Been here several times over the years for windshield replacements. It's the closest Safelite to me. I know they travel but if you need your sensors calibrated, it has to be done in the shop. It took about 90 minutes for mine the last time. They promise it in 2 hours. There's a waiting area or you can drop it off and they'll notify you when it's completed. Theresa, the front desk employee is super friendly. All of the technicians are professional, well qualified and fantastic. My insurance covers the entire cost so value is fantastic. My car comes back clean with no trace of glass. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

I have unfortunately needed their help three times in about as many years. Overall the experiences have been good. The staff have always been very nice, and once the car is in the shop the work itself tends to be quick. On my last visit they actually cracked the new windshield during installation, so I had to come back another day. The technician clearly felt terrible about it and handled it professionally, so it wasn't a huge deal. They also broke the plastic tabs on the small interior cover that hides the wiring to the rearview mirror, but it was cheap to replace and not worth making another trip back after already coming in twice. The other two replacements were pretty seamless. Not a place anyone wants to need often, but when I have needed them they've generally had plenty of appointments available, have been easy to work, and the turnaround has been quick. read more

Second time using Safelite. First time was in the driveway. No complaints. Second time was in the Manchester shop. Took em half an hour. Glass came out fine both times. Even when I had to do a reschedule due to weather, wasn't an issue. They dealt with the insurance claim and took care of the paperwork. Crew was friendly and efficient. Not sure what happened to these one star complaints, but I would use them again without question. read more

Service appointment scheduled, do not fix small cracks always push for a new windshield, headed down the road to another shop. Would recommend staying away so they can't scam you, the people in charge don't know what they're doing and just have AirPods in. Won't give you the light of day. read more

I made an appointment to have a windshield replaced and a few days before the appointment they called to say it was delayed in shipping and rescheduled. Ok, that's fine, one more week wasn't going to hurt. Day of the appointment they were supposed to show up between 1:00 and 5:00. At 4:40 I tried to call and got a message that the office was closed. No one showed, no one called, no one emailed. The next day I called to figure out what was going on and got told they couldn't get a hold of the local technician and they'd call me back. No one called. I moved on and found a local business that offered the exact same service (changed the windshield in my driveway) for less money. Look local and pass on this chain. read more

Scheduled initially and then there was some confusion about my appointment and the glass was still at the warehouse.... Rescheduled for a week later. Quick and easy -- only took an hour and 20 mins Only bummer = they ran my car the whole time (I assume). My fuel economy tracker went down almost 1 MPG & I have a lot less fuel left but it was simple and easy and I'm impressed insurance took care of the cost. No copay or anything... they just told me to leave the adhesive on for 1 hour. Thank you .. :) also note but it is 88 degrees out so I don't really blame them but I work hard for that 29 MPG :) Edit: I changed my review to 5 stars because I like that the owner replied so speedily. I made a mobile appointment for 8am on a Monday because my windshield had developed a crack and I was about to head out of town. I paid the extra $30 to ensure I had the first appointment of the day because I had to head up to Boston to catch my flight. The tech called me at 6:45 am, which I thought was just to confirm he was on his way. I called back at 7:15 and was informed my appointment had been cancelled and he was heading to a different customer. When I told him I needed him to honor my appointment and I'd already confirmed over text, he became belligerent and ended up hanging up on me. No one at Safelite cared at all about what happened and most people I talked to were also pretty rude and offered no solutions. This company has horrible customer service and honestly, as a single woman, I no longer felt safe having one of their techs come to my house. I ended up doing an in-store appointment with Auto Glass Now and they could not have been nicer or more professional. read more

Scheduled an appointment to have windshield glass replaced dropped it off they called me back and hour later telling me they couldn't because the glass was blemished and couldn't be used glad they told me but inspect prior to drop off should have been done. Arrived to pick up and found my driver side door unlocked ready for anyone walking by to open up. They said they would call on when the glass arrived to schedule appointment they never did had to go in person to see what's going on they schedule my appointment for the following week, after getting the glass replaced they said they would call to let me know it's all set never did. Communication here at this site sucks. After picking my truck up found scratched on the door handles that were not there before. read more

Unfortunately had a crack in my windshield that I didn't know where it came from and had to get it taken care of before it got bad. Looked online and was able to make an apt through their online website for a location in Manchester. Received a quote for the work and was prepared for the payment when I brought my car in. I had finished my other errands and wanted to go in earlier but they couldn't accommodate my request but did arrive 15 min early and they were able to take my car in after I had checked in. I have driven my car for a day now and I do appreciate the work they did. In about an hour they had removed, replaced and reinstalled all my stuff that I was able to enjoy the rest of the day. I was able to find a coupon on their website and was able to save some money which knocked the total down about $250. They had also replaced my wipers with new ones that would normally have a cost with that but were able to get that waived. The wipers have a warranty so I will utilize that when they get worn. All in all I appreciate the quickness and work to get me back on the roads. read more

Scheduled a repair a week out and never check availability of the glass. Then called 2 days before and tell us they gave up. When I asked who they checked with, they couldn't release that info. Took me one phone call to find the glass at a nearby auto dealer. If Safelite can't find aftermarket glass, they give up. Maddening, since these clowns are my insurance company's preferred glass repair shop. In CT you have the right to pick the repair shop. Exercise that right. These people don't deserve your business. read more

My original appointment was 2/24 Safelite canceled saying that they couldn't get the part on time my next appointment was for 3/2 the tech showed up and told me he has the wrong part my next (3rd) appointment is for 3/8, I don't believe them they are a preferred provider by my insurance company so I am sort of stuck with them. This is not the first time that they've come to my work while I'm working for me. They go out of their way for complete customer convenience, so you quite literally do not lift a finger once scheduled etc. This time around it was a simple chip that needed filling. Advice--get $0 deductable glass insurance it is amazing! I noticed on the final bill printout that even IF I had to pay out of pocket it was not expensive at all. The rep was great, I spoke with him a bit, had a few laughs, and he explained everything that could possibly happen and then some. Don't hesitate-chips WILL grow on a daily basis. STAY AWAY!!! I used SafeLite Auto Glass in Manchester. I was told that they would come fix my window between the hours of 12:00 and 5:00pm on a Tuesday. I took the day off from work because I am unable to have them come to my job site. They came at 2:30 WITH THE WRONG WINDSHIELD. I own a Hyndai Santa Fe it is a very common car. They did not take any measures to ensure that my time (and theirs) would not be wasted?? I was told they would come back next Tuesday. I explained that that would mean that I would have to take another day of from work. I called the manager Joe (supervisor) who said there was nothing they could do about it. I was going to be contacted by an administrator. Two days and four follow up calls later, I finally heard from the administrator, Eric Castro. He also told me that it was "too bad". I really don't think SafeLite Auto glass should be taking this so casually. I take time off from work and loss of income very seriously. Do yourself a favor and use a small company that cares about their customers............ POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR ORGANIZATION, POOR RESOLUTION TECHNIQUES, POOR MANAGEMENT!!! read more
