This place is great. I booked a one-on-one session with a pro and had a fantastic experience. They are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, and really take the time to teach you about safety and proper use. Ear and eye protection is absolutely required when inside the range, and safety precautions are observed. Very good large clean indoor range. This was the first time I had been shooting. They were very friendly and helped out with choosing a rental firearm. I shot a Ruger 10/22 semi auto rifle. I would recommend the .22 caliber for beginners as it has very little recoil if any. The Ruger is a great gun to shoot. When you arrive first check in at the front desk then you watch a short safety video and pick out a firearm. They have a lot of choices. You also can pick out a target - I chose some bowling pins. They also provide ear protection (over ear style) and eye protection. You then buy the ammunition which is around $10-15 per box of 50 rounds. I would recommend getting more than one box, maybe 100-200 rounds if you want to spend a bit more time there. They have two ranges and the section we were in didn't have any other people in which was nice. The range officer was very friendly and he showed us how to use the rifle and also helped with the safety, magazine, reloading etc. and also the usual safety rules (keep the gun pointed down range, keep finger off the trigger unless you intend to shoot etc). Important note: You NEED to make an appointment beforehand. Make sure you call them up at least a day or two beforehand and give them your name. They had plenty of availability when I called. Also you need to bring your state ID (e.g. driver's license/ID card) or passport if international. The people that work here are very friendly and helpful. Loved shooting here. Try to make reservations beforehand because they seemed pretty busy. The lady was super nice at the counter and knowledge on what guns to shoot. I shared a lane with one other person. So fun rental plus ammo was well priced. I was there around 1 hour and half. They were making sure every one had mask on and place was super clean. Get there earlier if you are new to there because video plus filling out application takes around 15mins. They also let you choose 3 sheets per lane to shoot. I like shooting with the time, makes me know how accurate I was shooting. Try to wear a T-shirt to prevent arm burns when you shoot. Usually doesn't hurt just seems red because of all the power it pulls back when you shoot. read more

I really recommend this place for those looking to try out something new. It was a phenomenal experience. A bit costly, but I didn't leave with any complaints in my mind. They take safety extremely seriously. They made us watch an instruction video which covered everything we needed to know from reloading to situations that involve danger. The instructor in the range was also quite helpful and gave clear instructions on what to do. The facility is kept clean, the staff members are eager to offer you their expertise and experiences. This is a great range and store with gunsmithing services. They also host gun & knife shows, which is how I found them. The premises are clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the parking is ample. During the gun shows there is limited food service, which is a plus. The selection of guns, both new and used is good. Ammunition is scarce everywhere, but Safeshoot has been manufacturing their own for sale and for use in the range. They also offer clothing, accessories, a laser range, and more concealed carry handbags than I ever knew existed! There are classes for permit applicants and personal enrichment. If you shoot frequently, the range membership will save you some money. I'm glad I found them, and wish it had been sooner! read more

I was trying to cross off bucketlist activities with my boyfriend for our anniversary and came across SafeShoot. We rented 2 guns (great ones were recommended for our first time) and bullets. Is there any age requirement? I'm 20 and wondering if I'll be able still rent and have a good amount of fire arms to have fun with?

Amazing Place!! They made me and my friends feel super welcome. 1st time there and it felt like home. If I'm ever in the area again I definitely will be back. I may even have to take the 2 hour drive and do it again. Great Selection, Very Good Prices, HUGE Place, Super Friendly... Overall Awesome. I have been to many ranges and this one stands above the rest. 2 of the 3 of us were from CT and 2 out of the 3 of us didn't have pistol permits. So we needed to rent and have a training on their weapons. They couldn't have been nicer and accommodating. We rented 3 guns a .22, 9MM, and an AK47. All were fun but the AK47 was Definitely the Best. We went back and grabbed a couple more boxes. Thank You to the Wonderful Staff. Hope to see you all again soon. read more

Best shooting range ever visited. High tech, new, spacious and comfortable. The instructors and staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The guns are beauties! Great place to consider a party (ie. bachelor party) or office outing...They also have meeting rooms, lounge etc. New and used guns for sale, and some interesting gear as well. A must to visit if even the slightest interest in gun ownership or just some shooting fun. read more

Awesome new shooting place! We shot CZ Scorpion and AR-15. Very cool experience and good activity to do in addition to all of the hikes in the area. They thought of every detail from A-Z. There are glass partitions between shooting booths which makes shooting with a buddy more fun. read more

I went to this range yesterday (01/14/20) for the first time and this place is for real... legit. You couldn't ask for a more up to date range with outstanding lighting in the range area (dimmable lighting at your shooting position) which is nice to be able to brighten up your immediate area for reloading then dim it back down to shoot. Some words that come to mind are... Bright, Clean, Super Friendly & Knowledgeable, Great selection, Well Stocked, SAFE.....Plenty of Parking....Including Handicapped Permitted Parking right outside the Main Door. I will to be purchasing a Yearly Membership next time I go (which will be very soon) to lock up some savings on Member discounted ammo and maybe just maybe check out the awesome looking Massage Chair in the Members Only Lounge. I've seen maybe a dozen different Shooting Ranges in my day and this facility blows all the others away (Pun Intended). I highly Recommend at least checking it out if your a shooter with a conceal carry permit which is required to shoot at this facility or you can rent a firearm from them at what I think are pretty darn reasonable prices. read more

Went to this place the other week for a one hour session. After the session I decided to get a year membership. Since then I've gone a several times and they are consistently friendly and helpful. The range has a variety of shooters with varying skills. The staff always make sure to assist and look after the beginners more than the experienced shooters. The place is clean and well maintained. The members room is a great idea and looks like it is still a work in progress. It's clean with good features like a massage chair, television, music, bathrooms, etc. I'm very happy a friend of mine recommended I stop in. They do not rent eyes or ears so make sure you bring your own if you have them. They do sell items if you don't have your own. The gun rental case just had glock added. read more

Love this place. Recently got my conceal carry and went here to purchase a gun. Everyone was very knowledgeable and suggested I shoot a few rental guns before committing. Had a great time shooting here with my father. This was our first time at the range. We had only discovered it after realizing the usual range we have gone to was closed. I wish we knew about this range sooner! Very clean, very organized, and safety is very important to them. The pricing is also great, an hour is only $15 and then you just need to buy a box of their ammo which could range from $11.99-$19.99. Great find! read more
