I reached out to Fiction Electric for our EV charger install. Saheed immediately came back to my message with estimates, requests for photos and other questions. After a poor miscommunication for our first appointment ( on both our parts) , he immediately reached out to fix the issue. We rescheduled and he and Sean came out promptly and happily. They worked quickly and were not only self-sufficient (they didn't even need water!) , they were professional and super friendly. Our charger had to run 90 ft from the back of the house and Saheed only charged us a tad more after I measured only 80 ft (oops!) when I sent the original request. I needed to add a 240V, 50A socket for changing my kitchen range from gas to electric. Reading several reviews, I picked Fiction Electrician for a quote. Saeed promptly contacted me, asked right questions, and gave me an initial quote, plus offered to come by to take a look at the project. Saeed came on time, and gave me pros/cons of routing the wire through the attic or ground level. He is well-versed with all the local codes, something I did not observe with another company that gave me a quote that morning. Based on that, even though his quote was $100 more, I went with him. And I am really glad I did that! Saeed and Sean showed up right on time on Saturday, and meticulously followed all the codes (e.g. location on the socket cannot be below 18 inches from the ground), ensured that the electrical conduits were neatly tucked in and anchored at proper distance, and everything was spick and span when they left. Great experience. The bedroom ceiling light/fan stopped working after a pop sound. I was worried about electrical issues so was hoping someone could check on it soon. This electrician was able to check on it very quickly and checked the breaker box, the light switch, and the wiring to the ceiling light before letting me know it was the light/fan. I went to pick a new one up and he installed it that day. And his cost for all this was very reasonable. Request was for installing a new 240v circuit for a new range. He was able to come out when we needed him. I consider myself an experienced DIY guy. I was able to work with Saeed to determine the best way to install the circuit, but his knowledge of how best to install was educational for me. Reminded me while it was best to hire a professional!
