We like to have collars at each place he stays so that the phone numbers are relevant and reach the person he is staying with in the case he gets lost. Hand sanitizing was required when one entered the store and a small sanitizing station was provided to make the process easy. Face masks were also required. The store is beautiful and it is easy to walk the aisles/display areas and see what they have available for sale. I found a few things that I am keeping on the back-burner for potential presents for pet owners when the time is right. Taking and having the tag made custom engraved didn't take long at all and all of the workers we interacted with were friendly and knowledgable. They even provided some insight on an adjacent business, Great Harvest Bread, that we found very helpful. All around enjoyable shopping experience.

I was able to find a few cat toys that I thought my cats would be impressed with....turned out they weren't...but that's beside the point. (My cats rather bat my water bottle caps off the kitchen counter and then under stove. Mud Bay sell higher quality pet food such as Weruva, Orijen, B.F.F. and Avoderm. I saw lots of grain-free and raw diet stuff if you're doing that with your pets. (I tried raw diet with my cats for a couple of years but it was just way too much work. Plus they wouldn't eat it half of it time....spoiled brats....don't they know there are starving kitties in Africa that would love to trade places with them?) There were couple of sales associates that were super friendly and very well informed about the products that they sold. (They helped me look at the ash and magnesium level for some of the dry food brands even though I wasn't going to buy any. I was just in the area for a couple days and would be flying out. Kinda heavy to be lugging a 18 Lb. bag of pet food in your check in... ) Anyway very nice people that work here and really clean too. Thanks guys for a great experience. Next time I'm in the area. I will definitely come back and buy more cat toys that my cats will probably ignore......

Most recently I came with my mom in March 2021 looking just for the suet. It is a cool store with lots of bird-centric products. I could easily see walking through the store just looking at everything, but the day we stopped we had frozen food in the car so had to make our trip quick. Workers are friendly and insightful in their interactions. We found the suet easily and the COVID-19 procedures were clearly communicated at the front of the store. Prices for the merchandise are fair. Products are artistically displayed in such a way that jump-starts the creative process for potential new items for the critters in the back yard. The store sign on the outside of the building makes the store visible from the street/parking lot. Parking is available in a large parking lot that is shared with a number of other businesses at the Lake Forest Park Town Centre. So depending on the day/time parking may or may not be easy to come by. All around fun and relatively hassle-free shopping experience. Oh, and Wild Birds Unlimited has a YouTube channel :).

And what was especially nice when I visited this location, my best friend/fur baby was with me! My dog was absolutely spoiled here, which is why I love this place. Anywhere that caters to dogs makes me an instant fan, but The Seattle Barkery has high-quality, healthy treats for the fur babies, in addition to some swag and accessories that they sell in the store. Plus, they also customize cakes, which you can order and pick up from here. My dog was given lots of treats by the super friendly staff here. The staff even let us try the treats before making a purchase after she learned that my dog can be picky about some treats, which was super nice and allowed me to not waste my money on something she wouldn't eat. I was able to take home a lot of treats for her, including new treats my dog has never had before but ended up loving! So glad I found The Seattle Barkery in Shoreline, which is the perfect place for your perfect pet.

We've given the grooming salon at this PetSmart multiple chances, but we're done…read more The last three appointments we've scheduled have either been canceled the day of or changed at the last minute. There always seems to be a new excuse. Today's experience was the final straw. We had booked a bath, brushing, paw pad trim, and sanitary trim. After we arrived, we were told the groomer assigned to us couldn't complete the service because our dog's fur was "compacted" (not matted) and we'd have to reschedule with someone else. What didn't make sense is that the same groomer was apparently able to do the sanitary trim but somehow couldn't trim any other part of his body because of his coat. At this point, it feels like they look for reasons to avoid completing appointments. Every time we bring in our large dog, the staff seem visibly frustrated before the appointment even begins. If your salon isn't equipped or willing to work with large breeds, just be upfront about it instead of repeatedly canceling or making excuses. The staff haven't been welcoming, the salon appears consistently overbooked, and the customer experience has been incredibly disappointing. I can't recommend this location for grooming.

I had mice, hamsters, rats, and a striped Danio (fish) growing up and this Petco was the closest store to the house with prices in the budget range of a kid earning a weekly allowance and later working as a dogsitter/housesitter/plant waterer and in multiple roles at a pool.
