I called and got my car on right away. No cost until they started working on the car. Called me first to confirm what I wanted to fix now versus later. How much it would cost now and the cost of the later fixes. Fast courteous, honest, and good work. I had been told by another service center that I needed a new water pump for $700+. No water pump issues and spent 320 with the fix and an oil change. Thanks guys!!! read more

This place every time is a 10/10. They always do a great job especially because I have a not so common car. They are quick and have great pricing. I have been here now for all my car troubles and no other places compare. Thanks guys! read more

Didn't have a very good experience it was a huge mistake they had me change 2 items that didn't even needed changed and blamed me because I didn't know I needed my car diagnosed and then argued I should of know that then it ended up being a 300.00 price for the actual part that needed changed including the labor so spent 900.00 didn't even need to spend read more

Super friendly staff that did quick and efficient work on my car. Great experience overall and I will definitely be back in the future

If I can give this place zero stars I will. I have never wrote a review let alone a bad review but this place sucks. Every since I've let them do work on my car it's been problem after problem. I went for one problem and they have told me it was 2 different things on 2 different days. Each time I paid to get the "problem fix" (that they said was wrong). However, I still have the same problem to this day. I will never recommend this place. They have done the same thing to my brother's car causing him problem after problem. JUST TERRIBLE!!! read more

They lied to me about what were wrong with my car and it was there for 6 weeks. I gave up waiting more, so I took it to another location of repair shop just down the road. They found the solution it was the battery was not starting. Automotive Solution was trying to tell me it was the engine was damaged. It wasn't. They just didn't want to take the time to look at it. 6 weeks there...geeh read more

I've been to this place quite a few times, and it is my "go-to" car shop. They would diagnose the problems and only do whatever is necessary but not more. And the charges are fair. read more

¡Engañosos! An entire radiator change for $608!!? My coolant plug was broken so my coolant was leaking. I went in for them to fix it. Jesús called me and said that they were "afraid" to remove the coolant plug because it could be broken and damage the radiator system. They told me I need an entire radiator change! I removed the broken plug myself and fixed the leak for the price of a $8 part. Dishonest people. read more

I requested an inspection and they told me what it may cost, they labeled it way over what they said then changed it when I questioned them. they sent me an overall cost and when I asked if that was with the warranty they told me they didn't call and find out because they don't know if it's covered. they didn't even try to find out. I went and got a second opinion when they told me what was wrong with my car only to find that every single thing they said was wrong was not correct. I wouldn't even give them a 1 star but it didn't let me do less. read more

I work long hours and I needed to drop my car off on a Sunday night just so I could have my car be seen, which I appreciated because it worked for my schedule. I needed my brakes/rotors replaced, my battery to be checked/replaced, and for a rattling noise to be checked, plus I decided I wanted my oil to be changed and oil filter replaced. They called me at work and said the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced along with my battery. I asked about the rattling noise and they mentioned that they heard it too but wanted to focus on the brakes and battery. I didn't have a lot of time to talk so I said just get everything done. Later on that day, they called me asking if they could keep my car another day (not sure why since they had all day to work on a simple brake/rotor and battery job). I didn't really have a choice since my work schedule wouldn't allow for me to get my car looked at again anytime soon, so I said sure. The next day my car was ready for pickup and I asked them to allow me to pay over the phone and pick up my car after they had closed and they agreed which I appreciated. However when I looked at the bill I noticed I was not charged for an oil change and there was no window sticker from them recommendeding my next one so I assume they never did it. Also when I started up my car again, there was that same rattling that they decided not to bother with. So I was charged for extra labor for the battery replacement and brakes and rotors but still have the rattling going on which I'll have to have looked at when I get the time to take it in somewhere else. Overall the work they did was good, just wish I would've gotten everything taken care of at the same time for as much as I paid them and for the extra time they had my car. read more

Have used these guys here and there over past decade and continue to enjoy the super friendly service, open and honest communication about what is what, and fair prices on the work offered. I had taken my old late nineties Lexus here in days past and recently my Civic. Both went in for minor issues that were addressed in good order and much better experience and overall attention to my budget then any dealer can come close to. They were quick to call back with updates and keep in touch throughout the stay of my Civic which due to a staff shortage took a day longer than they estimated but only because there was more work showing up as they went over the car then I knew about needing done. Eventually addressing shocks, brakes, hand brake issue, and commenting on my tire sensor pressure warning light being lit which was nice of them to notice; but I use Discount Tire for my wheel needs so no need to bother with that last bit. Really thankful to have these nice guys and a great location doing good work! read more

I had a unique and embarrassing issue where I was unable to get my license plates off to change them after moving states. The screws were rusted and stripped and after trying myself multiple times and having friends try with their tools, I decided to take it in to ask for help. The place was super busy but Jesus and Jose were so friendly, helpful & accommodating. I felt bad having to ask to use their time with something so silly, but they took care of it for me! read more

