Unfortunately, once we got it home, we quickly realized that it does not connect via USB as described. Instead, it constantly requires system updates that must be done over WiFi, making it far less functional than advertised. When I brought the issue back to the store, I was told that "SK didn't know," and no solution, replacement, or compensation was offered. That level of response is extremely disappointing--especially after spending over $700. I would strongly recommend doing your own research before purchasing from here and not relying solely on what you're told in-store. This was an expensive lesson for us, and the product is not nearly as functional as we were led to believe.

Great professionalism and a very reasonable price. This company is recommended by Ham Radio Outlet, a 30+ year highly respected company. I recommend it with the highest level. David M. Schiff, W4CLR

My experience with SK Customs started off pleasantly, but unfortunately it has become very…read morefrustrating. I spent over $800 on a radio installation, and shortly afterward I began experiencing electrical issues that appear to be related to the installation. Since then, my battery has repeatedly died, leaving me stranded and needing jump starts on several occasions. Having to rely on strangers for help after investing that much money has been incredibly stressful. When I first reached out with my concerns, I didn't feel like my issue was prioritized. Instead of being able to have what appeared to be an installation-related problem addressed promptly, I had to wait several days for an appointment. I barely made it back to the shop, where I was told everything looked fine and that I should be good to go. Unfortunately, I got home and experienced the exact same issues. Now I have to bring my vehicle back yet again to have it looked at a third time. I understand that diagnosing electrical problems can take time, but this experience has been a nightmare. I feel the situation could have been handled with more urgency and better communication, especially considering I paid for a service that has left my vehicle unreliable. I'm still trying to remain patient because, at the end of the day, all I want is a properly functioning radio and a vehicle I can depend on. I'm hopeful SK Customs can identify the root cause of the problem and make it right.

I narrowed it down to 3 shops and chose Glamour Auto Body Repair based on their reviews. I called on a Friday & spoke to Nick. Brought my car in that same day for an inspection & quote with Nick & the quote was lower than my insurance deductible. Was told that the repair would take 2-3 days. Dropped off my car yesterday morning and received a call today mid morning that my car would be ready by lunch. I was expecting it to be ready closer to the 3 day mark so this was a pleasant surprise. When I went to pick up my car the cost was still the same as the quote I was given. Both Daniel's (the manager & technician) were there during my pick and was very friendly. When I tell you my car is super squeaky clean! They did more than just fix the back bumper damage that I brought my car in for. The front of my hood had some wear & tear marks and they are completely unnoticeable now, thank you! My car looks brand new and clean inside and out, and vacuumed. Thank you so much to the entire Glamour staff for a wonderful first experience. It's not easy finding good auto body shops that have everything: great customer service, fair price, reasonable turn around time, and good workmanship but this shop has it all. I highly recommend them & now have them saved as my first contact for any future car work.

I was more impressed with Daniel every time we spoke/emailed. Excellent customer service! We have a family member who owns a body shop and his 'friends and family discount' estimate was more than Daniel's. He shopped around and got us the best price and even did a lot of re-wiring at no extra charge. They did a fantastic job on all of it. Looks better now than when we bought it! I would recommend Glamour to anyone.

I've now had two cars, one right after the other, repaired by Georgia Luxury Auto (GLA). I'll…read morenever go anywhere else. Here's why... The first car was done perfectly and on time. The second car was a whole other story because of complicated insurance issues. My wife was hit by the semi of a shipping company at night. I gave the info to GLA and the process began. And then the insurance process hit a great big snag. The first problem was the shipping company needed to determine whether they were going to cover the claim or their driver's own insurance, based on what they were doing at the moment of impact. Were they delivering packages? Were they done for the day, off the clock, and just driving home? So that took an inordinate amount of time -- not GLA's fault, of course. Then Garrett, the Estimator at GLA, submitted everything to the insurance company the at-fault people decided would cover the claim. If that insurance company were as diligent as Garrett was in trying to move things forward, it would have been done at least a week earlier. As it stood, the insurance company didn't pay much attention to the emails Garrett sent them and dragged their feet, resulting in delays for GLA. After days of not getting needed responses from the insurance company, Garrett had had enough. He escalated the issue to the owner of all the GLA locations, they worked out a plan to force things into motion, and it worked. The parts were ordered, the work started, and I could finally relax. The mark of a great repair company is not that it does everything perfect every time because that cannot happen; reference W. Edwards Deming's Red Beads Experiment for a great example. No, the mark of a great repair company is how they respond to and manage ANY issue, regardless of whoever is actually responsible, in the damage-insurance-parts-repair ecosystem. GLA resolved problems they shouldn't have had to resolve because they were the responsibility of other companies, but they managed them anyway. GLA -- especially Garrett -- tore through the spiderweb of other people's problems and got the job done. Bottom line: I don't know how the personnel of any repair company could have done more to earn my repeat business. GLA has it.
