I really wish I could give this place 0 stars cause it seriously deserves it. This place is so unprofessional. Brought my car up TWO separate times. First time they kept it for two days. Go to pick it up to find out that they don't have the right part, so nothing was done. Bring it back a week later. Told us to come back at said time the next day. I get a call that day saying it won't be done for a few more hours then the original scheduled time. I head out there (it's an hour drive) at the new time, get there and now it'll be a few more hours. Drive around, come back and they said 30 mins. 2+ hours later and I'm still waiting. Brought my van with a compustar remote start installed somewhere else, it had major problems. They removed it and installed a better version at no charge! good guys to do the work, and very friendly! would recommend them to anyone! read more

Update: I initially left a good review, but I had a completely opposite experience on a new vehicle I brought in last year. It took nearly a month of regular visiting to get my speakers installed after I was told multiple times that they would be installed in the projected time period I was told. Furthermore, my car reeked of cigarette smell when I got it back, and after a month of driving, a massive amount of static would get into the speakers once I cranked it above 50% volume. I brought it back to the shop twice and I was told both times it would be fixed but I would never be fixed, the horrendous static sound would remain. I figured my speakers were messed up permanently, so I gave up on this shop. read more

Brought in my Mercedes Benz to Performance Sound & Graphics, after sitting in there for over an hour listening to The Owner - Kevin Critser brag about his accomplishments, I actually almost left, now I whish I would have walked out of that place. I purchased an Alpine Stereo (Bluetooth, Nav, Touchscreen), Paid for it on the spot in total. 2 Days later went to pick up my car, and it was still not ready, after it was finally installed drove the car home, noticed the back speakers did not work, and there were crackling noises when it was turned on. Before I even was able to drive the car back to correct the problem - Airbags deployed on me and my Cousin, the inside of the Mercedes actually exploded due to Performance Sound & Graphics - Turns out, when they installed the Stereo - they broke the Airbag Sensor Mount, moved the Airbag sensor under the dashboard and installed it in a new location. They used liquid weld to put the sensor back in place on a pillar of Liquid Metal. My Mercedes is now going to be totaled. Kevin Critser's Insurance Company informed me the damages caused by their client "Performance Sound & Graphics" come to a total of over $8,500. I contacted Keven Critser yesterday and told him Mercedes Benz Dealership told me they have never heard of anyone ever breaking the bolts to an airbag sensor to install a stereo and that I should return the New Apine Stereo due to incorrect installation. Upon contacting Kevin Critser asking him for a refund - He said no, I can not bring it back for a refund because the Stereo was opened and Apline would not take back a stereo that was opened. On the receipt it states a 30 day 30% restocking fee on all returned items, interesting that Keven Critser did not even stock this item, he ordered it off the internet the first day I walked into his shop. The initial hour that it took him to start looking for a stereo for my car - he bragged about his accomplishments and told me he couldn't stand that most of the people in Lafayette were students that go to people they know to do installations like this and that he needed a website because he could not afford his webmaster anymore - This guy should not be in business - THANK GOD we were not driving on the expressway at the time the airbags deployed - it could have killed us. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS CHOP SHOP - AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL MEANS if you value your life and safety of others. I will now be retaining an attorney in order to bring the owner Kevin Critser to court on this matter. read more
