My wife and I took our son to Suwanee Town center last Sunday to play in the water fountains. Luckily (or should I say unluckily) I found a spot between two trucks. After playing for an hour we decided to head home. When we got to the car, I discovered dents on both sides of the car. Aggggh!!!! We are new to the area so I decided to do some research and discovered a reputable place close to home. I narrowed my search to 1st sight. I googled the directions and when I got there I realized I have seen this place hundreds of times. Our route home takes us to the intersection of Mcginnis and Buford and everyone knows the long wait. To my right there is a always a rv parked with dent repair written on the side. I made an appointment for an estimate with the owner Larry. He told we what he could do and we agreed on a reasonable price. When I picked up my wife's car, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the results. Larry does excellent work, and takes a lot of pride in what he does. I have gone to him a couple of times, first for paintless dent repair and then again for Teflon coating on my SUV. I was dismayed that my car kept getting these spots on it that could not be wiped off. I eventually realized it was sap coming from trees in the parking lot at work, but by the time I took it to a professional it had to be buffed out because it was already etched into the paint. Larry helped make the car look like brand new again, and the Teflon coating, although temporary, and needing yearly reapplication will protect it. Larry is extremely professional and accommodating. He did the job in one day, and even offered to drop me off at home when I didn't think I had a ride. After finally paying off my car, I thought I'd invest in freshening it up. Getting a high quality professional paint job was going to be at least $10 - 12k for my car. I didn't want to go that route as it wasn't horrible. It just had so many dings, dents and scratches to count. Larry was able to take care of me for a fraction of the cost! I was amazed at what he was able to do as he went above and beyond on my car with the buffing, sanding, waxing, shining and everything else he does. When my new (to me) car arrived after shipment from another state, there was a series of small dents in the roof of the car. I was able to get the shipper to pay for the damage, but now the hard part of finding a reputable repair shop. Insert 1st Sight Auto! I did some searching online and found this shop. I have driven by this place hundreds of time and never noticed, except for a little sign that said " dent repair ", and had been meaning to take my car by there, and get some minor repairs taken care of. Finally did it. Larry is the owner, and does most of the work himself, super nice guy, and excellent work. He does everything most guys cannot do, a super detail, dent and scratch repair, clay polish down to the clear coat and reseal, upholstery repair, wheel refinishing, match and repaint the bumpers, everything. Mr. Larry Pettiford with 1st Sight Inc. is a genuine, honest gentleman. We took our 2006 Infiniti G35 to his shop to have a rather large door dent repaired using "paintless dent removal". While he had it, we had him fix two knicks in the windshield that were going to cause problems in the future. The windshield is perfect, and the door dent was repaired extremely well. He was accurate with his upfront quote and with the level of repair he would be able to achieve, and did not try to charge us anything extra. I recently took my Suburban to Larry to fix a dent and deep scratches. I was concerned that the repair would be noticeable, but I did not want to re-paint the entire rear quarter panel because I knew that it would not match the rest of the vehicle. Larry explained in detail what he would do to fix it. He was very easy to deal with and got me in right away. I have been bringing my cars to Larry for detailing for years. He always does an impeccable job with outstanding customer service. This past week, he serviced my 2017 Audi S8 that included 2 paint scratches on my bumper from an unknown source. One scratch included some yellow paint. Larry did a beautiful job on my Lexus RX350 and his price was VERY reasonable. I had paint rubbed off and scratches from unknown parking lot events that I wanted removed. My personal trainer recommended Larry. The job took less than a day. I dropped the car off the night before and Larry stored it in the garage for safety and to have the temperature right so he could begin right away. Larry and his team at 1st Sight Auto is one of my favorite people with whom to do business with. We've had some pretty sizeable dents in both of our vehicles - and Larry has worked miracles to get them out. He is very clear in his pricing up front and explains that while he can't always get the dent to look 100% he'll get it to look the best he can.