"If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself." That's what I've always been told. But even though I'm a pretty handy guy, there's not much I can do when it come to repairing my vehicles. So I want it done right, but I can't do it myself. That's why I've been taking my vehicles to Automotive Solutions for years, and I have no intention of stopping any time soon. Over the last couple years, beyond just the routine oil changes, I've had to have a radiator replaced, the airbags addressed, and one of my engines completely rebuilt (I know, bad car luck). And every time I go in there, Antonio helps me feel assured that my cars are in good hands. If there's something wrong, he'll tell me honestly what it is and what it will cost to fix it. If it's something that should get fixed soon but doesn't HAVE to be fixed right away, he'll tell me that too. Their pricing is fair, and their workmanship warranty is excellent (though I've never had to use it..they do it right the first time). At this point, I would have a hard time taking my vehicles to anyone else, because I know that at Automotive Solutions I'll be treated like a customer and not like just another broken car to fix. read more

My car sat in the shop for anywhere from 4 to 6 months without even being touched just recently they got a cylinder head in for my car which is actually a common car cause I drive a Ford fusion they just got a cylinder head and sent it to a machine shop got it back and now they're saying it's gonna take them two weeks to even just get my cylinder head and not only that but I'm being charged two grand for everything. I've been without my car for 4-6 months. My fiancé and I have been struggling to make ends meet with getting back and forth to work and getting our daughters. Do not recommend this shop. I will now be going to a different shop. read more

Being new to Lafayette it was refreshing to find a gem like Automotive Solutions! Reasonable and honest - will return for regular maintenance on our Mini Cooper. Clear explanation of our repair options and follow-up from Angel - overall a good experience. read more

Had some minor wiring work done here and they provided excellent service. I mainly interacted with the owner, Jose, and his employee, Frank. They were both courteous, funny, and professional. It's a small shop where they treat you like family. They were very busy but were excellent at keeping everyone updated on their vehicle's status. Despite the number of customers, I was in and out in a timely manner. Their prices were fair and the work was of utmost quality. Their gravel lot was quite muddy but they didn't track any dirt into the vehicle. They left the interior in the same exact condition as when I left it. For the Spanish-speaking population in Lafayette, you will find the staff here is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. I would highly recommend checking this business out and getting a quote from them for any automotive repairs you need done. read more

What's most important when it comes to auto repair? Price? Service? Trust? I know when I take my vehicles to Automotive Solutions that they will find the problem and resolve it quickly and economically for me. Our car was just towed to them after hours one night. I called them 5 minutes after they opened up the next morning to see what information I could give them & they started working on it shortly after. Our car was ready for us by 5:30 that night. They had to replace both front coil springs (because one had broken), both front struts (shocks) and they also replaced the front brake discs and rotors. Plus mounting, balancing a new tire, and performing an alignment. The bill? Approximately 15% to 20% less than what I expected! And my car? It handles better than ever! read more

I've never had a problem with this fantastic auto repair shop. They are very nice, and the price is very reasonable given the high quality. They also give 10% discount for students which is a plus! read more

This shop is like a dream come true! Unbelievably honest, super fast service, and friendliest staff in town. We would not even consider using another auto service shop. You won't be sorry entrusting your vehicle to Automotive Solutions! read more

They did a pretty good job fixing the anti-theft device on my car. However, not only did they forget to put the center console back into place when giving me the keys to drive it home, but in a twist of irony for what they fixed, they stole the change I had in my cup holder! I understand that it's common practice to remove your belongings before taking your car to a shop, and I did, as I removed my emergency roadside kit, socket set, etc., but the change slipped my mind. They would've received a much higher review if they had not done this, as the work was done for a fair price, but I value integrity above all else, and this shop doesn't seem to care about that very much. read more

Had my car repaired in their store and changed to a brand new oil tank. When I got my car checked in another place, the mechanics told me that they didn't give me a brand new oil tank but a used one. So i need to change it again. They are good at giving customers fantastic promises but never fulfill their words. Be cautious if you want to do repairs here. read more

I'm not 100% convinced my brake job is going to last since I had to take it back to have it tightened up but they do have good customer service and are very nice. I will update in a month or so once I know for sure how the work holds up. read more

We have been bringing our vehicles here for a few years now and have been beyond pleased. I cannot speak highly enough of Jose and how he runs his business. These guys do a great job and are honest. They won't try to scheme you into excess or unnecessary repairs. They are very reasonably priced also (one of the best priced service and tire centers in Lafayette). They are also bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently. Very nice Person！price is reasonable. 4s asked $800 to fix my c63 dent and they cost only $200

These guys were great. They took care of my car when it was in poor shape. As a college student finances are tough but they were affordable. Their prices were cheaper than the other auto repair shops in the area. They ordered the parts when I called them and were ready with them the next day. I will definitely come back for all my auto needs. read more

Took my car here because there was oil mixing with the coolant. They had my car for over two weeks (it was supposed to be a 4 day job). After I got my car back i noticed that there seemed to be a small coolant leak. i took it back in a few weeks later when I was sure and they told me there was no issue. Right after they checked it out I took my car to my sisters and white smoke started to billow out of it. The morons did not put my radiator cap back on! A few months later and i still have a leak from somewhere that is getting noticeably larger. So I took my front end off and started looking around. The Radiator is cracked. The same radiator that they told me was not even 6 months old and was in perfect condition. So now I am replacing it myself. It you want to have friendly people they cover that. If you want you car back on time...fail. If you want competent service...fail. If you want honest service...fail. read more
