Mills Auto Glass was a subcontractor on my windshield replacement. The good: installed a quality replacement part. Showed up on the scheduled day. Friendly technician. The bad: Broke clips inside and outside the vehicle. None were mentioned or fixed by the technician--they just left it broken. Technician used a razor blade to open the interior window surround panel. In that area my airbags are stored. So I took my vehicle to the dealership and they double checked that the airbags were not cut. Luckily air bags were not cut. However, the clips that hold on the window panel hard plastic trim piece were broken. The dealership stated that people have been killed when that panel comes off and that it was a severe danger to me and I needed it fixed immediately. After several phone calls, the contractor reimbursed for these damages. Not sure if Mills Auto Glass as the subcontractor reimbursed the contractor. I would never do business with them again. read more

They installed a quality replacement windshield and showed up within the window of a time frame he advised. My husband and a friend used him as well for replacements and no problems. His price was about half of what two other retailers quoted me. read more

Mr. Mills himself came out and provided first class service. He took his time and disconnected all of my sensors and removed the broken windshield I thought he was tearing up my interior with all those cut tools LOL but everything was intact. I'll highly recommend this company. read more

Mr. Mills installed the wrong windshield in our car. The windshield fit the car however it was not compatible with the camera safety system. Repeated attempts to contact Mr. Mills of his mistake were unsuccessful. We then contacted another installer who said that not only did Mr. Mills use the incorrect windshield but he also used the incorrect adhesive to secure the windshield to the vehicle and that could have been a serious safety concern in the event of an accident. In my opinion and experience Mr. Jim Mills has no integrity. read more

My car was broken in to after attending an event at The James Room (Auburn and Irwin Avenue). James and Ryan from Mills Auto Glass came to my home to professionally install my rear passenger glass. Ryan was super helpful on the phone in setting up the appointment and was very kind and understanding. They arrived earlier than scheduled and this was deeply appreciated. James led the glass install with over 30 years experience (that's my entire life!). He had great skill during the install and educated me on the process. He told me that when the robbers tried to get in they damaged the rotor but with his unique experience, he saved me a large sum of money by repairing it without extra charge. James and Ryan is a father son duo and I am so grateful to have met them. They vacuumed my car and took service to another level by removing the scratches (non-incident related) and sap from my car. Very disappointing when you try to support local small businesses and all you get in return is no calls, no show. I had an appointment with Mills Auto Glass for today. I asked him for a 20 minute heads up before he arrived and got a text from him at 8:00 a.m. this morning. Not saying he was on his way or anything only "Good Morning". I assumed that was my 20 minute heads up. However I didn't hear anything more all day and had to again reach out to him around noon for a timeframe. He replied with 4 p.m. (hopefully). That's the last I've heard from him. No show, no call, no text, nothing. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. I too have a life and waited my whole day for him to show up. I think it's appalling that someone expects others just to sit all day and wait on them without any call or any communication whatsoever. This is why people shy away from small business owners. Unprofessionalism. Still haven't heard from this person to this day. 7 days later. read more

I've been using James for a while now, at least the last 5 years, he's done two of my vehicles and a member of my families. All great work. He arrived today 30 mins ahead of schedule and did the work right in my driveway. I've never had any issues with any of the work he has done on any of my previous vehicles. He does fast and efficient work and even called and texted to make sure he had all the correct information prior to ordering the glass and the day before to also confirm the appointment. I've never used this company but I can tell you why I WONT be using this company. I was just driving back to work from my lunch break, going 55 in a 50 zone (following the flow of traffic) and one of their cars starts tailing me for about two blocks. Then he fly's around me, into a turn lane and cuts off another car, only to then swerve back in front of me, cutting me off, to tail the person in front of me. This kind of reckless driving is what gets people killed. And if you're going to drive like that atleast be smart enough to remember you're driving A BRANDED CAR. Not hard to find PARTNER (the drivers license plate). Sorry this review isn't based on their performance, but I can't imagine someone who drives this irresponsibly is responsible at their job. read more

While driving home from work today I had a truck pass me going at least 20 mph faster than any other vehicle on the road. This truck was a Mills Auto Glass service truck. Like must service trucks on the road this truck had a phone number one the side. So, I called the number to inform the office manager or owner of the reckless driving of their employee. When the person on the other end answered I asked if this was Mills Auto Glass, to which the person said yes, what do you need. I could hear what sounded like traffic so I assumed that the man answering the phone was the same man that was driving the truck. I asked him if he was in a hurry to which he responded, " Hell yeah I'm in a hurry, the F***ing idiots are driving to F***ing slow. They need to get the hell off the F***ing road!" So informed him that he was one of those people he was complaining about to which he promptly replied "F*** you motherf***er!" And hung up. I couldn't believe that a business owner would talk to any body over their business line with such crass disregard, on top of putting other people at risk with such reckless driving in a company truck. Any business owner that would treat the public with such disrespect and malice should not be given any business of any kind by anybody, regardless of the "good deal." read more

On time, good cost, nice guy all that stuff. Not happy at all with job. Made the mistake of having 2 cars done the same day rather than doing 1 and seeing how his work was. After 2 call backs, both cars still leak when it rains, my Lexus sounds like you are in a wind tunnel when driving on the freeway. They broke the high beam adjustment on the rear view mirror and never brought replacement. Black adhesive is in clumps around the window and in the Lexus I am finding it on seats and doors (must have gotten on a rag or someones arm - he was training a guy during the installs). Cost was great, but now ABRA is replacing both windows, so it is costing me even more than if I had went with ABRA or Safelite. Had Safelife do company vehicles in the past and much more satisfied. read more

For an entire week this company indicated they were coming out to service my vehicle. On one of the many days he didn't show up, he blamed me stating he called and texted me. I had no missed text or call from the company. Early the same day he called me stating he couldn't find me and was calling the wrong customer. Each time he didn't show, he never called until the next day with a new lie! Waste of my time. Bad service and I would not depend on this company.
