I will never go anywhere else. I got into a slight fender bender a few months ago and ended up going to another shop per the request of the other party. They completely messed up my vehicle. The paint color didn't match, the bumper wasn't on right, and I now had water in my tail light. I ended up calling Georgia Paint and Body just absolutely upset. Brian was able to come out and look over my car with me. He was super nice and understanding of my situation. He talked me through what he thought needed to be done to the vehicle, but assured me that he would make sure it would be done right. I dropped my vehicle off on July 5 and was able to pick it up in July 8. They're really great about communicating with you to remind you of your appointment and calling you when your vehicle is ready. I never had a negative interaction with any of the staff. A while back I fell on the hood of my car while walking in the rain and I had my umbrella in my hand. I thought the umbrella handle had put a gash into the paint on my hood. I took it to Georgia Paint and Body asking for an estimate to get it fixed. They looked at the scratch went into the shop, came back out with some solvents and some wax. It turns out the scratch was not in the paint on the hood of the car but residue from the umbrella handle that had made a mark on the hood. They buffed out the scratch reapplied some wax and didn't even charge me for any of the work. They were super nice and helpful and, God forbid, if anything more serious does happen later on, I will definitely come back to them for service. read more

It is hard to find a body shop these days which do fair work at a fair price. My wife recently hit a big chuck of a tire tread and knocked out a fog light and sensor in the bumper. Lexus wanted over 1000.00 to replace. Insurance wanted us to go to a body shop to make sure the bumper did not need to be replaced. Wife read reviews and went to Georgia Paint & Body. The owner Bryan told me wife it just needed to put it back everything was working fine. Said leave it a few hours. Came back and the owner would not even take payment. Said it was just minor and less than a hour. So wife left our daughters car for them to look at the bumper which she had hit a corner plastic bumper and was hanging down 6-8 inches with duct tape. She took her car home so we could go back in the evening to get the other car. The next day I noticed that they had fixed the bumper on the car. Never said anything and we did not see it that night in the dark. Seems the owner stayed late after closing and fixed it. Seems no big deal. Well we own them lunch and called to express our thanks and their are good honest people still in the automotive world. They fixed my bumper on my 07 civic after someone rear ended me. I liked their shop, saw they had good reviews, and decided to go with them. They dealt with the insurance company so I didn't have to. On the actual work side of things, they did an excellent job. The paint is matched up pretty well. They even buffed out the big scratch down the side of my car where a lady hit and ran on me a year ago in Atlanta! I like them. Only complaint would be that the edges of the bumper look rough, not smooth like the factory paint job on the body of the car but I don't know enough about paint jobs to know if that's fixable and truthfully, after the disaster I had with the rental agency, I'm too lazy to go back and talk to them. My son took his car to Georgia Paint & Body two years ago to have the back end repaired after he was rear-ended. Following the repair, the car was kept primarily in covered parking. Fast forward 2 years and my son's car is now sitting outside. We noticed that the car started steaming up after it rained and developed mildew. We eventually determined that it was leaking around the repaired rear hatch and was pooling water in the spare tire well. I called GP&B not expecting much (it was 2 years later, remember) but figured it was worth a shot. Brian immediately offered to look at it and see what they could do to make it right. Immediately. Initially went to another place first because it was closer, and this place was 15 minutes away, but it was so worth the trip, and the good reviews hold true. The other car shop told me the scratch on my front bumper would've been $600 to repair, but the manager at Georgia paint and body took one look at my car, grabbed some solvent, and polished it good as new (and it was a preowned car!). If I could give 10 stars for this company I would. The quality, professionalism, service, and efficiency is top-notch and surpasses any other body shop. I met with Michael for an estimate for my Infiniti G37 and he was very friendly and informative. Being a female, sometimes we fear being taken advantage of in this industry since some may perceive we might not know as much. With that said, I dropped my car off a week later on a Monday and Michael stated the car would be ready by the end of the week. He provided daily detailed updates and even when he found that additional parts needed to be ordered for the repair, he assured me that it shouldn't cause too much of a delay with completing the repairs. I had expected a few extra days since the parts had to be shipped but to my surprise he informed me that my car was still finished on time. The work done was absolutely superb. I didn't have much exterior damage but at first sight I could tell the work they did was of the best quality. My car looked brand new! We all know how frustrating and inconvenient getting a car repaired can be, but GA paint and body has made this whole process so painless. From the front desk, to working with Michael, then to the finished product you need not to look any further for another body shop. On a recommendation from Larry at 1st Sight Auto I went down the road to get an estimate here for a bumper bruise. Michael was able to work me in without an appointment. He asked my objective for the fix (I was simply looking to get it snapped back on) and came back with a "give me 20 minutes" . Was I thrilled as this was coming out of my own pocket. The metal work and paint job on the vehicle was excellent. The shop even cleaned the car inside and out which most shops do. They cleaned out a pesky spot on the drivers side. Coordination with the insurance company could of been a lot better. The only issue which I noticed was the desk customer service lady was a little biased to certain cultures. i noticed preferential treatment to some. I thought it could of been a bad day for her, however when someone called about the vehicle and why wasn't our party informed that the vehicle was ready. She used an outdated number from.? The insurance had the accurate number but she left a message and didn't follow up with us until we called a week later asking about status on the vehicle. The front desk lady Amber got very unprofessional an appeared to get a bad attitude when we just asked why didn't you follow up since you haven't heard from us? You just don't leave a message an never follow up if the vehicle is ready and your dealing with insurance and rental car issues. We felt like we were getting treated in a prejudicial manner. I don't have to tell you how perceptions and bad publicity can ruin a business. Everyone should be treated equally, and i was in there a few times and noticed some were treated better than others from the customer service part.
