They were very informative and they made sure that they deliver a very interactive class. The classes also had 5 and 10 minute breaks in between so it made the time pass quicker. Be prepared for an 8 hour class and bring snacks and candies to avoid being sleepy :) They provide coffee and some snacks too (brownies and pastries). The class that we took was a two day event, 2 hours on a Friday and 8 hours the next day, Saturday. Since we live in the city, we had to check in a hotel to save driving time. It was a great decision as the hotels are only 5 minutes away and not expensive. Excellent class overall!

They both play in several leagues and have a couple days a week that they're in on a regular basis. Apart from tennis camp as a kid, I've never been much of a tennis player so when I'm there, usually I stick to the fitness area. From that perspective, there is nothing terribly special about the offerings but it's pretty much got whatever you need. I've never been in when it was crazy busy in the fitness area so I'm not sure how well people manage with one squat rack. The people who I see have always been friendly though and happy to let you work in. Even though the fitness space isn't huge, it does a nice job of giving you what you need without taking too much space from the tennis courts. Plus they also have a separate space for fitness classes if that's something you're interested in. Overall, it's a good option if you'd like to play tennis and be able to work out at the same place or even if (like me) you're not hitting the tennis courts.

Steve maintains an easy-going atmosphere and set up a whole series of different games for us that kept things very fun and fresh. It was great for beginners but he also told us about various places he's played (including 24 hour long games with thousands of people) that made me think he would do a good job hosting experienced players too. The equipment we rented from him worked well. The area for play is a wooded area with plenty of interesting cover and terrain. He explained and observed safety procedures throughout our session and I always felt safe. We didn't play Lasertag but he's also available for Lasertag parties, which is great for kids and he can do it at your house. One thing to know before you go is that although Steve operates under the auspices of the Overlook Golf and Recreation Center, you don't actually meet him at the place where you play mini golf or drive the go carts. The paintball area is on the other side of the property, and you drive in a different way to get there. It's not hard to find, but just discuss it with him in advance so you know where to go.

The home run derby with the boys' names up on the big screens was a huge hit, and the kids stayed engaged with one of the owners and the girl helping run the activities. Diana was also great, she even offered to go and wait with the McDonald's order I placed, we chose that instead of Giacomo's pizza and the boys LOVED it! She was very sweet and thoughtful. My only friendly suggestion would be to include drinks like water or Gatorade in the package, since the kids are so active. Overall, it was an amazing party, and we'd definitely celebrate here again.
