I am very happy that I switched to this doctor office. My last doctor took forever to see me and just for a check up it was so annoying. I came here expecting the worse since I experienced the worst w/ my previous doctor. I had a doctor's appt. i waited 15 mins in the packed lobby & then my name was called. I went into the back and spoke to a kind medical assistant w/ a sweet smile. She took my bp and information on why I came in to see the doctor. Then Dr. Safvati came in and he's definitely a fresh breath of air. He is such a genuine person and very much into detail. He understood my needs and was down to business about getting my meds to me. Terrible office. The employee who answers the phone and states she is the office manger Ana is no help. All she does is laugh when you kindly request things and states she never received anything. Dr. Kamran Safvati is the primary care physician for both of my parents, and we are extremely grateful to have him. Anytime there is an issue or concern, I call his office and immediately receive the help we need. The office is very responsive and supportive. My father absolutely loves Dr. Kamran Safvati -- he is very knowledgeable, kind, and always has a great attitude. I also want to give a special thank you to the entire staff, especially Anna. I don't have complete knowledge about insurance processes, and Anna always takes the time to explain everything and help me patiently. The staff is incredibly kind and caring -- Katayoun, two other young ladies whose names I unfortunately forgot, and Firoozeh Specialist Nurse ,They all truly care about patients and make a big difference. When Dr. Safvati did my Botox he left me with a permanent red dot on my forehead. I made an office visit to show him and ask if he could fix it and he said that the red dot couldn't have been from the injection even though it was right at the injection site and it bled a lot and hurt worse than it should. Our eyelids got droopy after a week after botax And also my lip filler gone and completely despaired after a week as well! And everyone noticed and asked us what happened to your eyes? Why you're eyes look so tired?? And ask me where is your lip filler??? So we made another appointment and showed him but he completely denied us and he said I cannot see anything wrong and it's totally normal!!! What is exactly normal? The botax last at least 4 months and the lip filler last 4-6 months!! My last 2 visits seeing Dr. Safavati have been unprofessional as well as a great disappointment. This has caused me to discontinue using his services. Leaving a doctor because I was not happy has never happened. However, I will not allow a doctor to treat me the way that Dr. Safavati has during my last few visits. He has been very short with his time as well as information. Once he entered the room I would see him for probably less than 5 mins. If I wanted to discuss a second issue I needed to make another appointment. When I tried to discuss this with Dr. Safvati he would say that he had other patients and needed to move on. I actually said, Are you kidding me? Sometimes unexpected things in life come up. When they are medically related you would hope and expect that your doctor would understand that. When you need their help you do not want to hear that your time is up. I have never experienced that before and hope that it never happens again. I wish I could give 0 stars to this doctor as a previous yelper had said. This is the most unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to. I needed bloodwork for an upcoming surgery and came to get medical clearance. They pretended to call my insurance provider to see if I had a deductible for blood work and told me it would be 500 dollars to get it done. I couldn't believe this outrageous amount so I called my insurance provider and they confirmed that this amount was not at all accurate and it would be 40 dollars to do it. When I told the woman at the front desk she acted surprised and said I should go deal with quest diagnostics instead. This was the worst experience i have ever had. I left the office feeling robbed of my 65 dollar deductible and angry that she would think anyone would be dumb enough to fall for such a scam. Not to mention I had to wait 30 minutes for change. Please stay away from this doctor and his staff they are untrustworthy and unprofessional. read more

This is the most honest and caring doctor I've ever had. He truly cares, and his staff knows it. He is always very busy, but if you have an urgent matter he will make time to talk to you or help. I think most of his patients are older, but I find that he is very up to date on all things health related. If you need a specialist, he knows the right person to go to and the process to be seen. I can say that since I've been under the care of Dr. Safvati my health has improved -- and I think it has everything to do with the fact that I feel comfortable in knowing I'm cared about. They accept several forms of insurance and they can draw blood here too. If you are in need a great GP, this is the best option around. read more

I wish I could give him Zero star instead of One. I went to hime for botox around my eyes and also to lift my eye brows. From the beginning my eye brows never lifted and after a months I've noticed all the wrinkles around my eyes have come back. I called his office and complained about it and took 2 days to call me back and he said you should get another round of botox. So, he is not taking responsibility to use either cheap botox or not using enough of it. He is very griddy. My advise, Don't go to him, and don't waist your money. read more

They assured me they were, so I set it up with Healthet, and waited for my new cards with Dr. Safvati as my PCP to arrive. Good Dr., Friendly staff. But I have now for the third time missed my Thyroid and Cholesterol prescriptions because I have not gone for a visit to the office. Instead of calling me to let me know that I need to go in, they refuse refilling my prescription when the pharmacy calls them. That is how I find out that it is time for me to go for a visit; when my pharmacy calls me to say that the doctor has refused to to refill. I end up going a few days without my medication, until I go back and they tell me that all is good and give me a refill. I have brought this issue up with both Ms. Anna and the Doctor himself, but they have chosen to ignore me and keep the same practice. I am really angry with them. read more
