I had my first experience with Belle Tire, located in West Lafayette one year ago. At that time, I was extremely happy with their service and the Michelin tires I purchased. . I recently returned and had some additional work completed and spoke with Dallas on the phone several times and when I arrived at the store Lane checked my car in. . Both Dallas and Lane were very professional and helpful to say the least. In fact, prior to today, I had to reschedule my appointment a couple times around my work schedule and Dallas was very understanding and helpful. And when I worked with Lane today. He was extremely knowledgeable and committed to his work and making sure I had a good understanding of all my options for the service I thought I needed. Notice I said, "thought I needed"... that is because Lane explained to me that my car didn't need the service, and equally he advised me on several other things I might consider for future work given my Subaru has 118K miles on it. This was awesome... He saved me from an unnecessary expense, which is of great value to me of course. I was extremely impressed with their honesty and no pressure informative approach regarding other work I might consider given the milage and age of my Subaru. . The above factors along, with the positive experience last year when I purchased my new tires, and the great nature and professionalism of everyone I have interacted with at this store, has bought them a lifetime customer. Geez on a trip and got a flat. Made it to this clean comfortable shop. I picked up a bolt. Amazingly they don't charge for flats! In an hour they had me squeezed in & on my way. I'd give 10 stars if I could read more

Always an amazing experience when getting services from this location. The management team and associates are extremely professional and take care of my family and me no matter who is in the shop requesting service. Brought my truck in with slightly bent stock rims and walked out with new alignment, brake check and newly balanced and rotated wheels for 1/3 of the price of the local dealership. Will continue to use Belle Tire until I PCS to another duty location because this location is military family friendly. Wish more shops were like this one. Best prices within 100 miles! read more

Beware! Do NOT go to the West Lafayette Belle Tire location! (Would give a zero rating if it was possible...) In October, I returned to Indianapolis after a flight from Los Angeles. MY TMS (Tire Monitor System) sensor came on when I started the car after sitting at the airport for four days. My regular trusted mechanic of 25+ years recommends Tire Barn for simple tire repairs (new tires, fixing a flat or low tire, etc.), but the nearest Tire Barns all closed at 7pm. I went to Belle Tire in Whitestown IN simply because they were open until 8pm. They discovered that one TMS was dead, but said that a second TMS was very close to dying as well. I said to just replace the dead TMS, and I would get the other one when it finally died. I just wanted to get back home after my trip, and I was trying not to keep the Whitestown employees past closing time. The second TMS finally died in December, and my troubles began when I went to Belle Tire in West Lafayette. I only went there rather than Tire Barn because they had done the previous service and I wanted uniformity. My mistake! The West Lafayette Belle Tire replaced the second TMS, but my dashboard still indicated there were problems. They told me that the other two (previously working fine) TMS sensors were now the problem, so they needed to be replaced as well. This after keeping me an extra hour past my scheduled tire appointment such that I was late for another appointment following the TMS "repair." I was now out of time and my dashboard was still indicating problems! My regular trusted mechanic AND the Whitestown Belle Tire said NOTHING about the two rear TMS sensors, only that the front two needed to be replaced. So I had no choice but to drive to NYC from West Lafayette with my dashboard all out of whack and saying that there were problems with my tires. So a week later, after my NYC trip, they installed two new rear TMS sensors. Now I have FOUR brand new TMS monitors, and Belle Tire still cannot fix my dashboard. Now they say it has to be a problem with the vehicle and that I need to contact the dealer because they cannot help me with a problem that THEY created. To top this all off, my expensive prescription light sensitivity sunglasses "disappeared" while my car was being serviced. I wore them driving in to the shop, as I am basically blind on sunny days without them! When I asked where my sunglasses disappeared to, the manager said that he saw them in my console when he drove my vehicle in, but cannot imagine what happened to them. Then he shrugged and said there was nothing he could do. So I drove blind with cheap sunglasses for three days until my replacement pair arrived. Fantastic! I finally made an appointment with my trusted mechanic to look into the matter, but their appointments are weeks out, so I couldn't get in for some time. When I finally did, they discovered that Belle Tire had registered all four of the new TMS sensors to the incorrect megahertz (MHz) for my vehicle. Additionally, the four Belle Tire TMS sensors could not be registered to the correct MHz, so they were worthless and should never have been installed to begin with. My only choice was to purchase four new ones AGAIN, which were of course registered to the correct MHz. Problem solved. Simple problem CREATED by Belle Tire. Had an appointment first thing to get a screw in the tire thread fixed. Car was lifted. The tire was not taken out, screw was chalked (it was over an inch from the shoulder by the way). An hour later, they say that it is too close to the shoulder and that I need a new tire. Then they pointed out that my CV axle was bad and that I need new brake rotors. I took my keys, brought the car somewhere else and got the tire fixed for $10. If you are not too car savvy, looks like this place will take you for a ride. Beware! read more

