Their Impossible kubideh in particular genuinely surprised me - in the best way. I don't usually gravitate toward meat substitutes at all, and I've tried making kubideh and ghormeh sabzi at home. It just never comes close to this. It's not often I find restaurants where the vegetarian options don't feel like an afterthought, but Kasra absolutely gets it right. My whole family looks forward to it every time we order.

We felt like we spent an appropriate amount of money when a very nice young lady came to our table who was apparently the manager, and told us that our time was up at the table that the other people were waiting and that we really needed to leave.! I have never had that happen in a restaurant even in a Michelin star restaurant have I been asked to leave because my time at the table was up.! It really ruined our experience and it made us feel very rushed quickly, jumping up and getting out of the place. I have not seen these friends in a long time and I just really hated the way it ended... I suppose I will go back because I do love the food there, however, I know I will be on a timeframe when I walk in there, and I will be thinking about that the whole time I'm sitting at the table Has anyone else ever had this happen in any restaurant ever???? What a shame!

Their cherry rice is just top tier here and it goes so well. I had never had cherry rice before coming here and I'm hooked!. Hummus with the complimentary naan goes so well together I've came back year after years and am happy to report that their quality has remained the same. The bread the veggies that came out were very good. The appetizer sampler we got the eggplant dish, hummus, and yogurt and shallot. The hummus was not our favorite as our other go to Persian places seem to have a smoother texture but the eggplant was good. The yogurt was pretty tangy with light shallot flavor that wasn't super detectable but it was still nice. The koobideh was juicy and the rice and tahdig that came with it was super yummy. I don't love the seasoning for the chicken koobideh but that's just a preference thing nothing was wrong or unpleasant about it. The lamb koobideh was on point. The meat that my SO had was very good as well. Beef was tender. The chicken was tender. The only thing I was confused about was that my SO was supposed to also have tahdig on his rice but didn't receive it, he just got normal rice. My SO didn't tell me until the very end of the meal though so we didn't say anything to them but it was strange to forget that part of the meal. We didn't knock them for that because my SO didn't bring it to their attention and I'm sure they would have fixed it if we told them. Service was very friendly. They kept checking on us and were very polite. The outside of the restaurant is unassuming in a strip mall but the inside is pretty. There are some other Persian places that we prefer but the tahdig and the service and the juiciness of the meat were great here. The hummus was not our favorite though which to us is a big component that we like to eat. 4/5.

The portion was noticeably smaller than other restaurants--we were able to split it between two people, but there were no leftovers. To their credit, they do give you complimentary pita chips with hummus. And the hummus is good! But there's no complimentary fresh pita bread, and no small plate with fresh herbs and feta. So yeah, I'll probably pass on going out of my way to come back here, but it's not bad.

Our Family was deeply immersed into the authentic vibe of Persian culture, food and people. Love it so much. Food: the food that touches your heart, both my son and I feel like crying ( with happiness, hard to describe feeling) Our server was warm welcoming and very attentive to our need. However, the tadigh came soggy, making it difficult to chew, as if the ghormeh sabzi had been sitting on the crispy rice for a while.
