I could not be more pleased with my experience with Lafayette Auto Plus Collision Repair. I hit a deer and took my 2018 Dodge Charger to the "preferred provider" (Gerber) that my insurance company suggested. I have had a negative experience with them in the past and was not overly excited to use them again. The estimate they gave me did not cover all that was wrong with my vehicle, including safety issues. I got a second opinion at Lafayette Auto Plus. They pointed out two safety issues Gerber had missed, which could have meant life or death for my children who ride in the backseat of my vehicle. Gerber had also told me at least two months to get my vehicle fixed. Lafayette Auto Plus had my parts in and my vehicle fixed in 17 days. I had to have my front bumper, passenger side headlight, passenger rear door replaced and the passenger side of my vehicle painted. The rear door had to be replaced because the safety reinforcement had been bent in the accident (Gerber simply wanted to pop out the dents and repaint it - ignoring a safety issue that could be life or death, for anyone riding in the back of my car, if I were to get into another accident). They also worked with my insurance company to make sure everything was covered and went out of their way to do this. Ivan was extremely helpful with the whole ordeal and made me feel completely at ease with the whole experience. He made sure to give me updates on my vehicle and he personally worked with my insurance company so I didn't have to take time out of my day to do so. My car looks great! I could not be more pleased with the repairs and the excellent paint job they did. My car looks like nothing ever even happened to it! An added BONUS - they detailed my car! I highly recommend this team of professionals if you are needing collision repairs done to your vehicle. The guys at lafayette auto plus are very professional and great at what they do, we stopped in after getting referrals from friends and family. We were there on a Tuesday received the quote the same day, had us on the schedule for the following week. They communicated very well the whole time, would let us know the progress and when the finish date was approaching. A couple of years ago we had hail damage to one of our cars and my son said to try Lafayette Auto Plus, so we did and they did a great job and gave us the lowest quote, so when someone rear ended me in a parking lot we went back to them and they repaired the damage.
