I've been to many dog bathing stations because my dog has a high maintenance coat. I will list the pros and cons of Pet Evolution self wash. It's important to me for my dog to have a good experience while having a bath. I met the groomer Ayden and she is very knowledgeable about grooming dogs and dog behavior. I look forward to having her bathe him and will post on that service soon! One thing I would like to address another yelper said to go to Doggo self wash. Do not go there! The floors were filthy and it was coin operated. The water would run for 5 minutes even if you didn't need it on and you would be charged. Same with the soap. Not worth it! I hope they remove that review comparing apples to oranges! Five Stars for Per Evolution! I can't say enough good things about Per Evolution and the care they gave my Samoyed, Morgana--affectionately known as Madame. She was desperately in need of grooming, and I was a little nervous since I usually give her a vet-approved sedative beforehand due to her anxiety. This time, I forgot. But the groomers at Per Evolution handled her with incredible patience and care. They took the time to calm her gently, and to my amazement, Madame Sammy allowed them to bathe and groom her without the sedative. That speaks volumes about their compassion, skill, and understanding of anxious pets. She came back looking gorgeous--clean, fluffy, and happy. I am beyond grateful and will definitely be returning. There was a person out front by the entrance wearing a dog costume waving at passersby (5/24/24). That in itself made me smile on my way to Pet Evolution. Very nice, welcoming person at the front counter as I entered. Grand opening was yesterday for this well stocked retail shop. Everything one could imagine pet parents could buy: food, treats, accessories, toys, and there's even grooming services and amenities onsite. I don't have any pets, I just admire from afar. I happen to stop in to this new shop to pick up a @Destination Shoreline sticker. And it did its job because I was able to stop by, check it out, and welcome Pet Evolution to the neighborhood. I booked an appointment for my standard poodle Merry to get bathed and groomed here. I've been grooming him myself for 3 years but it typically takes me 6-7 hours so I decided to leave it up to the pros this time around. Dropping him off was super easy. Merry was nervous when I was leaving but Aydan was super sweet and let me walk him to the grooming station so he'd feel more comfortable. 3 hours later I came back to pick him up and he was absolutely beautiful and so soft. The moment I got back to my apartment complex I got several comments on how gorgeous he looked. I am so happy with the work Aydan did and definitely recommend Pet Evolution and her to anyone looking to get their dog groomed. Customer service is rude, took them 10 minutes to confirm the tubs are ready when nobody was using them. Front desk person had to keep going back and forth into back room to confirm if baths are available and note nobody was using them. proceeded to wait for them to waste more time while our dogs waiting anxiously for their baths... During the bath time they didn't seem to be friendly and was watching us the whole time bathing our dogs when they didn't do this with other customers. Even after paying for our services and tipping no thank you, or any kind of acknowledgement from the team working on this day 8-10-25 around the hours of 11AM-1PM If you want to feel alienated by paying for the wash services by all means, save yourself some hassle and get a better experience at washing your dogs at "Doggo Self Wash". they play music and it's always a fun time at that location. Best part they have a dedicated drying room so it doesn't take up a tub for others to wash their dogs. It's just down one block away from this location. read more

They have a very limited selection of dog food. And they want $30 to let me wash my own dog! I predict a fast exit from the Shoreline area. Maybe their grooming services are more realistic. I'll continue shopping at Mud Bay, and I'll wash my dog at Doggo Self Wash just in the other side of Aurora. I'd rather give my money to an independent business than a franchise chain looking to cash in on the pet market. read more

Avoid the self service dog wash. They offer nothing to use aside from a basic pre-diluted soap in a squeeze bottle, towels and a dryer. Then getting a nail grind done was an absurd $35 extra, all for a grand total of $60 to wash my own dog with barely any supplies and be told that his nails looked great and almost nothing needed to be done. I went here because it is close and was open when I needed it, but there are other options not much further that offer a great deal more with far better pricing. The two stars is entirely because the employees themselves were very kind and helpful, otherwise it would be one. read more

This place is amazing I can't find a better pet groomer place anywhere as good as this place yes it's a bit pricy but it's all worth every penny I've tried a different place in Kirkland and another but those places don't treat my cat good but this place deserves 100 star rating they are patient with my cat and I started their when I first adopted my cat and they respect him and help him trust them with their care I go for nail trims and he's always happy and the lady's there are all so loving towards him he never looks distressed like other places I've tried they care so much about the cats they care for I'm moving and I tried other places so I don't have to drive as far but there isn't one I can find that fits for my cat and friendly places like this one I will keep going here even if it's a commute because it's that good highly recommend you won't regret the people who work here you can tell are highly trained and know what their doing. They respect the cats boundaries and comfort zones and never over step and my cat butterfly loves this place he always is so happy here and loving to them I know he loves them because car rides are hard for him so coming here just makes things easier because he's happy here . read more

Olive at Pet Evolution is an amazing groomer! I have been twice, once for the shampooch and once for the full groom. Their attention to detail and gentle demeanor really show they care about how our pup is treated. We have a 9 month old sheepadoodle and he loves Olive. I really can't say enough good things about Olive- they even found a foxtail in our poor pups paw and removed it. Sheepadoodles are prone to matting and Olive knows how to gently cut the matting out without hurting our boy. I hope you take your pup to Pet Evolution to see Olive! read more

I'm not sure where to start because when the store opened I went in to check out their services. It seemed like a great new alternative from Petsmart. I was pretty excited to be a new loyal customer. I have a bernadoodle puppy and I brought her in to be groomed. When I picked her up an employee berated me for not having my PUPPY fixed yet. She went on and on. My dog is a puppy! I spoke with the owner about that and she didn't apologize she just said she would speak with the person. A few months later I decided to try the self wash station. The soap didn't smell like anything, but it was kind of fun. My Girl is always so happy and fun. She's great. Then when we went to pay the owner made me feel like I had to buy treats. She wouldn't leave me alone until I agreed to buy some freeze-dry treats for $36 and 25% off. Those were their most expensive treats. I wasn't happy but I wanted to leave. Then the owner and her husband started saying something about samples (they have an accent that is a little hard to understand) and the next thing I knew we had about 5 small bags of samples, a medium bag of treats, and the bag I got forced into buying. My husband paid and we left. We got home and I looked at the receipt. It was $76?!?. I'm like what the hell!!!! I go in for a $16 self-wash for my PUPPY and the bill is $76. They charged $33.50 for the wash and $12 for the medium bag. The medium bag we never agreed to buy. They just added that on their own. What happened to the $16 self-wash price? I feel they kept me busy so I wouldn't notice what they were charging my husband. I'll never be back. I'm fact I'm going to return the freeze-dried stuff and the medium bag. I'm not happy. Very friendly staff helped assist me getting my dog into the self grooming area and explained everything since I was new. I did get a free wash from them but looking at their prices it is pretty expensive compared to many other places. They only offer the tub, dryer, drying hoodie, and two types of shampoo and that's it. It could be a lot better for the price like having conditioners, brushes, ear/ face cleaners.
