After a mountain of text and phone calls long story short and believe me it's a much longer story....over $5,000.00 worth of damage was done to my vehicle just replacing my windshield The body shop found damage where the installer had cut through or broken parts and he tried to hide or repair it with windshield adhesive... There were adhesive spots all over the hood and fenders it was a mess. Also when the installer put my wiper blades back on my truck two of the blades weren't even for my truck they were so long they hit the roof of my vehicle he didn't even put my own wiper blades back on my truck. I tried to negotiate and be fair I provided two estimates for the damages. I ended up having to go through the insurance company because the windshield company would not go with one of the two repair estimates I provided nor would they provide me with a rental car well my car was being repaired they refused. By the way all this was going on immediately after the death of my mother and they knew that and this went on for months between the windshield repair trying to negotiate and then getting the repairs done. He was able to vacuum out broken glass, replace the window, and return the vehicle exactly to the condition it was before the window was broken in the first place. I would highly recommend this service to friends and family based off of the quality delivered by Jamal. To top it off, Safelite (technician was Jamal) broke the Cover Assembly for the Multi Censor that protects the camera and my safety features. They didn't push 4 clips in to remove it but instead ripped it off and broke all of the clips. I was wondering why the plastic piece was hanging down when I left but guess that is why. Safelite is completely incompetent and I would suggest taking your car somewhere reputable if you would like it fixed correctly.