I have purchased two sets, 8 tires, in the past 2 years at Bell because of price and store location. I have been satisfied until December 31, 2024 when I noticed a low tire warning light. Not being far from the Bell store I went in and asked for it to be looked at. Without leaving the counter the person told me to come back on January 2, 2025. I was shocked. It was a cold day and I'm 78 years old with many miles to drive during that time span. When I purchased the tires the sales pitch was low or flat tires were a priority. Stopped by yesterday, Friday afternoon, around 5p bc my 2021 Honda CRV was warning Low Tire Pressure. In under an hour the staff at the Westside Belle Tire had assessed the situation, found a screw in one of my tires. They plugged the tire free of charge. I dropped off my car after running over a screw and having a flat. It was 9:30am when I left it, and I was told it would be done by 11am. I got a call at 10:45am saying it is done and ready for pickup at my convenience. I wasn't sure what the cost of a repair would be (I didn't ask), but I was expecting $20-50 or so. Today, my college son had a flat tire and when he called me, I suggested he go to Belle Tire in West Lafayette due to the location and good reviews on Yelp. When he arrived there, they said he needed new tires and that his traction was low. I believed that made sense and quickly looked up on their website to see what they had in stock that would work on his 2011 Malibu. Their were three "featured" results that came up on their site. I texted my son a picture of the lowest cost result tire they had in stock that made sense for his car. He said they had already tried to upsell him but he shared with them that he wanted the lesser of the two options they provided him. Later, I found out that the lesser of the two options was still an upgrade ($150 more) from what I was provided as a result and that was in stock that would have worked for his car. Not happy with this situation as I believe my son was taken advantage of in this situation. Very disappointed with what happened here and will not being recommending Belle Tire in the future. Another great experience here. I had purchased 4 tires for an RV about 10 months ago here. When I went to take out the RV for the first time and a tire was too low. I took it right here and explained my situation. A great technician took it to the tire machine. He determined that's valve stem was not right. He aired it up and I am on my way. I drive for Uber/Lyft, and while I was working, my right rear tire started losing pressure quickly. I took it to the nearest tire place, which was a competitor. The tire was unable to be patched, and I was basically due for new tires anyway, so I asked them if they had what I wanted. They didn't. I was pretty upset. I called Belle, and they had what I wanted. Two days later I was back on the road. Every other tire place would have been two more days than what Belle was. When I went in, the manager even approached me letting me know I spoke to him previously, and that they would take care of me. I'm not too impressed with their after installation service. When I got new tires, they were like - anytime you have trouble or need assistance with a tire, just stop in & we'll get you taken care of. So today, my indicator says low tire, so I go in. Their response: oh we are booked every 1/2 hr & unless you want to wait 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, we can't get you in. Really guys, you don't have spots reserved for simple tire check walk-ins or atleast offer to put air in the tire until you can get it checked better. Not too impressed. read more

Had to stop because my tire pressure got low and I was 150 miles from home in West Lafayette, Indiana. The team at Belle were so nice. They found I had abad valve, they ordered the valve, had it delivered immediately and fixed it on the spot. They charged me nothing for this service, I had to at least tip the technician that fixed the valve. Because of this I will travel back to West Lafayette to purchase my next set of tires! Did not have to wait at all. They took my car right back. Granted I only had a slow leak in my tire, but they were still able to get my problem taken care of right away. I didn't have to wait long at all. The waiting room was very clean. I however chose to wait outside, which was also very nice. Thanks to Ash and the rest of the team for a great customer experience. While heading to host a tailgate party at Purdue (Boiler Up!), my tire began leaking rapidly. My vehicle was loaded with all the gear, food & drinks for the day. Needless to say, everyone was counting on my arrival. I purchased my tires here last yr. That first experience was terrible. They said the tires "would be arriving any minute now" 4 HOURS LATER they arrived. It was ridiculous. I sucked it up and thought maybe it was bc they had recently opened this location and we're working out the bugs. Next visit was for an oil change and tire rotation. Oil was changed, cabin filter $80 changed and battery as well (no charge) why? Because, I was sitting there for 2 hours this time. Also when I got into my car, I know they didn't rotate my tires as they said bc the tire that is always lower pressure was still the same and in the same spot. Ok. Now that tire that was low is how very low chronically. My appt today was at 10:30 to have it checked for a leak. It is now 11:30 and my car is still sitting where I parked it. They had a large camper they are working on and parking the monstrosity in front of 3 EMPTY bays which is why I am still sitting here and will most likely be here at the very least another hour if not more. Worst experience ever. I scheduled my cars tires to be changed and they estimated 2 hours. When I went in they said they were about thirty minutes behind. I didn't think much of it but I waited for 3 hours in the store before I asked what's up with my car. They said it shouldn't be much longer. I waited another hour and then they told me they grabbed the wrong file for my car and put the wrong tires on it. They said they would give me a free oil change and told me my car would be ready in 25-30 min. Then I had to wait another hour for them to just offer to change my air filters out. I didn't want my air filters to get changed, I just wanted to leave. Now I had been sitting in the store for 5 hours and I heard them call customers to try to get them to buy more expensive tires, and to also offer everyone more expensive air filters and other additions to make more money. They ended up wasting 5 hours of my life, made me miss my classes for the day, and made me late to work. On top of that, when I drove to work, my low tire pressure light came on. So they either didn't recalibrate my TPMS, under-inflated or over-inflated my tires, or they gave me faulty tires. Overall, I will never go back here. read more
