For some reason my Tesla Model 3 has been a magnet for other drivers to rear end at traffic lights and stop signs, including making tight turns when I'm parked and they lock their rear wheel well with my front bumper in parking lots. This was before this year's assaults on Cyber Trucks and various Teslas believe it or not. At Sagamore Collision, a Tesla certified shop, Charlie is the lead where Tesla's are concerned. His friendly, stellar, professional performance is the reason I continue to return after every unfortunate mishap. Eddie has been great as well in addressing my concerns when Charlie has been busy. The staff is also incredibly friendly, professional and reliable. I cannot recommend Sagamore enough for your auto body needs whether it's a Tesla or any other brand. Do not go here. After they failed to properly inspect my car following an accident, they became hostile when I questioned them. I paid approximately $9,000 for body work on a car worth about $14,000, and they kept the vehicle for a month while repeatedly failing to return my calls about its status. When I finally received the car back, it immediately had multiple warning lights, including a low-coolant warning. I called them as soon as I got the car back and was told that they had filled all of the fluids. The car later stopped running completely, and I had to have it towed back to their shop. Instead of investigating why the car stopped running shortly after being in their possession for a month, they told me, "You need to get this car out of here," and claimed the problem was unrelated to the accident, even though I had specifically told them that there was liquid all over the ground when the car was hit. They claim to be a full-service body shop, yet they did not even write or provide a repair order documenting what they supposedly determined was wrong with the car or why they believed it was unrelated to the accident. Apparently, this completely separate problem just mysteriously happened at the exact same time. Even more concerning, after the car was towed back, the fluid warning lights that had been illuminated were mysteriously no longer showing. This came after the owner had already told me that he "just wanted to get paid" and did not want the car there, despite receiving a cashier's check for the full bill approximately one week after the vehicle first arrived because I offered to source the used part that he supposedly could not get for a month (and charged me for a new part). I was also told that I would receive a check for my trouble, but when I later mentioned it, they denied ever saying that and accused me of making it up. When I questioned the condition of the car, that they knew would be coming back, and told me I could have it sent in, and then told me "get it out there" upon prompt pick up and questioning why they talk to people the way they do, an absolute animal of a man I had never spoken to before called me rude, told me he knows me and then told me that he knew where I lived. Whether that statement was intended to intimidate me or simply creep me out, congratulations you're as unprofessional, angry, and classless as they come, I guess threatening women is easier than doing your job and standing behind your work. No customer should pay thousands of dollars, receive a car that is not in working condition, and then be made to feel unsafe for asking questions and expecting the vehicle to be properly checked. The car will now have to be properly diagnosed and fixed by another shop. I highly doubt had we went through the insurance company that this would have been the case. read more

To Eddie & Everyone at Sagamore, I want to thank you for such a wonderful job performed on my white Ford F-150 Limited. I treat my vehicles with the upmost pride, even this one which is my daily driver. You can't tell any work was done to it, which is what you want from a collision shop. But you went above and beyond. You detailed my truck and left 2 containers of touch up paint in the cup holder. When it started raining, the water beaded on all the paint, which means it was waxed during the detailing. Hands down the best auto body shop on Long Island. Chris the service manager at Oyster Bay BMW recommended the shop and I couldn't be happier. The shops very professional and accommodating. I called to set up an appointment and, Nicole told me all I have to do is fill out some paper work and my rental will be ready! She kept her word it was a painless experience I gave the shop permission to deal with the insurance company and from that point they took total control. I didn't have to do a thing. For Eddie and Joe they are the best! They promised me the car will look better then the day I got it! They kept there word you couldn't tell the entire driver passenger side quarter panel was smashed in, they also repainted my entire rear bumper which had two license plate marks on it! So now the car looks perfect! It took them two days to detail the car inside and out now the paint just pops you see the metallic crystals even from a distance! Vehicle was towed to Sagamore collision with a Broken passenger side axle. Driver dragged my vehicle onto the flat bed in park never put the car in neutral which of course broke the driver side axle and a lot of other components and stole items out of vehicle. This business should not be operating. I got water in my car and needed it towed early in the morning. Unfortunately I called these crooks and they were more then happy to tow my car but then tried to claim my car was totaled and would not be able to be repaired. They wanted me to abandon the car to them and were very pushy to do so, trying to give me an 1100 dollar bill for two tows and a week of storage which I confronted as dishonest and was met by the excuse that "two bills got mixed up." They act as if you are an idiot, as unfortunately my insurance did not have any interest in the claim. Upon hearing this they tried to force me to leave the car there with them by giving me an extremely high bill. They attempted to fool me in order to steal my car, luckily I was able to realize that the car wasn't irreparably damaged and payed 880 dollars to get it out of there. My mechanic was able to get the engine to start in a day, leading me to believe that they knew they could easily fix my car but instead tried to take advantage of me. read more

I read the reviews and was a little apprehensive to bring my car there, but then noticed only 3 poor reviews and I see hundreds of cars coming and going from this place, if so bad why is it still there. The place is close to where I do some business, so I brought my Audi 6 there for a touch up, get out some minor dents, repair a damaged grill and re-powder coat the rims. Just got my car done at Sagamore Auto Body. Very friendly people, but don't be fooled. They milk the insurance company like no other. Had minor damage to my car but wrote up a super high bill for the insurance company. They didn't even replace/fix 70% of the stuff they billed for. Car takes forever to be completed. Each time you call them for an update "car is in paint and going to be reassembled", when the car is clearly sitting on their lot, untouched. They think you are a fool and don't know whats going on. I would stay away from them for their dishonesty. read more

I have to tell you all these guys are great! I dealt with Gary and his assistant Nicole who were both very helpful. I dropped off my car they had a rental waiting for me and had my car done in a little over a week. they came in under the estimate and when I picked up my car it looked like it just came out of the showroom! They even fixed a few scratches I had on my car that had nothing to do with the accident.
