Ear and eye protection is absolutely required when inside the range, and safety precautions are observed. I think it's the only hands-on class and I got to do lots of cool things with a few different guns! Can't wait for my range time to come when I finally get my permit. The drills were there to not deter or frustrate you, but to get comfortable doing them and what you need to work on. Just going to the range is not enough, professional training is a must. It was a one day course, but you will learn a lot and leave the course a better shooter and definitely things to work on; practice, practice, practice! They were very informative and they made sure that they deliver a very interactive class. The classes also had 5 and 10 minute breaks in between so it made the time pass quicker. Be prepared for an 8 hour class and bring snacks and candies to avoid being sleepy :) They provide coffee and some snacks too (brownies and pastries). The class that we took was a two day event, 2 hours on a Friday and 8 hours the next day, Saturday. Since we live in the city, we had to check in a hotel to save driving time. It was a great decision as the hotels are only 5 minutes away and not expensive. Excellent class overall!
