We got a stone chip/Crack to our windshield while traveling away from home. The local Safelight made an appointment at our closest Safelite to come to our home to replace the glass. Two very nice young ladies accomplished the task in not all that long. Including recalibration the camera and rain sensor. We were very pleased. We later found out something about Safelite in general. There is a strong possibility that the replacement glass you are getting comes from CHINA. It is not OEM glass. Wish I had known that because I would have insisted on OEM glass. Chinese products are, generally , much cheaper quality than American products. A session learned and a question to ask before have any glass replaced on your vehicle. read more

I had a rear window broken on my car. I attempted to contact Safelite to get a repair estimate. It is impossible to get a live human being to talk to from their automated system. Total garbage customer service. Calling the listed number for their Dubuque Iowa shop just shifts you to the automated system. read more

Stopped in on a Tuesday to get a price on a windshield for my 2009 Toyota Sienna. Told me a cost of $300 something. I was happy with that cause I looked on line and saw prices from $400-$1000 range on average. The guy said he could do it in a couple days just had to get the window from a city a couple hours away. I set it for a Friday. Dropped it at noon it was done by 1:30! I got there paid the same price that was quoted. Windshield was exactly the same as what I used to have with built in antenna and blue tint up top. Only difference was it didn't say Toyota in the lower left corner. This business runs as a business should. And As a business owner myself I was super happy to have nothing to complain about with this place. We have a 2004 dodge grand caravan and the rear window was busted out from my wife trying to haul a bike. I put tape and garbage bags up until I was able to get it replaced and so the process began , was quoted from couple places $300+ couldn't believe it, j went to safelite and wound up about $160 and the service was EXCELLENT!! It was a huge mess and the technician came and was quick, respectful, and professional, and was able to clean up 99% of glass that was everywhere. My 2015 Kia Soul windshield got hit by a lawnmower thrown rock. I was REALLY bummed. We checked with our KIA dealer and they gave us a price of over 800.00 AND we would have to wait some time for the windshield to come in. Safelite got us in in just a couple business days and the cost was under 600.00. They would have come to us for an additional 50.00 but they had a shop nearby (Dubuque, IA). Very friendly, knowledgable and professional staff. We are very happy with Safelite. read more
