Close your eyes and point. We closed our eyes and pointed about 5 times, and got quotes from each. Action Auto Glass came in with the lowest price. For the most part, glass is glass, so the lowest price wins in my book. They come to your car wherever it may be, glass was installed in about 1 1/2 hours. They did a good job. read more

Yup... These guys were cool. They are a mobile company that specializes in fixing windows and anything having to do with glass. And yup, my window just got smashed (gotta love that city living, huh?!?... Second time in 3 months my car has been broken into... 2 GPS's later, I am opting for a handheld unit). So, I called them on Tuesday, and they were able to come both that day and the next. They are reliable and friendly- I actually hung out with them the whole time they fixed my car. Plus, and unlike a huge corporation, they are a small business so I always like to support that sort of thing. Sorry if your car or glass got broken (they specialize in chipped windshields as well), but I assure that they will do a good job at a decent price. read more

Kurt was very nice when I first called. His quote was comparable to bigger companies so I figured I'd give the small, local guy my business. It took 3 trips to successfully install the windshield. It kept leaking. He was compliant with the repairs but never actually apologized for the leaking and inconvenience. He'd say things like "I hate having to come back as much as you." And he was pretty offended when I suggested a refund after the second leak. When the third time was done, we parted ways. A few days later I noticed the windshield looked funny. The glass was weird, like looking through someone else's prescription glasses. I though it was just me, but I took the car to the shop recently and the mechanic noticed it too. The weird bend gave me a headache at first but I'm used to it now. Anywho, I haven't contacted him about the weird glass shape, but maybe Kurt will see this and reach out to me? I'm trying to figure out if I want to fool with this further. At this point, I probably won't use Action Auto Glass again. but if we try and 4th time and it's right, that would restore my faith :) and I'd update this review :) read more
