As far as I'm concerned, Rick Williams is hands-down the best reason to choose RW Collision over the myriad other body shops in the city. Incredibly skilled, possessing a jolly sense of humor, and steered by a Christ-centered compass of kindness and integrity, Rick made my body repair experience incredibly stress-free and enjoyable.
I highly, highly recommend RW Collision for reasonably priced, top-notch body work. Oh, and terrific customer service is a bonus, too!
Now, for a more detailed account of my experience:
Earlier in the year, someone had damaged the rear door of my car on the driver's side. Because the damage was so close to the front door, every other body shop I visited told me that they couldn't paint the rear door alone because then its color wouldn't exactly match the driver's door. Instead, they'd need to fan paint over onto the driver's side and then blend the colors so everything looked seamless. Don't get me wrong, that's perfectly reasonable, so I was prepared to fork over the extra cash for the fix.
But when I brought it to Rick, everything was different. His no-nonsense, yet caring demeanor was very refreshing, and you could tell by the way he carried himself that he took pride in his work.
But the best part was what he said after he saw the damage on the car: "Let me see if I can save you the money. I'm pretty confident I can do just the back door and get the color to match." As a not-so-wealthy grad student, that appealed to me! When I dropped off the car, Rick got me a ride back to my house (no charge) and then went to work on my car. I left it there for just three days (Monday-Wednesday). The whole time, Rick was always accessible by phone and was happy to give me updates on the car.
When I arrived on Wednesday, I immediately went to check that the color matched and was stunned by the superior quality of the job, on full display in the sunlight. Completely seamless transition from the driver's door to the rear door - an exact color match. It looked like the car had rolled right off the assembly line. Meanwhile, Rick just stood off to the side, beaming proudly.
I was one happy customer! On top of that, Rick stands behind his work and will make any tweaks (at no additional cost) until you are 100% satisfied with the final product.
