I arrived at 1:03 and was told it would be about 1/2 hour as the tech was finishing up the car he was working on. I thought that was reasonable so had a seat in their waiting area. A woman was there also waiting. Her car was completed about 30-40 minutes later. In the meantime two other customers arrived. At 2:15 both of their cars were completed (also for tire repairs) and I'm still sitting there. I asked for an update and someone checked and said it would be 15 more minutes. I asked why people that came in after me were already completed. I was told the techs they were assigned must have finished their previous vehicles quicker. I finally left at 2:38. So it doesn't matter if you have an appointment, it's which tech they assign you to! It certainly isn't in a first come first serve process! So, hope that the tech you are "assigned" has easier vehicle repairs before yours!

After a few days, I received a phone call from Bob saying that everything was finished. I was shocked to hear that it was done so quickly, considering they had to order the parts for the vehicle. I came in to pick it up and was again shocked to hear the price. It was significantly lower than what I was expecting. He also took it upon himself to fix the recall gas peddle on it. I was very pleased. While I was paying, Bob went ahead and pulled my car up to the door for me. I highly recommend this dealership for all the friendly staff they have and the great prices. Which is a consumers right. When picking up the vehicle some issues were identified that the quality of repair was substandard The tailgate operation needed to be corrected with an adjustment went out of their way to make this inconvenient so I completed it on my own The spray in liner was only partially sprayed, the seam was a mess and looks terrible !!! The seam in the truck bed looks like a bad scar. These are the reason I disputed $550 of a near $13000 repair! Now in retaliation for asking them to fix it Irwin is refusing to honor their warranty, their work or even speak about it anymore! Had Irwin tried to repair the issues I would have completed payment when work was corrected. At least my insurance was a reliable source and are paying for a respray of my entire bed. On May 21, I brought my 2018 Volvo to Irwin Chevrolet for an oil change and four-wheel alignment…read more I requested that the tire pressure not be adjusted. I have my own calibrated air pump; I check my tire pressure periodically and whenever there is a significant temperature change. Every time I do this, I go into the "My Volvo" feature and have the system recalibrate the tire pressure. Vovo recommends 38 psi for my car; I always run 40 psi for a firmer ride, so that's the pressure I set the calibration to recognize. After being serviced by Irwin Chevrolet, a dashboard caution came on indicating dangerously low tire pressure. A check of the tire pressures revealed that the Irwin Chevrolet shop, despite my request not to adjust the pressure, had reduced it to 38 psi, triggering the caution. Irwin Chevrolet also performed a rotation and charged for it, although I had not requested one. When I complained, I was told that including these services and the associated charges was General Motors policy. In the past, I have had my Volvo (and two earlier Volvos and two Volkswagens) serviced at what is now NUCAR in Tilton. At NUCAR, my requests were always honored. I see no reason to patronize IRWIN CHEVROLET in the future if its employees are unable to honor customer requests.
