The dumplings are delicious and juicy with a thicker dough. Be sure to make a dipping sauce with soy sauce, black vinegar and garlic (you'll likely have to ask for the garlic). Also ask for the house made chili oil for an extra kick. Hand pulled noodles with hot oil, garlic and spices (5 spice?) was also amazing. There isn't any meat in this dish but you won't need it. Hidden gem with authentic Northern Chinese food as other reviewers have said.

We ordered 3 noodle soup bowls. Noodles were soggy, meats were dry and stringy. Soup were tasty though. Very disappointed. The Smashed Cucumber dressed in Garlic Sauce appetizer is about the best dish tonight. Place is a bit dingy, something I would overlook if food is good. Unfortunately both food and ambience failed tremendously.

We are staying in Saskatoon for just one night on our Western Canada road trip so we wanted to pick…read morea great place for a late lunch when we got in. I'm so glad we picked Hearth among 4 places in the downtown area. We walked up around 15:00 without a reservation on Sunday. It was busy on the patio but we were able to score a table in the shade over looking South Saskatchewan River and the promenade. Since our table was at one end of the patio, it was a great spot to people watch too. Everyone from the hostess and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We placed our orders quickly even though there were quick a few good options on the brunch menu. I had a traditional breakfast and a Saskatoon berry lemonade and my husband ordered yogurt & granola and a long black. When he had told me he would be getting a long black, I had to do a double take in the menu and there it was. I could count with one hand how many places in western Canada I had been to with long black or café allongé on the menu. I was impressed and he said it was very good too. My breakfast was scrumptious with 2 thick pieces of sour dough toasts, 2 plump sausage patties, 2 perfectly fried (with brown edges) sunny side up eggs and crispy and soft potatoes! I ate very slowly to enjoy every bite with my refreshing lemonade on the beautiful patio in a warm & sunny late Sunday afternoon.

We each had a cocktail (they had a great list!) and most of us ordered the house made pasta. The side salad I ordered was delicious and a very generous portion. I really enjoyed the pasta, it tasted super fresh. Would definitely come back again!

Small town. Small minds…read more I heard a couple say that as I was walking down the street toward this restaurant. It's such an unfair statement, especially when applied to Saskatoon. This is a wonderful little town that punches above its weight. The meal I had here may have been the best I've had in 2023 (or at least tied with the one I had in Marfa, Texas). From the scallions to the pasta to the fish to the pudding like dessert paired with a sweet wine, each course complemented the next. The folks here were all so nice and I trusted them to surprise me with each aspect of the meal. I love it when I can hand that decision to experts. In such a short time, I've come to love Saskatoon. The people here have been great and with a meal like I had tonight, I'll put up this small town against much bigger ones anytime. No small minds here.

We only got take out so I…read morecan't speak to the dining in experience but the amazing variety of different types of pizza is simply astounding. We got 2 Meat Pizzas and 2 Veggie Pizzas: MEAT - Both totally delicious. Spicy Jerk Chicken obviously very unique offering! The Broadway was a staple yet delicious meat pizza with sausage and bacon.. and maple syrup?! VEGETARIAN - The 4Maggio was the most amazing cheese pizza that had HONEY on top! This has been a game changer and I can't believe more places don't put honey on top? Be warned, it does also have a truffle oil so you will get a bit of that flavour. I like truffle - my partner isn't the biggest fan. Vegetarian was simply loaded with all the good stuff! Artichokes, red onions, feta, red peppers. It was a solid pizza. Also with honey! Drool. You can also get some small little containers of oil to pour over your pizza that levels up your pizza.

So, food other than my steak was good, ambience great, service very slow.

Most of their dishes are vegan, with the vegan items listed on a separate menu We opted for the mixed veg curry, aloo gobi, and eggplan madrassi. Not the most complex flavours -- pretty ordinary. Decent spot, especially for the vegan selection.

I really love that the 5 course menu has multiple options per course, my partner and I are big foodies so being able to try ten different meals was incredible. We…read morehadn't been here before, and our waiter really knew the menu well and was able to give some recommendations, which we appreciated. Friendly and welcoming staff. We booked in advance and they checked in with our party beforehand, so we were able to let them know about an allergy concern. The staff handled that information better than so many other restaurants we've frequented. Allergies can be a serious concern for a lot of people, and having staff who handle those requests seriously in turn shows an appreciation for their customers. Kudos. The food we were served was excellent, across the board. The pasta was fresh, and the quality of their ingredients and skillful preparation made for a satisfying, flavourful meal. Also worth mentioning, they have a varied drink menu with lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to complement your meal. If I absolutely have to complain about something to be unbiased... Price-wise, well, it's not the Ol' Spaghetti Factory, but you're paying marginally more for quality - ingredients, selection, service - and you're getting it. So, priced appropriately, I would say. Music might have been a bit loud for my liking, but my likings are particular and it was admittedly appropriate for the atmosphere. *If you're weirded out by seeing people experiencing poverty and the related effects of social disorder, understand that it is located on 20th street.
