After scheduling an appointment and confirming a time, I took a long drive from McDonough up to Norcross in the rain at my appointed window. Upon arriving the man behind the counter looked completely lost and irritated that I was there. He then told me that the person (Mike) who had scheduled my appointment time had left on vacation and not let anyone know I was coming. They refused to take my vehicle and had no remedy. They told me to go home. Glad I drove over an hour for nothing. Maybe they do good body work. I wouldn't know. The front of house is too disorganized and discourteous to find out. read more

This is my second time bringing my car to this shop. I had a good first experience so Nu Look was the first shop that came to mind when I needed my car repaired. Mike the owner is quite but professional. Repair prices are always reasonable & fair, I do not feel like I am taken advantage of as a female. The repair time has been quick both times. They worked with our insurance company, so I can't speak to them as far as if I had showed up with a damaged car trying to get a quote out of my own pocket. But they worked perfectly with state farm, the work they did was beautiful, and I loved all the communication. They basically keep you in the loop every step of the way, and give you an accurate estimate of completion time. We had to take two cars to them. They did bodywork for my car, and my husband had a broken front window in an attempted break-in. They replaced his window and some damaged trim, and his windows had been tinted, so they made the phone call to the window tinting place to get an estimate to include to insurance as part of our claim, since they don't tint. Yes, it was a quick phone call for them, but they made the effort. The bodywork done on my car looks undetectable. We were told they stand behind their work, and it has a lifetime warranty. So that's pretty amazing too. read more

I never leave reviews, but I could not help but to highlight the superior quality and service NuLook Auto Body has performed. I had to take my Infiniti Q50 up here for some front end repairs through my insurance company. The drop off process was smooth & seamless. NuLook had coordinated everything with my insurance company prior to drop off, so all I needed to do was drop off the vehicle & keys. Keith, the owner of NuLook, offered to call/set up a rental car for me, however I had did it prior to getting there. Him even offering to do that meant a lot. While my car was being fixed, I had to go out of town for a few days. Although the car was finished before I returned, Keith allowed my vehicle to stay on premises and protected until I returned. Keith explained the full process in detail for me and at most places it would have taken over a week to order the parts/repair my vehicle...but at NuLook it took a mere 3 days from drop off to completion. I never imagined it would be so quick. The car was returned back to me in tip top condition and looked phenomenal. NuLook even took the time out to wash the car so that it was beautiful when it was picked up. Overall, NuLook Auto Body was EXTREMELY professional, personable & easy to deal with. When I brought in for inspection, the owner would NOT honor The Nu Look Life-Time Warranty. After trying to reason with the owner, that reached total resistance. I was at fault in rear end collision and the damaged party requested we use Nu Look Auto Body for the repairs. After bringing the car in and having it looked over, the gentleman behind the counter tells me, and I quote - that with his "20 years experience it's easy to ball-park the damage at $3000-$3500." - verbatim. I sign off to have the work started, and ask him if he can offer a discount since I'll being paying in cash. Foolish on my part (but lesson learned) because upon hearing that insurance wasn't going to be looking over the invoice, that sweet cash discount he was cooking up for me, while doing the work, brought my new total to $5500. I wonder how many veterans of the trade routinely misquote prices for fender bender repairs by more than 55%...? Sounds thiefy when I saw it out loud. I had the whole side,of my 14 sienna van repaired here. The receptionist Keith,seemed incoherent,an high strung. I had to repeat myself, several times with him. Mike was the estimater. He was arrogant with ignorance. It took 4.5 weeks for my supplement to be approved. Before they could order parts an start repairs. It took about 6or7 weeks, before it was ready. The paint job was terrible. The color almost matches. There is specks of trash every where. There is more texture like a orange peel,than the unpainted side. My new sliding door has runs, trash,an dry spray all on the same panel. After reading Misty N review about the Glassdoor employee review. I don't think it's best to have them sand an buff it. While I was there, I witnessed a body tech with no toolbox. He had all his tools piled on a table,an scattered across the floor. read more

I had the Nu Look autobody repair the damaged rear-end of my mustang. The damage was about $2500.00. After weeks they told it was complete. I saw it and immediately noticed the bumper was crooked, paint job had dust and hair in it and the bumper bulged out at the sides. Lastly, paint was not blended on at all to match the existing paint. They said they would fix it. When I returned the second time the bumper was the still mis-aligned, the paint was better but now has bubbles and pits, they said would not blend the paint and the bumper still stuck out on the sides. The third time i returned they bent the trunk lid to mask the crooked bumper, the paint was even worse and it now had drips on my tail lights. The car was filthy, the bumpers still stuck out on the sides. They gave several excuses then tried to blame me and said the car was already in bad shape. At that point they instructed me to pay and get out of there shop! Lastly, when i got home (I live within 500ft of the place) I then noticed the license plate light was cracked and painted black and that it also did not fit and fell out. they is also swirls in the paint from the bad polishing job done. read more

I had a bad collision on my Audi 2014 A5 back in September 2015. There was damage to the quarter panel on the right side of my vehicle and needed replacing. Through my insurance's list of certified body repair shops, i found Nu Look Auto Body and brought my vehicle in for inspection. Due to the lack of online reviews (which meant there were even less unreliable reviews), I was initially hesitant to bring my vehicle to a non-Audi collision place but after talking to Mike, I felt at ease with leaving my vehicle there for repair. Once the repairs were finished (under 2 weeks and as promised), my Audi looked like a brand new car all over again. It amazes me when I read negatives reviews posted about their business as my experience with them was phenomenal. Disappointed. I was recommended by my insurance company. Although things started off great, It was not a good experience. I spoke to Mike about a window regulator after we took care of why my car was at the shop initially. Mind you I had the part already. I ask Mike how much wood it coast to fix it. He stated $50 to 85 dollars. I said ok. After its all said and done he then tells me that it's gonna be 200 bucks! So I asked him why is it so high when you gave me the price of $50 to $85 dollars. He said o its because of labor. now I paid $170 for the part. To get my car out I had to pay 500 dollars. Then you add on an extra 200 bucks. Which I did not have the extra money I had to go borrow that. If you give some one a price you need to honor it. To top it all off when it came time for me to get my car. He did not give me any paperwork about the window nor did he give me a receipt! so if something were to happen to the window, I bet they would give me a hard time about fixing it. So I ended up spending 370 just on a window alone! They will take advantage of you be wear!! read more

The most recent was a car that needed front end work and I was given an estimate and a time frame. The work was done before the expected date, and came in several hundred dollars less than the original estimate. I had work done on the front bumper of my car and it came out perfect. The estimate was very close to the actual charge. They handled all the insurance which was nice. Apparently, they are a preferred shop for State Farm which made it even easier and the work is then backed by State Farm. It took a bit longer than I was originally told which is not a problem. I just wish they had notified me instead of me having to call and find out the day it was supposed to be ready. Overall though, it was a good experience. read more
