My three most recent issues have been the staff not knowing how to key in warranty claims, the auto center mechanics leaving trash under my hood, and most frustrating, leaving the auto center with parts not being put back on my car correctly. This led to fluid continuously leaking in my parking space at home following an oil change. I had to return the car and have the service completed again. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I ended up going to Ed's Plant World in Brandywine where the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful to a beginner. The difference was night and day. Here are some descriptives I've come up with: sloppy; disorganized and lacking in essential items. This Aldi is a prime example of how the same chain can differ greatly depending on the surrounding areas socioeconomic status and general demographic. I hope you all see what I'm getting at. The produce was all over the place. There was no spinach. Boxes everywhere. People basically piling on top of each other just to get frozen fish/ veggies. The prices are marked higher than Aldis' is more "affluent" neighborhoods m, such as Alexandria, where berries and other items are at least $1 which is significant. I get a pineapple guacamole that usually 2.89, it was close to 4 bucks at this location. Odd, since this area has a rather low median house hold income and high rates of public assistance. Regardless of any of the factors mentioned--Aldi's as a company needs do stay on top of their stores. Some stores shouldn't be neglected because of where they are. This is clearly a huge staffing/training issue. I thought I was saving sometime coming here, turns out I wasted more time walking up and down the aisles looking for my normal Aldi finds. If this is the only Aldis' you've been to, my review may confuse you. Try driving out to Arlington or Alexandria and I guarantee it will all make sense.

No other liquor store I go to places several glass bottles in a bag with no cardboard separation between any of them!!! Bottles just clicking together in both bags.....lazy. This was the first and last time stopping here. Just happened to be in the neighborhood. My normal two stores would have never allowed me to carry all the bottles to the car with several men working. I'm going to go back to my usual spots where they greet customers when they walk in, say thank you when I spend my hard earned money at their establishment and go out of their way to be gentlemen.
