This review is only for the bakery department. I ordered a custom round cake for my birthday. It was super easy to customize online. I was surprised by everything that they offered. You can get a 10, 8, or 6 inch cake. I ordered a 6 inch because it was for a small party. The price was only $15! You can choose the flavor (chocolate or white) for the 2 layers. You can add a filling (strawberry or Bavarian Cream). You can choose the color of the icing. There were 15 color options available for the buttercream, and 11 available for the whipped cream. You can add a top and/or bottom border, then choose the design (beads or shells) and color (15 options available). For the decorations, they had the option for balloons (4 color combinations), flowers (7 options) with 15 colors to choose from, or toppings (4 types). Last, but not least, you can add a message (50 character max) with 15 color options available. You then choose the store and a pickup time. I ordered and picked up my cake within 48 hours. The cake came out so well! It looked just how it should. It tasted great. I have no complaints! read more

The item is large once opened, and when I tried to return it in-store (as the website said I could), they refused because the store was "too small." I really don't mind this location at all. There's a giant parking lot with entrances either through the garden or the front. I like how the staff are friendly and kind. Every time I needed help they're there to assist me. I do appreciate how this location is well organized, has plenty in stock and has a wide variety of clearance items. I do enjoy the garden section. I also find the self checkouts convenient and nice. I do recommend that you check out this supercenter next time you're in the Roseville area. read more

I was picking up an online order for my client yesterday that she put in on Saturday. I like the convenience of not having to walk into a store after working all day, and someone else does it for you. It may not always be perfect, but this time around, it was ridiculous. As I pulled into a numbered parking designated for online orders, the check-in part of the app was messing up. I spoke to an associate who got me checked in with my clients order number, and he told me he still had to prep the order. I assumed that meant grab the refrigerated items from the refrigerated section, then grab the other items from their designated location, combine and... be out in 10-15 minutes...(That's how it went last time) Nope I had been sitting in the cart for over 30 minutes, waiting for this associate to bring out groceries and whatever else she ordered. When it is 110° out, you only have so much patience. I spoke to a 2nd associate who was walking by, and he said he would check to see what was taking so long. When the order finally arrived over 30 minutes later, that associate said he had to go look for batteries... So you took 30 minutes looking for batteries? Next time, forget the batteries! If you can't locate batteries in a store you're working at after 5 minutes, FORGET THE BATTERIES when you have someone waiting for an order that is supposed to be ready and it is 110° outside! I went to the store and looked at the Christmas section there was a 50% off isle and I got a gift set of shampoo and conditioner in a box together total price before 50% was $22 went to the register it was full price so I told a lead Davie he went to the isle to check for himself because he said some people make up stuff when he seen it he said it was put in the wrong spot and that it's not 50% off and he doesn't know who put it there. He wouldn't honor the price to match what it says one the sign. Also the lead irina and Andrea was there didn't want to honor the price advertised. I'm not sure if it's me or what but I can't seem to catch a break ... Come on walmart, oddly as I was checking out my Walmart app would not log in .It kept prompting me to try again unexplained log in issue. Log story short my account was flagged for fraud then I had to make a new one which was fine . Cool great but then when it's time to have my pre loaded Walmart gift card balance transfered to my new account I keep getting pushed around !! All week iv litterally called every single day !! The representatives don't even make any sense and I can head people caughing in the background. Sometimes there was tv playing , has anyone else had this problem this week??? I'm so confused and really upset . I was fortunate enough to have been gifted that gift card to make things stretch to the end of the month. Iv wasted so much time calling and arguing with these representatives that don't even sound like real workers but its the Walmart number I've been calling !!!! I really needed grocery's and other necessities. I think my original phone call was fraudulent and that set me up for disaster. Huge Walmart right next to the Roseville Auto mall. Now thats convenient. If you ever have the itch to kick tires and then buy almost anything you can dream of the combo of Walmart and the auto mall will tickle your fancy. Went here with a friend who needed to pick up some things for a friend who is in a hospital setting. I was to take these things to said friend the next day. This Walmart has it all. Bakery, toys, produce - its one of those mega marts. If you come here there isn't a necessity to go elsewhere. My friend seems to like Costco more. He would point at items and then have something suspicious to say. I don't know. I think I like Walmart better than Costco. Costco has you by the b@llz with their membership. All locked in and committed - once you buy in - you really can't go elsewhere - due to the cash back. I don't want anybody grabbing my what not with a choke hold. After reading quite a few Yelp reviews on the Lead Hill "Walmart Supercenter", I've come to the conclusion that people are giving this location a less-than-mediocre 1 star or an over-the-top 5 stars. Given the numerous times I've shopped here, I will meet everyone in between and go with a just okay 3 stars. And I've got to say, that rating is being quite generous considering my past experiences shopping at various Walmart locations. The main reason for this high of rating is location. Considering that Roseville is notoriously known for being a higher-income, higher-demographic city in an entirely different County (Placer), this weeds out a ton of the bad seeds that are south of here in Sacramento County (predominantly Antelope, North Highlands, and Citrus Heights). This location is also not surrounded by homes but is across the street from the Roseville Automall while being directly on Lead Hill Blvd. and adjacent to Rocky Ridge Dr. The parking here isn't the best as it is always filled up during any given time. There is also a dedicated "employee" parking area as well as a "Walmart grocery pickup and delivery" area. Since I live closer to the Auburn Blvd Walmart in Citrus Heights, I still prefer this one much more. There is only one main entrance and the customer service is to the immediate left while there are restrooms near the front register as well as in the rear near electronics. I do prefer the layout of this store as it is well-lit and actually well-stocked. The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired as some of the employees are unable to answer basic simple questions. For instance, I asked the older female employee where I could find basic kitchen utensils and she was unable to help me. So much of this involves going on a scavenger hunt and navigating your way around the store. The checkout lanes usually run slow but 9 times out of 10, I will ring my own merchandise up in the self-check out registers (which do accept debit, credit, and cash). All in all, this is not a great "Walmart Supercenter" but arguably better than 95% of the ones I have been to. They do have decent hours being opened from 6am-11pm every day of the week. With that said and done, I am giving this location an average 3-star rating. read more

Coming from Folsom, I'm super impressed by this Walmart! Super organized. Fruit & veggies has been perfect every time. Meat selection is great. Pricing is always the best at any Walmart. After doing some research about how much water I needed throughout the day to keep me hydrated, I came across the 1 Gallon Motivational Water Bottle in Pink Ombre and discovered this location had it in stock. Not only does it keep this working mama motivated to hydrate everywhere she goes, but it's easy to carry and not to mention doesn't leak! I also purchased my favorite brand of menstrual pads, Always Infinity Size 4 Overnight Pads with Wings(Unscented). They're breathable, super absorbent and you forget you're wearing one! Lastly some grocery items we needed as well for meals, definitely a well-stocked location! I would recommend this location and we'll definitely be back to shop for more savings on necessities, SYOY! :-) read more

The long line wait time and poor customer service is getting ridiculous in this particular Roseville store. Only three check-stands were opened on Black Friday weekend around noon. The pink-haired bedazzled rebel in front of us couldn't afford most of her Loft-House cookies and box of chips so she laughed about having the clerk take numerous items off the bill when the clerk is saying that she cannot do such an action... Pinky was very slow about deciding which junk food she was willing to let go of when a random dude she's with informs her there is money now on the card. We witness all of their personal drama unfold before us in the line but they seem unfazed by humiliation. Random dude thanks us for our patience, yet mine had long expired. I suggested that perhaps they check their balance BEFORE shopping. Pinky says there was an unexpected bill and makes more loud drama about "hating to have to pay bills". Welcome to Life 101. Meanwhile, once our items are on the checkout, someone waves us over to the next line that magically opened yet it's too late and the incompetent staff know this. I find it funny how the Walmart staff management run around looking very busy doing nothing. The white-haired elderly lady who always wears a mask at the checkout had a snippy attitude, but at least she was quick to ring us up after the awkward encounter. read more

