I just picked up my car from Top Notch, where they repaired accident damage to the front-end. Before I went in to to their office I took a stroll around my car. I think I strolled around it a half dozen times. I even traced my fingers along the seam lines where the panels, plastic and accessories met. I looked at the sticker on the back to make sure it was my car. I just couldn't believe what a great job Top Notch did AGAIN. I say "again", because they impressed me about 4 years ago when they repaired another vehicle. I wondered if they were really this good, or if maybe the first time I got lucky. Look, I risk coming off here as overly effusive, but from start-to-finish -- their communication, clarity, detail, creativity, going the extra mile -- I've now experienced it twice with them, and it was excellent both times. I did have to make a return trip due to my molding not being replaced properly. As the son of an small business owner, I am empathetic and try to give small businesses the benefit of the doubt. (Which is why I've added one more star) As high as gas is right now, I had to make two extra trips to the shop and it would have been thoughtful to offer some type of compensation for my gas and time wasted as well as acknowledgment of their mistake. Hopefully this feedback will help the shop improve and get better for future customers. Update: the saga continues with Top Notch. They didn't replace screws and clips properly after removing them and now they are claiming they didn't remove them. I now have to go to another body shop to get this done right. read more

I was told one price over the phone drop my vehicle off and said that my vehicle will be ready in one day next I get a phone call. I went to this shop with my husband. They were nice at first, but then after they received the insurance money they changed the story. They received over 6,000 dollars for a bumper, 2 headlights that were not original parts, and a set of stripes. My car is 2017 ford Mustang. They were vague about what was going to be replaced. They said they would replace the stripes, but then only replaced the front part. They were only going to replace one headlight for over $900 when you can get a set for $400. We had to call insurance to get them to replace the other headlight and they charged insurance another $900. They over-charged and under-delivered. We tried to take my car to a different shop but they did not let us since the payment was already submitted by my insurance. They said that the car will be ready in 1 week. They took 2 weeks and a half. I had to call them several times to get an update about my car and I was treated terribly. Brian was yelling at me just because I was asking him about my car. I told Mohammed to listen to his recorded calls so he can listen Brian's unprofessional behavior to myself. Mohamed stated that they have the best shop of the entire state. His answer was irrelevant towards my experience with his shop. Please be careful going to this shop. read more

I went about a week ago to this shop to do a repair on my VW with my door and when I got my vehicle back I was very unsatisfied with the work that was done. I'm not a picky person but with a bill of $2,000 one would expect the job would be done good and have no issues. When I got my vehicle back it still had orange peel which was not buffed right but they did take care of it and can't complain much on that. then I started to notice details on the repairs which were first two dents, one I can live with but the other dent which is next to the fender is noticeable like part of the door is slanted inwards and can see the shadow the fender casts on that part of the door. I spoke with a gentlemen which I forgot his name but I'm assuming is the manager or one supervising the repairs when they are completed but mentioned those concerns to him and said they couldn't do anything to fix it and that I'll end up having to replace the door. I paid $2k to patch it basically when I was never informed of needing a door which I would have done if they told me from the beginning so I don't have to pay again another big bill to have it done correctly. They also caused a scratch on the door as well but covered it with touch up paint because I know it will require the tech. to do the job again which should have been done again. Then I notice that they damaged my seal around the window when they were buffing the vehicle. If the repairs were cheaper then I wouldn't have complained because you pay for what you get but with a big bill like that and a poor job of a repair is unacceptable. I'm not a specialist in body work but how come I can see these defects and not them who are specialists. They should have inspected the whole door correctly and informed me of needing a door so I don't have to pay double repairs on the same issue. The gentlemen I spoke to I know tried to calm things down and dust this under the rug but overall the repair was bad and now I'll have to pay more money to have it done correctly with someone else. read more

I gladly gave this business a 5 stars. I was looking for a relatively affordable paint job for my old Bestsy (2003 Jaguar). I've had her since 2004, she still looks great, runs well, we didn't want car pmts so we decided to have her repainted the same color (clear coat peeling). I called "Top Notch" because of their many positive reviews. I found that that their noted "honesty and courtesy" extends to customers over the phone. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my car painted there because they don't do whole body auto painting. But the gentleman continued to take his time and give me pointers so that I would not get ripped off. He even offered for me to come in so that he could take a look at my car and point me in the right direction as to what type of service(s) I would need. For this I think they truly deserve all the positive ratings they've received. It's hard to find kind and honest business people these days. Wow, I have never been so wrong about my initial read of a person or business. There are at least 4 untruths that were told to me by staff and then the owner pulled the 3 CARD MONTE... well this person will be fired immediately if he lied and when it was clear he did lie the GAME changed. I will have a complete inventory of the so called repairs. The lies. 1)the hood HAD TO BE REPLACED IT COULD NOT BE REPAIRED, 2) GUARANTEED 2 TO 3 WEEKS TOPS and it took 5 full weeks, 3) the right tire front needed replacing, I have a mechanic stating that the wheel was never impacted and did not need replacing and the alignment was because you wanted to sell a single tire. 4) I was told that when all of the repairs were complete that I would receive a DEPRECIATION of 15 to 20 percent (their exact words) and I would have a report with 2 professionals that would back it up. I was told that this was part of the service. When the vehicle was returned I got the $450 version of I needed to go to this specialist and pay $450 for the state formula... Like I said I was told that it would be provided and that professional appraisers would stand behind the quote and it is part of the service. I was told by the (?) owner that this person was not a qualified appraiser (1st time I heard that) and that he should not be talking to customers. This actually seemed like an act and a normal thing. 3 card monte, spin and shuffle and attempt confusion. After searching reviews for good auto body repair shops, we came to "Top Notch Collision" and had an awesome experience. Our 2013 Sonata was the victim of a hit & run by a car or something that left a nice size dent with paint chips on the driver's side quarter panel. We received 3-4 estimates on this repair before deciding on "Top Notch". Alan is definitely the man to talk to. He's friendly, professional & has overall excellent customer service. From the first day estimate and all through the process he explained the necessary work and process that needed to be done and why they did it that way. He made us feel comfortable with the workmanship & safety of our car. He even gave my husband a tour of the shop so he could see where the work was being done. He and some of the crew came in on the weekend to complete the work (normally open m-f 8-5), and we closed out on a Sunday because it worked out better for our work schedule.
