enough the truck rolls up at 6am and they get the job done. The crew was humble and very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. There was no mess left over and they took the time to make sure everything was cleaned up and put away as it was when they got there. I highly recommend Sagan Electric for any of your electrical needs if you are in the Sacramento/Elk Grove area. Communication is outstanding compared to any other contractor I have ever worked with. You won't be disappointed. This review is based entirely on my real life experience with Sagan Electric for services they performed on 7/27/23. read more

Sagan Electric was one of 9 Electrician services that came out to review our panel upgrade project and provide a quote. We needed our (very outdated) Zinsco panel upgraded to 200amp with whole home surge protector, and an 8ft support mast installed on the roof (and bonding, grounding, etc). I was very impressed with Vasiliy's knowledge of electrical panels, requirements as he explained the full scope of the project very clearly, setting expectations from the gate. After getting quotes from several other electricians, we considered many things: Communication, reliability, knowledge, experience, compliance, and cost. Vasiliy and team checked all these boxes, and we never wondered what's next, or what was needed from us. Sagan Electric's pricing was very competitive, and communication was consistent throughout the entire project from planning, executing and follow up. Project day is here, and the team is on time, Vasiliy lets me know of the requirements, timeframes of power outages, and when they should be done. They cleaned up their work, labeled everything and the entire process was effortless handled by true professionals. Very friendly and polite team too! We're already planning our next project with Sagan Electric, and our family has found our new electrician! read more

These guys have been fantastic. Just to update my earlier review from exactly one month ago, in the meantime, they have helped guide me thru the utility rebate process, and also to get the required inspections completed. I don't usually give anyone a full FIVE stars (because there is always room for improvement, right?), but this place absolutely deserves it. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended. read more

We entered the electric car world recently and had Sagan Electric install chargers in our garage. Vasiliy from Sagan Electric was knowledgeable and answered my questions promptly. They seem to do a lot of EV charger installs so that gave me confidence. The whole process from permit application, to install day, to work quality, and post-install instructions was great. In summary, excellent service: professional, responsive, and quality work. Recommended! read more

My house electrical panel completely went out, so I looked online and found Sagan electrical with some of the best reviews on yelp. They answered the phone at night. Had a guy out here in the morning, and I agree to their terms by noon, which were very fair. The next morning they had pulled the permit at SMUD and we're on their way out to my house to get started. It took 2 days from the time my panel box shorted out and SMUD restored power. The company is professional, very clean. They label each circuit in the new electrical panel box. Added new trim and painted it so it matches my house. read more

I am beyond thrilled with the lighting work that Vasele and his crew from Sagon Electric did for my home. I now have beautiful recessed lighting, bathroom fans in both bathrooms, relocated ceiling fans, new light fixtures, and plugs in various locations. The care they took including covering everything with plastic, wearing shoe booties, and cleaning up were the little details I appreciated. Vasele is true to his word and his team is hard working. Most importantly, they are safe and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them and encourage you to hire them for any electrical needs. read more

Troubleshooting a tripping electrical breaker on a sump pump circuit and propose a solution. The electrician determined the two pumps required separate dedicated circuits and developed a proposal and provided a quote for the service. Although the quote was in line with most all the others, we ultimately went with another company who we had worked with in the past. Nevertheless I would recommend Sagan Electric based on our experience with the diagnosis and proposed solution. read more

Yesterday, I submitted a Yelp service request to solicit estimates for two simple electrical projects at our home (installing a larger 80" ceiling fan and fixing a light switch). Several electricians responded right away, including Vasiliy from Sagan. Of all the electricians I communicated with, Vasiliy was the most professional--he thoroughly read the description in my request, asked the pertinent questions, and provided me with an accurate estimate. We confirmed the time and date and he was right on time this morning at 11:00 a.m. Vasiliy did a great job on both of our projects and we highly recommend him without any reservations! The new ceiling fan looks great and the switch is now fixed! Thank you! read more

Great job done by Sagan Electric! Installed EV Chargepoint Charger on the side of the house for my Ford Lightning (that had been sitting on a 4% charge for two weeks. Haha!). We have now used Sagan Electric three time...Each time we received top notch quality work...affordable... We had a bathroom fan installed n kitchen fan replaced today, we are beyond satisfied with the workmanship of both employees that came out. One came went out of his way on his own time to help with our breaker panel. They were both friendly, quick, tidy, educated, answered our questions willingly. I appreciate them and their professionalism Both were also careful with shutting doors behind them knowing we have cats. It's the little things. Awesome group of people. read more

Shopped around a few different vendors as I was looking to get a Level 2 charger installed for my EV. I did as much research as I could in terms of what I needed, from an electrical standpoint to equipment to logistics/paperwork for permits and rebates, but working directly with Igor and Dana from Sagan made it really easy. Igor is very knowledgeable on charger options and went the extra mile to consult with experts who advised on the best option to install to get the permit approved by the City. Dana was also very helpful on the back end, facilitating invoices and paperwork for rebates with the city and with my power company. Both were very responsive on telephone and email as well. Great experience, highly recommend! read more

Incredible experience with Sagan. They recently installed a new external outlet at our house. Response time was swift; the work was high quality; and the price was extremely reasonable. After reading the reviews we requested for Sagan Electric to come out for a quote. They were by far the BEST of the four companies we called. They arrived on time, extremely respectful of our no shoe policy in our home. They left their work area clean. They even put in new switch plates where they were missing throughout our home with no extra charge. We will definitely be calling them back to upgrade our kitchen lights! Best best part of the experience was them thoroughly educating us along the way. Definitely get your work done through them! You won't be disappointed read more

I am impressed with the professionalism, punctuality, and knowledge given by Igor from Sagan Electric. Igor showed up at my place at the prearranged time. He took a quick look at the electrical panel, gave me a few options on how the installation was going to get done, and prices, and answered my questions and concerns flawlessly. He even set up a same-day appointment with one of the technicians for the installation. While I was waiting for the electrician to come, I had the chance to interview other technicians from other companies. Some of them would tell me the installation plan, but their services were too overpriced. Some others would offer extra stuff to be installed, such as breakers, or power surges, and even offered to change the whole electrical panel to a bigger one. Based on that I was already sold on the idea that SAGAN ELECTRIC was the right choice. But wait, it got much better. Alex showed up at my door, introduced himself, and was ready to get things done. He answered some of my installation questions for future upgrades. Alex explained the installation process, labeled the new breakers, and even added a rubber bushing to a sloppy installation done by someone else. Alex has 30 years of experience as an electrician, and he really knows his stuff. What else can I say besides the expected professionalism and the fast service!! I got a discount for the job done. I would definitely use their service again and again for any major electrical projects. I definitely recommend this company and its crew for their professionalism, service, and price!!! One more thing, they had no problem taking any type of payment even checks. read more

Best Electrical Service in Sacramento!!! After calling multiple electricians around town Sagan was by far the most reasonable and the most professional. I needed 6 fans rewired with new romex and 3 of them needed to be routed to a switch. In addition I had canned lighting installed in one room and all the old can lighting was replaced throughout the house with energy efficient LED's. They even fixed a few plugs that were not working and installed smart switches for the fans and canned lighting that I had purchased. All of this work was done for an extremely reasonable price and the quality is excellent. If you need an electrician call Sagan Electric. read more
