    I brought my vehicle in originally on March 26, 2026 1818 Bingle, for windshield replacement. While driving it to work the next day I could hear wind coming into my car and the windshield rattling, I called 832.214.4783 and spoke to Lenny. Lenny in formed me he was at a different location but to take my car back to the location where I had it replaced. So, I went Saturday April 4 2026 and was told I needed a warranty appointment in order for them to check my windshield. The appointment was scheduled for April 11th at 8:30. I bring the car in the service men test drove the car and said he could hear what I was talking about. He then took the car to the back while I waited in the lobby and probably an hour later he came inside to get me and stated they placed a new windshield in the car. He game me the do's and the don't. On my way home I could still hear the wind and the rattling from the windshield. I tried calling back and I got a voice recording saying they were closed and to call back on the next business day which will be Monday April 13th. It is now raining and the rain is leaking inside my car from the windshield and also dripping down on the floor. Please see pictures and videos attached. I hope you all can get this resolved before this issue causes other damage to my vehicle. I'm back at safelite for the 4th time. I'll update once they are done. I wish I could add photos to see and hear the horrible job they did.

    I recently had a poor experience with Safelite AutoGlass. My windshield was damaged, and I chose Safelite AutoGlass from Google as I knew they were a reputable brand. They recommended a windshield replacement since my damage spanned across the entire windshield. I opted for their standard and most popular package which included a new replacement windshield, expert installation, a nationwide lifetime warranty, and new wiper blades for a grand total of $430.13. I paid upfront and scheduled an appointment for the afternoon slot (12:00 pm-5:00 pm) on Friday, May 31st, 2024. I received a text from my technician, Jolana, at 4:44 pm saying she was 25 minutes away, although the time slot ended at 5:00 pm. I had taken the day off work, but she arrived after working hours. When she finally showed up, she informed me that the replacement glass was actually defective and that we would need to reschedule. We rescheduled for the following Monday, June 3rd, 2024 for the morning slot (8:00 am-12:00 pm). I let it go. On Monday, I took the day off work again, but nobody showed up during the scheduled time. I received a call at 2:07 pm from the same technician, Jolana, saying she would arrive shortly. When she attempted to install the replacement glass, she again stated that it was defective and couldn't be installed. She mentioned that the warehouse replacement windshields were weirdly all defective, and we would need to reschedule for another time. At this point, I was frustrated because I had taken 2 days off work, my technician didn't show up during the scheduled times, and despite pre-paying for the service, my broken windshield was never replaced as their replacement windshields were all somehow defective. I had to continue driving around Houston with my newborn child with the fear of my windshield shattering even further. This was completely unacceptable. I contacted Safelite AutoGlass manager, Tiffany Brown, to share my experience. She informed me that the glass which was previously looked at as defective on the first Friday was actually fine and that Jolana could come back to install it. Tiffany stated she would give me a $54.13 discount for my inconveniences which made the total job $376. Jolana came back and installed the windshield. Even though my windshield was replaced and I received a small discount, it was not worth the headache. I cannot recommend Safelite AutoGlass by any means. If you want to avoid this nonsense from happening to you, get quotes from other windshield suppliers.

    They fixed a Ford glass trim issue under warranty by replacing the one that shattered and the one that could give me future issues.

    They didn't replace the windshield with the same quality windshield and said they couldn't fix the UV masking on the new windshield.

Pulled in at 10:30 am and was back on the road by 10:55. Tim, the tech who took care of us could not have been more courteous and helpful. I seriously- for this day in time- need to PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS BEFORE I GO INTO A PLACE OF BUSINESS!!!!!!!! This Safelite location does THE WORSE and most SLOPPIEST work in my opinion. On my way to this place, I was nervous ( I do not typically like people in my car because when you get your car back, it will not be good. People do not take care of your stuff like you do). When I arrived, I checked in and then sat down. Moments later a VERY irate customer was yelling and saying words of profanity. He was ANGRY!! The more I heard he yell, I got even more nervous with my car there at this shop. Safelite employee threatened that he would call the police so he left shortly thereafter, but right before he walked out, he told all three of we customers- who were present- to make sure we check our windshields and WAS HE RIGHT!!! We began to chat amongst each other saying that we all were nervous with our vehicles there. When I got my vehicle back, I noticed things were out of place and broken just sitting on top of the car- they failed to relay this info to me. The trim (that goes around the windshield) was twisted, and either a piece of paint was chipped off or they did not pull the trim down far enough to match the other side of equality. I did not hand you my vehicle looking any kind of way- so do not hand my car BACK to me looking any kind of way! I mean this work was SLOPPY and LAZY!!! I knew that Danny- the tech who worked on my car- was going to be some sort of degree sloppy when I saw his pants hanging down and over his buttocks. If one dresses sloppily like that, his work mostly likely will be just as bad. I called/texted but they both went unanswered. I plan to pay a visit very soon to get this all corrected and rectified in case if a lawsuit come to fruition, I can honestly say that I gave them ample opportunity and time to correct all issues. When I called Safelite back to mention the issues, the receptionist answered the call having said "hello ma'am what's wrong with your car?" When she said this, she sounded as though she said it more than a dozen times per day that is is rehearsed by this point. I do not trust this place of business' work and at this point, I need to wait to see if anything leaks when it rains ( this was also an issue of one of the ladies sitting among us in the lobby waiting for our cars. She had been waiting for her vehicle- to get CORRECTED from the first time she was there- for four hours!) I hope that these issues can get corrected and I DO NOT EVER see myself EVER returning to his place of business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
