I expected better R.D.! I never saw a call from your shop as to when my car was done. I called multiple times from 3:05 pm Friday up until your shop supposedly closed...no answer, no call back. I've called your shop constantly and never get a return call. My device may be faulty or I was never alerted as to what to expect from it. It went off after only a few minutes from leaving your shop! I was in traffic and didn't know what to do. How long have you been installing these and why couldn't you have alerted me to potential problems with it instead of letting me experience them myself with no guidance? This review is purely for the customer service. I bought a vehicle in August and it had a post-dealer remote start installed. Some time in October I must have accidentily put it in valet mode. Remote starts have this mode so if you are working under the hood no one can start the car amd hurt you. Another car starter place told me that mine was serviced or installed at Sound Check. I walked in today and was promptly and pleasantly greeted. I explained to him my situation. Without hesitation, he walked to my car and reengaged the remote start within two minutes. I had tried to do it myself using the manual but couldnt. Im thankful for his help!!! read more

My Name Is Justin Hayward Rap/Hip Hop (Artist Lil' Eric).- associated to Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg and the west coast..... i came into town from California, to visit my mother/ family and i had my stereo audio equipment with me, and wanted to get it installed i brought it all the store the.... guy (manager) who i read right away, had an attitude and not very friendly (talkative) as i came into the store came out to my car and quoted me on the spot that day for 429 $$$.... i come back a day later to get it installed and i ask him the price he says its 496$$ plus tax. i say sure go ahead and install it, soo i wait a bit upstairs which the lounge was chill got nothing bad to say about the lounge!!! very comfortable..... the manager comes in after id say a good bit of time 2 hours and says my sub is blown mind you (I knew it wasnt) he was trying to get me to spend more money in the store. soo i go down stairs, and pay the price tag which they did a good job with the install from what i can see, but i leave and i say okay im going to test my sub i call my homies up in town and they used to work for auto graphics before they closed down and he tests the sub (which i knew was good) and says its working on the meter..... so i say okay (we going to go back the next day) i doo i drive up the next day after the install me and my friend Jono and we call them out on they (shady) crap he tried to pull trying to get me to purchase a sub from them when clearly my sub was good from the get GO. the manager tries to get an attitude, up front with me and jono and gets loud we straight said the SUB is working, and he gets angry when we called him on they shit. the amplifier they hooked up is a 4 channel watt mono (CRUNCH) on a rockford fausgate P3, on the 2nd install they find out the sub is working and they hook it up.... (without BRIDGING) the sub to the amp soo its half way bumpin.... LOL.... this place has been called the best in the midwest by some i think they need a ***RE-CHECK***!!! on they sound testers !!!! and installers cause they obviously dont know what they are doing or just dont give a rats a$$ !!!! & and all about the dollar..... i would check out other places in town, such as (Performance Sound) cause this place i wouldn't recommend to anyone. **needless to say i bridged the SUB its bumpin the install is great now and my shit is all connected and working as its supposed to with HIGH performance sound (all pioneer audio) in the cabin with a fausgate p3 on 2000 watt crunch !!!! Dropped my car off to have a remote start installed.. was quoted $140-160... went to pick it up today and the bill was $270 almost double!!! Had a new head unit installed. Was given one price and then charged double with several issues. Very disappointed in quality of sound and craftsmanship. For someone that claims they are the best in town, I think I could have gotten this all done at Best Buy for 1/3 of the cost. read more

I had a deck and speakers installed by Sound Check in October of 2015, and then I promptly moved to the west coast. I moved back to the area, and realized something was done incorrectly on the install. (July 2017). I talked with the owner (RP) and he said he wanted to make it right. I went to Sound Check to have a remote start installed on my new Subaru Crosstrek in about July 2014. They told me they'd remove it for $25 and put it in my new car for $25 when I got rid of the car. Good deal. Drove the car for 3 years, using the remote start every cold night after leaving work. Worked great, no issues. Took the car back in about June 2017 to have it removed because my lease was ending. They removed the remote system and when I went to pay the $25, the owner told me they'd just charge me the $50 for the reinstall. Better than I expected. Overall, good experience. read more