We usually have good customer service here, but this morning there must have been a shift to a very ill-mannered set of workers for some reason. My husband was rudely addressed by an employee after waiting 10 minutes for a product to be unlocked for purchase. She was very unfriendly and attempted to scold him verbally for pushing the button more than once. Even more frustrating was an employee was nearby when he first was requesting assistance but he was told by that person in a very curt manner that it wasn't her section. A manager was pointed out but she did not engage him at all and left the area. Get it together Walmart!!! These areas with those locked cabinets. and high customer traffic should be observed on a more regular basis by floater employees of some type. Avoid This Walmart ... Poor Customer Service and Illegal Policies I had an incredibly frustrating experience at Walmart store #0420 (1400 Lead Hill Blvd, Roseville, CA), and I feel compelled to warn others. I purchased a set of tire chains on December 30, 2024, and attempted to return them on February 23, 2025... well within the return window. That day, I was told the return center was closed and, oddly enough, that this particular Walmart does not accept returns on tire chains. I was advised to try another location, which made no sense. Walmart should have consistent return policies across all stores. That evening, I called Walmart customer service, who reviewed the situation and approved an exception for my return. They provided me with an authorization number and assured me I could return the item. When I went back on February 25, 2025, things got much worse: - A manager named Priya refused to honor the authorization from customer service. - She refused to even call customer service herself, leaving me to call from my own phone. - When customer service called the store, no one answered five times in a row. - The customer service rep was so frustrated that she was about to give up. - I had to track down a floor lead and ask her to answer the phone before Priya finally picked up. Once Priya was on the call, things escalated. She argued and even yelled at the customer service agent, who was just trying to do her job. The agent informed Priya that she was bringing me on the line so I could hear the store's return policy firsthand. Priya must not have been paying attention because when I joined the call, she became angry and upset that I had been included. The customer service rep was so fed up with Priya's behavior that she told me she was submitting a formal complaint against the store, not just for failing to answer the phone, but for Priya's unprofessionalism and refusal to follow protocol. Then came the real bombshell. Because Priya didn't realize I was listening, she admitted that one of the real reasons they don't accept returns on tire chains is because it costs the store money to ship them back. So instead of following Walmart's actual return policy, they are denying returns just to avoid the expense. That sounds like a store-level policy that goes against corporate policy and is misleading customers. Even worse, this store is violating California Civil Code 1723(a), which requires return policy modifications to be clearly posted at entrances, registers, or on the product itself. No such signage existed. Priya even claimed that it was posted in the automotive section, but I checked, and it was not there. The only bright spot in this ordeal was an employee named Drake, who finally processed my return and was professional and understanding. But it never should have come to this level of frustration in the first place. Bottom line: - Inconsistent return policies across Walmart stores - Unprofessional and rude management (Priya) - Refusal to follow corporate policies - Failure to answer the phone multiple times - Admitted reason for denying returns was cost-saving, not policy - Clear violation of California consumer law If you have any issues at this Walmart, expect to be ignored, argued with, and treated poorly. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about this store's deceptive practices and unprofessional management. This Walmart is hidden away across from the auto mall and behind Kaiser. It's smaller than Foothills and closes earlier too. There's always an cashier eager to ring up your items. Lead Hill cashier's are the best of any Walmart in the Placer area. I get nostalgic visiting Lead Hill because it's like the 90s never left Walmart. Customer service is everything at this location! Our favorite VIP checker is Darla, she's a bundle of joy, witty and knowledgeable. We try to visit when Darla is on the clock because she's such a delight to be around you want to come back, over and over again. We're not over familiar, we're just over self checkout. The store is a 5/5! The store is spotless and smells clean too! Each aisles is fully stocked with visible prices. Employees are everywhere to assist and they have the best clearance section in town! 5/5 stars! Take aways Returns, customer service counter and garden department closes at 7pm. Worst papaya and calzone I've ever tried to eat! Their berries are great. The Calzone was utterly tasteless. Their delivery system is outstanding, and their prices are excellent. I also like their pre prepared subs, but whoever buys their produce needs to do better. I would also recommend that they stop offering the calzone; the wrapper would have tasted better. This is a review for the bakery. I ordered a cake online