In all the years I've worked in the medical profession, the pharmacist I dealt at Walgreens overstepped. He made an error on the prescription provided by my physician. He did not apply a refill to my record and then stated that HE would "decide or another pharmacist would decide whether they thought my medical issue still existed for that refill of antibiotic". I mentioned to him that a Pharmacist cannot diagnose. He then rebutted by stating that "they can call the physician then to see if he wanted it filled". Huh? Well.. here's a clue.. the physician wrote it for a refill purposefully, with intent. I think this pharmacist was attempting to distract from the error he made on my prescription. I then called his manager who was also a pharmacist. I asked her how she felt about the pharmacist she was managing telling me "he would decide if I still needed the refill of antibiotic". She, stated that a pharmacist can decide if they feel comfortable refilling a prescription. Hmmm .. it's antibiotic lol. Anyhow, I will be reporting this to the California State Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacists cannot diagnose and that is exactly what he stated he was going to do in order to provide a refill for antibiotic. It appears Walgreens pharmacists are a way too entitled by trying to diagnose and play phisician. Generally if a pharmacist works at Walgreens they are new to the field or can't get a job elsewhere. It appears this is the case.

I understand being patient, but once you have people behind you, you can't get out of line to go inside. So during my 20 minutes in line, 10 were spent at the window waiting for the clerk to acknowledge me. They help everyone in line inside before handling any cars in drive through! Ridiculous system, they should help one inside, then one car. So the drive through lane was packed with angry people forced to idle in their cars in the heat.

I just moved to roseville and was testing out my first international shipping so everything was new for me. I thought i should let people know to please drop youre parcels off directly at fedex office (rocklin location is probably the nearest) instead of the "fedex onsite" locations especially if you have paid for same-day or overnight shipping, or you sell things online. They also turned away another customer with packages weighing more than 20 lbs. Not sure if this is known but here you go! I asked 2 different staff regarding frequency of fedex parcel pick up from walgreens; one mentioned fedex picks up the parcels twice a day, and another mentioned he doesn't know when fedex picks up or don't. I think the actual frequency is probably somewhere in the middle. To the staff credit, they have always been very nice, they do pick up calls and will help retrieve your parcels so you can move it to another fedex location so parcel gets moved within the day. So 2 stars!

Unfortunately, this time the Walgreens FedEx location refused to accept my return, saying the package was too big. Then I was told that it needed to be completely taped around and that the label had to be attached. However, the email I received from FedEx clearly stated that I could bring the email to a participating FedEx Office, FedEx Ship Center, or Walgreens, where a team member would print the label using the QR code or RMA number. The supervisor was unhelpful, and unwilling to assist. After this experience, I will not be returning to this location again. Very disappointing customer service.

My husband went to the pharmacy to grab allergy medicine and I got sidetracked by the candy aisle. I ended up getting a variety of different gummy candies including skittles gummies and sweet tart gummies. We also picked up a couple drinks. The staff was friendly and we were able to go through the pharmacy area and the front check out in a quick amount of time. We also found everything we were looking for, plus some.

I was looking for ice to add to my drink coolers for my event and found packs of ice near the drinks. They were a bit more expensive than other places I've stopped at, but the convenience of being near my event made it worth it. Plus I wasn't sure if Walgreens would have ice and I was so glad there was some. It seemed the store was lightly staffed, but when one of them saw me walking towards the cash register they joined me there to check me out. I was in and out within five minutes, and on my way to my event!

I use their auto-refill feature and signed up for text notifications. That has worked well. * I really like the drive-thru feature; especially in Winter months. * I also like that their auto-reminder for pick ups confirms your co-pay so there aren't any surprises. A couple of times when I didn't like the price using my insurance, I called & had them re-do it using Good Rx so that when I went to pick it up I wouldn't hold things up. * I used them to fill an Urgent Care prescription & it took a little longer than I liked, but then I found out that the Urgent Care tech has to have prescriptions reviewed by a supervising physician before sending to a pharmacy & that can take 20-30 minutes. Then it goes into a queue with hundreds of other prescriptions that the pharmacy has already rec'd that day ahead of mine. Some of those are also from other Urgent Care facilities. I decided to drive the 15 miles home, have a snack & wait for the text notification. All-in-all, I think it took abt 2.5 hrs to fill the Rx, but that's no worse than other locations where I've had to have that done. * For in-store shopping... well, it's disappointing but I'm not sure if that's because a lot of things have to be locked up from theft. OTC meds are hard to access & I did give up once when no one came to help unlock the thing, but simple stuff (Chips, snacks, cards) are easy. The staff has been nice about 97% of the time. I think I got an idiot once, a toad another time & a simpleton a 3rd time. That's life.

Multiple times, a prescription has been sent to this Walgreens, and the app/system shows it as "confirmed." I make the trip to the pharmacy, only to be told they don't actually have the prescription. This has happened multiple times, not just once. At this point, "confirmed" apparently means "confirmed that we have absolutely no idea what's going on." I understand that pharmacies get busy and mistakes happen, but when the exact same issue keeps happening over and over, it stops being an isolated mistake and starts looking like a serious competence and communication problem. The amount of wasted time, unnecessary trips, and frustration is ridiculous. If you can't reliably process a prescription or accurately communicate whether you actually have it, what exactly are customers supposed to rely on? The ineptitude of the people that work here deserves its own further review. Too bad negative stars isn't an option.

They have allowed me to use my copay card for YEARS, so if this is there mistake fine, whatever but speaking to me as if I'm the one scamming them is unacceptable. If their employees were overriding this coupon incorrectly that is THEIR problem, not mine. This is one of the worse customer service experiences I've had from an already bad store. The place is abysmal and their pharmacy manager is the most vile person we've ever dealt with.
