They also turned away another customer with packages weighing more than 20 lbs. Not sure if this is known but here you go! I asked 2 different staff regarding frequency of fedex parcel pick up from walgreens; one mentioned fedex picks up the parcels twice a day, and another mentioned he doesn't know when fedex picks up or don't. I think the actual frequency is probably somewhere in the middle. To the staff credit, they have always been very nice, they do pick up calls and will help retrieve your parcels so you can move it to another fedex location so parcel gets moved within the day. I explained the situation and pointed out the available shelf space, but she similarly refused the package and told me to find another location. This level of service is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Turning away a customer with a simple, ready to go drop off during regular business hours was extremely inconvenient.

This has happened multiple times, not just once. At this point, "confirmed" apparently means "confirmed that we have absolutely no idea what's going on." I understand that pharmacies get busy and mistakes happen, but when the exact same issue keeps happening over and over, it stops being an isolated mistake and starts looking like a serious competence and communication problem. The amount of wasted time, unnecessary trips, and frustration is ridiculous. If you can't reliably process a prescription or accurately communicate whether you actually have it, what exactly are customers supposed to rely on? The ineptitude of the people that work here deserves its own further review. Too bad negative stars isn't an option.

On the ADL website they have a blurb about costumer service. "ADL Customer Service: Our Customer Service Representatives are more like Case Managers. Each is responsible for a segment of our customer base, and they're with you from start to finish. Our Customer Service Team are specialist in insurance coverages, product knowledge, required medical documentation, and in being pleasant, professional and compassionate towards you, our valued customer." Section 5 of "our process" states. " Speaking of communication, our Customer Service Representatives are always available to be contacted either by business telephone, fax, email or VerbalCare®. In turn, they will make contact with you, if there are any changes to your order status, insurance payment, or otherwise. Communication is key and ADL understands this." AGAIN THEY STATE!! "In turn, they will make contact with you, if there are any changes to your order status, insurance payment, or otherwise." When asked why we weren't contacted a manager responded with "we're really busy". This is a business that people rely on for daily living needs and one can't even do that. I will say the customer service representative can be very kind except for when questioned on why things aren't working properly. If you must work with this company be prepared to call every month and run around in circles to ensure everything you need is in order for shipments to be sent.

Some were taken in the morning, some with meals, some later in the day, and others at bedtime. Trying to organize all of that myself would have been confusing, exhausting, and potentially dangerous. Carmichael LTC made it simple with their bubble packs. The medications are organized according to the time of day they need to be taken. The packaging includes a medication list, pictures and descriptions of the pills, brand and generic names, prescribing doctors, refill information, and clear instructions. When you wake up in a morning fog, you do not have to stare at 33 bottles and figure out what belongs where. You simply open the morning pack and take it. That convenience brings tremendous peace of mind. For years, they have stayed on top of our prescriptions and refills. They contact our doctors when necessary and usually deliver our medications several days before we run out. They have handled pills, injections, liquids, eye drops, and just about everything else we have needed. This is not a giant, impersonal chain pharmacy. It is a small and dedicated group of people who know their customers and take pride in their work. Saira, the owner, leads a wonderful team. Her assistant, Hala, is truly exceptional.