on Wednesday April 3 to pick up Friday April 5. It was for a gender reveal. Whoever helped bake/decorate the cake did amazing!! I couldn't be happier. I honestly expected a low quality cake, but it was way better than I imagined. The cake was moist, the frosting (although too sweet for my taste) was perfectly decorated, the writing was neat, and the filling was yummy! I will definitely be going into the bakery to see what other options they have for custom cakes. Super happy with my purchase. P.s I didn't do the "blue" color inside - not sure if that's an option. If I could give less stars I would. It's no wonder you guys have a 2.5 stars, your employee or possibly just the manager is an asshole. Your store has a closing time of 11pm. You have until 11 to make your purchase, you do not kick people out at 10:56, threatening to not let them pay for your purchase then proceed to follow them through the store while you're trying to get the one product you drove all the way out for. If you are not allowed to go in with a few minutes to spare then lock your damn doors. Tell your security to tell people coming in that they are not allowed in or they will not be able to pay for their purchase. Tell your damn door greeter to relay the same message. Instead they just let you walk past in. Instead the greeter welcomes you in. I get that you want to go home but as someone who has been to plenty of other Walmarts, I have never once been threatened because I had 4 minutes to spare before "the registers shut off at 11". As someone who works in customer service, you aren't supposed to be treated the way the man, possible manager had treated us today. As someone who works in customer service and has a close time, if we still have guests that need our services, we don't tell them we're closed and they have to go home. No, we help them until we have no one left. Not only did was he rude to us but he was rude to other guests as well. Threatening them as well. Lead Hill Roseville is probably the best Super Walmart in the area. Had very good selection and fully stocked for toiletries today (soap, specialty shave products, bug bite care). All great stock, nothing expired. Clean for a Walmart store. Friendly cashiers at customer service and checkout. Probably the best time to shop is Sunday during Labor Day weekend. No lines at return counter or checkout!! This location has historically had what I needed and it's in a quality part of the ghettomento, err, Sacramento region. read more

He never made eye contact with me, was chewing on his fingernails did not answer my questions mumbled, and was in general the worst customer service person I have ever encountered in my entire life. ATTN COACH LUIS, SEAN & ONLINE & PICKUP: Yesterday I ordered a grocery delivery, unfortunately my driver did not deliver to my home and the photo shared was totally blurry. I couldn't believe it was happening to me, that I may have been scammed or missing my order. I had used all the rest of my food stamps for groceries this month and even paid for a delivery to make sure I would have dinner. I even put my dogs away, got dressed, and walked around in the pitch black and rain looking anywhere for my groceries. When my order didn't arrive I called customer service, who, sadly.. were no help at all. I was beyond devastated and was told I could get a refund within 3 hours and re order the next day. It felt like no one understood that this was my food this was my dinner. What else was I going to do? After back and forth with an unhelpful customer service rep, I asked to Speak to a supervisor. The supervisor suggested and offered the number to pickup and online and I immediately called! A nice girl answered and I told her what happened, she asked me to repeat myself so someone else could hear, I told the next person who brought me to a manger.. couch Luis! A god send!! Literally!! I explained my situation and due to policies and the time it was already it wasn't looking good. I think he eventually understood how devastated I was and that I in fact never got my order and I wasn't lying, he said he would check on some things and call me back. He held up his end and did in fact call me back! Unfortunately the driver didn't know where he left my groceries, and the manager offered to re do my order with delivery, but he ended up letting me pick up per my request. Mr. Sean went and re pulled my whole order, and I know it wasn't an easy order because there was a lot, and it was late. I truly, from the bottom of my heart, am so grateful for Coach Luis & Sean. I will never forget this moment or the generosity these two men served. We are so lucky to have people like this in our community. I am forever grateful. Forever. Thank you. If you want super deals check out Walmart. I've shopped many in the US and I like the SuperStores the best. I don't buy a lot of food there, I shop, in other departments. Walmart isn't close too my home location. I do like their fresh pizza's and dairy products. Pharmacy item's are affordable as well. The household item's would be my biggest interest. They have good quality items at affordable prices. They even carry portable air condioners. Along with trendy kitchen appliances. Check out the superstores in uour location. read more
