Excellent place with great service. I arrived at my appointment for a windshield replacement half and hour early and they were able to get me in right away because the person before me didn't show up. The staff was very friendly and personable. The waiting room is small with just about 3 or 4 seats, so if they're busy it would be best to just drop your car off and come back later if possible. If you do wait like I did, there is a TV and magazines to keep you occupied and if you need something to drink or munch on they have a little coffee machine and some snacks. Will definitely be back if I need more windshield repairs. (Crossing my fingers that I don't though!) read more

I see commercials all the time where they come to your home to fix a crack in your windshield. Looks pretty simple, right? Nope. Went through the whole process of giving all my information, ins info and everything and then was told they do not come to my area. 25 miles away. Will not come to fix a crack. So basically commercials are lies. Maybe they do a good job if you drive there, but they would not come here. read more

My windshield needed replaced as a rock had hit it and cracked it. I also had to have it recalibrated due to safety requirements. Safelite replaced the windshield and recalibrated it and did it in a quick manner of time. They kept me informed throughout the whole process via text messages. Friendly staff also. this place(and any safelite i'd imagine) are hot garbage. i had my windshield replaced by safelite through my insurance several years ago, only for it to form a small gap several years later, letting water pool in my back seat. at the time, i had no idea where the water was coming from, so i took it into the auto shop for a diagnosis. because safelite was not the first people to look at it the person i spoke with immediately went with the malicious route, claiming shops and individuals can cause this damage to get free insurance claims. my brother in christ, who the fuck has time for that non sense? i know you see videos of it online, but they vehemently denied me a warranty replacement. also, who takes their car into a glass shop first when it is having possible non-glass problems they may not know about? i ended up working with my insurance and they worked with another windshield glass company locally to put in a quality repair that won't sit there and bitch and moan if it happens to fail in a few years they'll replace it hassle free, even if they weren't the first ones to look at it. don't use safelite if you can, even if your insurance is trying to force you because they're a "partner" or whatever. read more

My SUV had a small front dash chip. I was able to schedule online to go to Safelite for repair. The Lafayette IN location is great! Everyone is very personable and knowledgeable. Madison did a great job! I forgot to add that I reallly needed new wipers and the young guy replaced them and showed me how. I tentatively went to Safelite and talked to them about some problems that I was having with a recently installed windshield- that was installed by another company here in town, who had already installed the same windshield twice-trying to get it right. I gave up with them and tried Safelite. Instead of charging me for a new windshield they were able to just reinstall the one I had, and it was done correctly the first time. Long story short, Bill at Safelite took care of me and I can highly recommend this business based on my experience there. read more

Don't use Safelite. They rescheduled multiple times taking a month to finally get the right glass. When we had a final date set the technician didn't show and when I called upset about it the technician lied and told his manager that I threatened him. When I called their shop the manager wasn't there so I promptly told them to take me off their schedule as I was going with another company. read more

We got a quote online, made an appointment for two days later. Upon arrival at our appointment, they tell us they got the wrong piece of glass. If we wanted the right piece, it would take longer and cost $150 more. Even though we put in the correct glass on the quote page. Waste of time, now it's the weekend and we're going to have to wait until Monday to get our glass in our car fixed. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND. read more

Needed to get our windshield replaced so called Safelite and that was a mistake. They gave us a estimate on the cost and said it would be over 800 dollars. We called a local auto glass place and they gave an estimate of 295 dollars. And both places will come to us to replace. Why was there an 500 dollar difference. Because safelite wants to take advantage of people in a bad spot. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I went in to get a small chip filled, they come out after powering on their loud vacuum system and I find that they've completely cracked my windshield. So I ended up having to get a whole new windshield because of their fuck up. If you want your chip fixed, there are kits you can get that will do a better (and cheaper) fix than these imbeciles. read more

They gave me several options of dates and times they could come to replace my windshield. The technician (Eric) showed up on time. Technician seemed like was in hurry to get done. There is plastic trash that is sticking out on dash board seems like it's stuck between the the windshield and window frame dried up in the beta. This is the 3 time I've had my windshield replaced in this car but first with safelight. And I'd have to say I've never had a road noise issue with front windshield until now after safelight installation. It's horrible. I recommend search for different glass company read more
