TADAAAA....my 500th Review!!…read more March 19/19; This was an absolute delicious burger! One of the best burgers I've had in a while. The beef was cooked to perfection & with the truffle topping & the house made mayonnaise it was fantastic. Came with a side Caesar but something tells me that I should have ordered the kettle chips. The server Ashley was warm, polite & efficient. It would have been a 5-star but there was excessively loud construction going on that interrupted the meal. This is a definite do-over for the next time I'm in Saskatoon & the construction is over!

My Black Bean Burger with a side salad called The Scarlet Salad were titillating! The Black Bean Burger patty was chunky and delicious! I loved the avocados on it too. It was very filling. The salad had a distinctive sweet dressing and everything was fresh and yummy. My boyfriend's Chicken Noodle soup was also tasty. He said it had a gratifying bone broth flavor.

But to go in more details, the lumpia Shanghai (spring roll) was crispy and just the right size! Im usually picky when it comes to spring rolls since I don't know what it's made of and tbh, I didn't even check to see what's in it but it was so gooood especially with the sweet chili sauce Next, the bbq pork skewer has the right amount of sweet and savoury flavour! The only downside was I wish I had more to eat! Sharing one stick with Mr C wasn't enough Next, pancit bihon, (noodles) were so flavourful on its own; adding chili oil makes it even better! I love how it's easy to pick out the veggie (I think cabbage) and onions out For chicken adobo, I've made it myself once but it's noooowhere near as good as this! It's not fall-off-the-bone soft but still enough where we can get the meat off with just a fork and a spoon! Lastly, garlic fried rice - can never go wrong with it. It pairs well with E V E R Y T H I N G! Oh and as the restaurant name suggests, they also have cakes and other bakings! They have a wide selection from breads to Filipino style desserts; if only we had room for some! And as I type this, I realized we forgot to buy some cheese bread darn it! Guess we'll have to make another trip soon

The bar was so cute and the interior of this place was nice! Food Overall all the food wasn't as flavorful and they came in such small portions. The potatoes weren't too flavorful. However the cauliflower with the red pepper romesco was so flavorful and this was probably the best thing that we've ordered all night. The steak frites were a little too well done. Service The service was pretty good and friendly.

It's kind of a plain, bland restaurant without a lot of decorations. I tried the Hovagret porridge meal without the coffee. I added a side of sunny side eggs. The eggs looked delicious but they were cold in my mouth. I love how deep the porridge bowl is. Very good quantity. It also comes with a lot of brown sugar but the milk on the side to pour in the porridge did not taste fresh. My boyfriend had the Breakfast Special and he liked it but his eggs were also cold. The restaurant is a big place, they use a train car as a part of the restaurant which is pretty cool. There are plenty of seatings inside. Staff were friendly. I got Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo $22.95 CA and Penne with Chicken $21.25 CA. The food comes with one side of either soup or salad. Everything just wasn't as good as we expected. Pasta was a bit hard and so bland. Mushroom was undercooked. They used frozen seafood which are small shrimp, small scallops which is very unexpected and disappointing. My husband and my son barely complained about anything but this time they were all refusing to finish the food. The portions were also small compared to the price. I should have checked reviews on Yelp prior to ordering them. Definitely will not go back and not recommend.
