Would give zero stars if I couple. Horrible treatment from pharmacist. Complexly inept systems. Zero care.

This review is only for the bakery department…read more I ordered a custom round cake for my birthday. It was super easy to customize online. I was surprised by everything that they offered. You can get a 10, 8, or 6 inch cake. I ordered a 6 inch because it was for a small party. The price was only $15! You can choose the flavor (chocolate or white) for the 2 layers. You can add a filling (strawberry or Bavarian Cream). You can choose the color of the icing. There were 15 color options available for the buttercream, and 11 available for the whipped cream. You can add a top and/or bottom border, then choose the design (beads or shells) and color (15 options available). For the decorations, they had the option for balloons (4 color combinations), flowers (7 options) with 15 colors to choose from, or toppings (4 types). Last, but not least, you can add a message (50 character max) with 15 color options available. You then choose the store and a pickup time. I ordered and picked up my cake within 48 hours. The cake came out so well! It looked just how it should. It tasted great. I have no complaints!

I was shopping last night to cook dinner. I purchased pork chops and a Japanese eggplant. Started…read moreto cook these together and it smelled foul or rotten. I took the cellophane out of my trash to show the Walmart sticker and price along with a paper receipt. I even found the receipt on line as I have have shopped on line before. However when going back, the customer service center was closing, so the cashier told me to see together manager which she pointed out who she was at a register. When I explained to that manger what happen and the meat i purchased was rotten, she told me customer service center was closed. I said I only spent $7.19 for the 2 products. I'd just like my money back. (Paid cash). She called another cashier named Theresa. A few minutes later she came to supposedly help me. She then explained she can not return "airlift." As I left the rotten meat & egg plant in the pot on my stove. She said again, she needs the product to do a return. I drive Back to my apartment, grab the smelly pot with the food I started to cook and rushed back to Walmart. I found Theresa and she told me she should have told me to bring it in a bag verses the pot I brought it back in. I was also told if it spills pouring this into the plastic bag I brought the cellophane in, if it spills I WILL be cleaning it up!! I was shocked again and even more upset! Not only did I drive home so she wouldn't return "airlift," but she also made me wait after I saw her l, and decided to help a few other customers leaving me waiting. I approached Theresa, saying I was here first before these other customers starting their self check out. She noted, I will be with you and that SHE'S Coming!!! I was told she can only give me a gift certificate or come back again in the morning when the customer service center was open!!!! This was Unbelievable and quite shocking! Please, if you ever need to return groceries, expect very poor customer service. No cash back either after the customer service center has closed. Even if your return was $7.19! You will be forced to accept a gift certificate meaning shopping there again!! If I can give No stars, I would but it does not allow this.

Update: Things have improved--at least somewhat--since my original review. I've still got…read moreflashbacks of waiting weeks for a common prescription, but I've discovered the secret sauce: use the CVS app. Pro tip: Through the app, you can actually request a callback instead of sitting on hold until you age into your next prescription (I once spent 45 minutes waiting for someone to pick up--no joke, that actually happened). It also makes prescription tracking and communication a lot smoother. Honestly, the app has saved me a ton of frustration and cut down on the mystery of when (or if) something will be ready. The staff here is still friendly (that hasn't changed), and while I wouldn't exactly call the service lightning-fast, it's become more manageable now that I know how to navigate the system a bit better. Not a glowing endorsement--but a more balanced one. If you use the app, you'll likely have a better experience than I did the first few times around.

If Dante had rewritten The Inferno in 2026, CVS Pharmacy would be one of the circles of hell…read more I'm standing in line, again, at 7:00 p.m., behind at least nine other customers, half of whom are actively coughing up a Petri dish of flu, COVID, and seasonal bronchitis while the rest of us marinate in it. Staffing? Never appropriate. One pharmacist. One tech. No urgency. No apology. Just inertia and viral load. The real issue isn't just the wait. It's the philosophy of the place. Somewhere along the way, pharmacists went from trained dispensers of medication to self-appointed judges, jury, and executioners of care. I respect the rigor of a PharmD program, but the job is to fill prescriptions safely and accurately, not to become an uncompensated extension of the insurance industry or to act as bouncers at the gate of medical access. Today, like every day, it's a bureaucratic gauntlet: prior authorizations, insurance denials, random policy flags, "state law" this, "federal regulation" that, all wrapped in the magical CVS clause of we can deny you for any reason, with no recourse. What I need: my blood pressure meds. What I get: friction, judgment, and delay. CVS claims the pharmacy isn't profitable? Then don't run one. If a multibillion-dollar company can't make the numbers work, then the problem is leadership, not margins. Fire the board. Replace the CEO. But don't weaponize inefficiency and call it healthcare. Worst of all: this isn't just my experience. It's everybody's. Every person in line is dealing with an issue. I've seen nothing but confusion, confrontations, and people leaving empty-handed or worse, angry and still sick. This isn't healthcare. It's hostile indifference. And it's baked into the system.

This is a review for fedex onsite at this location. I dropped off my international parcel last…read morefriday and realized that the parcel is still at the same location 4 days later on monday. I just moved to roseville and was testing out my first international shipping so everything was new for me. I thought i should let people know to please drop youre parcels off directly at fedex office (rocklin location is probably the nearest) instead of the "fedex onsite" locations especially if you have paid for same-day or overnight shipping, or you sell things online. They also turned away another customer with packages weighing more than 20 lbs. Not sure if this is known but here you go! I asked 2 different staff regarding frequency of fedex parcel pick up from walgreens; one mentioned fedex picks up the parcels twice a day, and another mentioned he doesn't know when fedex picks up or don't. I think the actual frequency is probably somewhere in the middle. To the staff credit, they have always been very nice, they do pick up calls and will help retrieve your parcels so you can move it to another fedex location so parcel gets moved within the day. So 2 stars!

I refill my prescriptions in advance of needing them. Days later... they're still "in progress"…read more That means they are not ready for me to pick up and I have to call. As soon as I call, (which means waiting on hold for 20-30 minutes) they immediately process it. There is no reason for me to have to call and sit on hold. I AM TRANSFERRING TO CVS... hopefully they run more smoothly than Walgreens.

But I feel compelled to post this review because my last several experiences have been fantastic, both in terms of the efficiency with which my scripts have been filled and with respect to the excellent customer service I've received. My experiences here started to improve right around the time Chloe Lee joined the pharmacy staff as Rx Manager; she has been dependable, professional, efficient, and--most importantly--compassionate in communicating with me, proving that she is a true healthcare provider who can thrive in a busy pharmacy and treat her patients with respect at the same time. I hope Chloe is rewarded and acknowledged for the great work she's doing; she brings me peace of mind and is the main reason I keep coming back to this CVS, instead of switching to one of the many other retail pharmacies that are located much closer to my home and workplace. Thanks, Chloe! You rock.
