They have really good rotating soup, salads, and cheesecake and i've really come to enjoy little wifi-break after lunch since they're open late for studying anyways. Four of us came for dessert and coffee. I also decided to have a turkey, bacon and cheddar panini. This is a great place and obviously popular with the locals. The panini was very tasty and I would certainly recommend it. The coffee was hot, black and tasty. The restaurant was cosy and inviting with lots of art by local artists. I thought this place had pretty chill, cool, artsy decor. Kind of eclectic and hipster. I loved it! I also noticed that the vibe is inclusive. I felt like everyone was welcomed here. I saw young and old and even families eating here. My Huevos Burerias was so cheesy and enjoyable! It's like a cheesy egg wrap with some veggies inside. I loved this too. My boyfriend ate the Classic Breakfast Sandwich and loved it so much he ordered another one! They also serve juice that is bottled up. The Chai tea was also yummy. The menu is always changing slightly so I'll definitely be back to try more stuff! read more

Very creatively placed in a neighborhood of lovely houses. The front case is filled with a variety of delicious sweet treats. I ordered what turned out to be an absolutely gigantic salted caramel latte and not your grandma's grilled cheese. I splurged on the birthday cake and buzzed on a sugar overdose for the rest of the day. Varied tables and chairs, some for comfy talking and others more for casual dining, and all the service was done in a timely fashion and with a smile. Something of a treasure in Saskatoon. read more

It seems perhaps their coffee and deserts might be upscale. Regardless my salad and my wife's sandwich were both very good. I ended up trying this place while on the way out of Saskatoon, even though it was a walk from our Airbnb. This place was close to us and a place that I had been eyeing for a while, so I knew I had to check it out, and glad I did. This is a local spot that is pretty popular. So the cool thing is we went around 9ish, and they have this cool drive through area which you can actually walk up to, ring the bell and place your order. I ended up getting the normal breakfast sandwich (came with eggs, bacon and cheese). Overall this was good but I think a bit dry for my liking - a suggestion would be to add some sort of sauce to give it more of a creaminess! We also got the cranberry orange muffin which was good. Freshly made - the cranberry was very tarty and a cool pop of flavor. We also ordered a latte which was yummy! read more

One of my go-to coffee and brunch stops. The service is good and friendly, the cafe is cute and visually pleasing. Everyone is pretty spaced out so it doesn't get too loud. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich or a panini if you want something quick, if you're staying in longer then the soups are fantastic. read more

I've only ever had positive experiences there, but today was a different story. I brought my friend there to study because it's my favourite spot. I walked in and sat down with my computer like I've done many times before. My friend ordered a coffee, a waitress brought it to her and we began discussing what we were going to order for lunch. I had brought in my Starbucks cup because I hadn't finished drinking it yet. This is when a rude worker came up and aggressively asked if I had ordered anything, I said no, then she angrily explained that I can't bring in a Starbucks drink, especially during their busy lunch hour. My friend and I were very embarrassed as she was not being discrete. My friend then explained that we were planning on ordering lunch, we just hadn't decided what to get yet. She then told me that I shouldn't be at a table without ordering something. So I ordered another coffee. We finished our drinks and left, deciding against ordering food and staying to study, like we had planned. I agree that I should not have brought an outside drink into their cafe, but this woman did not have to use such a rude tone and embarrass us. I have never had any issues studying there before. To my understanding, this establishment is a cafe, where people can sit to enjoy a coffee, lunch, or study. If they only want certain paying costumers to occupy tables, then they need to make that clear, with signs etc as opposed to rudely calling people out. We were made to feel like we were not as important of costumers than those who ordered food. I would like to add that all the other young employees that we encountered there today were nothing but kind and accommodating to us, it was just this older woman. They have now lost a loyal costumer! read more

Used to love coming here but the past couple visits have really disappointed and frankly, disgusted me. I feel the sandwich I ordered must have been first microwaved and then pressed in some sort of panini press. Not good. Upon my retreat to the washroom I caught an unfortunate glimpse of behind the service counter and it really made my heart and my stomach skip a beat. The sheer amount of grime was pretty yucky. This then prompted me to pay a little more attention and peer into the kitchen area when I returned to my seat. Needless to say, it was more of the same. A family favourite. Local business with quite a variety in the menu. Homemade soup made fresh everyday served with a slice of homemade bread, as well as a daily salad. I had the feature salad which starred a dill dressing, which I thought would be more herb-y dill, but turned out to be more pickle-y dill, and that was fine by me! It also had almonds. Overall, great choice. I had a white mocha and a grilled cheese, which I believe was called 'not your mamma's grilled cheese' because it had 3 different types of cheese and was absolutely oozing, though not very large. This cute little shop offers a variety of delicious paninis, coffees, baked goods and the like. Last time I was in I had the chipotle turkey club, and it was delicious. Not huge, but cheap and marvelously tasty. I was impressed by this place the moment I walked in the door. The artsy decor was exquisite, and every nook of the shop seemed to be finely decorated, right to the washrooms. This is a good spot for a quick date or a hangout with your friends. The main food item here is paninis, although offer a variety of other options as week, including soups, coffees, and even a mini bar. The service was quick and friendly. The three ladies working when I was in were happy and eager to help. Since the menu includes some interesting names without descriptions of the inner workings of each sandwich, I'm sure they explain each menu item several times in a day. read more

I made the mistake of arriving to D'lish at 12:30. I was greeted by a line wrapping around the cafe and then continuing outside. This place is super popular for lunch! The line definitely matched the food quality. I had the roasted red pepper and tomoto soup, which was very filling. Be aware that a regular soup at D'lish would be a large at more restaurants. The soup also comes with a slice of their home made bread, which is the best bread I have ever had! When I went back the next week, the food was just as good. I came earlier (with a much shorter line) and they gave me a sample of the soup to make sure I liked it. It was their vegetable gumbo, which was spicy (I like spicy) and very good. They definitely give you a daily serving of vegetables! read more

They did apologize as they had a group come in, which I guess is okay as I think it should be first in first out. I have been going here for s few years now. I Love the food especially the soups. The servers are awesome even when it is busy. However I find it really annoying about the University students using this place as a study hall. They sit there for hours taking up table space. I know it isn't the fault of this business and the students probably make up 98% of the daily patronage. But for the rest of us that really is unfortunate if you are unable to find a table to have lunch meanwhile there is one student spread out nursing a drink. When I walk in there it's like I walked into an Apple laptop computer lab. I tend to hit this place up for the borscht and with the farm style brown bread (not whole wheat) it's like I'm back on the farm as a kid in the 1980's in my Grandmothers kitchen. read more

Omg. Just had the first bite of the Roast Beast panini. Soooooooo good. Like I just want to shove the entire thing in my mouth. My wife asked to try it and I growled at her! The borscht is unbelievable. To top it off, we ordered the wacky chocolate cake and the pumpkin cake. In total bliss right now. Soooooooo worth the wait. No wonder it was so busy there.
