I had my windshield replaced by safelite and the tech that did the replacement also damaged my vehicle while driving it after. I have it on video. I contacted safelite and have spoken with several managers for over 4 months now, they said many times that they would fix the damage. However, here I am 3+ months later and they were only willing to pay for partial repairs leaving me with not only 4 times going to their office with my vehicle, but my own time wasted in their partial efforts. But now they expect me to pay for the rest of the repairs of $1,200, but also more of my time wasted. Never use this company! Plenty of other options out there!

Blasted rock on the toll road got me good and the following morning, my window had a 7" crack. I chose Safelite to replace my windshield. I scheduled my appointment online. Entered my Info and VIN. We did have a glitch with them not having the right molding for my car. My car was very drivable with the crack being on the passenger side and it seemed reasonably stable. (spreading outwards, not towards the driver's side.) So we rescheduled and once they got what was needed, we did the installation and calibration. Despite the delay, I appreciated taking the extra time to get things right. I am leaving soon on a month long roadtrip and having that windshield secure and legal (in any state) was my biggest concern. The windshield looks great. The technicians were upfront and apologetic about the delay. And everything was completed in plenty of time for me to hit the road exactly as planned. Except those gravel trucks on I-130. Never plan on getting stuck behind one of those spewling rocks but it happens. I am grateful that my break was spaced out a bit from all the recent hail damage too. I was able to get my replacement when needed. The staff there are really nice. Helpful. Hard working people like the rest of us. I appreciated them a lot.

I gave a 1 star review due to really bad service at this location in early July. On July 18, I was messaged by their customer care rep, and said this issue was sent to local leadership. Here we are on 8/21/24, and still have not received a call from anyone. See my attached communications with them. This is absolutely unacceptable for any company, let alone a company of this size.

Terribly filled windshield speck

This wasn't the first time my insurance sent Safelite To repair/replace my windshield. As a fact, the technician had already taken care of other chips on my windshield prior to this time with excellent results. This one though, ended up looking worse than the actual star shaped crack on my glass. It looks like a stain that measures almost half an inch and is right in my vision field while driving, which makes it even more annoying.

My car took a rock to the windshield at 80 mph. In less than 12 hours, cracks had branched out 6 inches from the top and bottom of the impact mark. Making matters worse, the impact and crack covered my registration sticker. I was able to immediately schedule an appointment online with Safelite. The online scheduler was intuitive and user-friendly. I was able to drop my car off without waiting to see anyone, and my windshield repair was complete in about 4 hours, including re-alignment of the vehicle camera and my registration sticker - good as new!

Over the last few weeks, I was loading some wood in my suv. On one side there was a piece of paper and a staple. Well that side, was closest to my windshield. In order to get this in, I needed to slide the wood two inches to the left and it would fit. The moment I did that, I heard a noise. That noise was the sound of my front windshield cracking. The next day I got on the Safelite app and scheduled an appointment with ease. I plugged in my car insurance information, and within seconds I got an appointment. My insurance information was pulled in. From that point of view this process was seamless. On the day of my appointment, I was told up front that this would take about a half a day. Which it did and I was ok with that. The service rep called me to inform me that one of the services could not be performed due to Safelite Policy. I was extremely appreciative of him informing me and doing so in a calm manner. After the call we decided to continue working on the vehicle. I was able to revive the car and it looked brand new! All in all, seamless and stress free experience for me.

Jan 19, 2026 review: ----…read moreI went there on Mon morning around 11:30am and got my windshield rock chip repaired. Owner Mark was friendly and will give you quote instantaneously. Be ready to wait for few mins though as he is busy on phone sometime with other customers. He provided us both repair and replacement cost and gave us pros and cons of both. Didn't force to go for replacement, like some shops do. The repairs itself was very quick, took around 10 mins, it was done by Jason. He explained the process very calmly and answered all of our questions. The owner trusted his guys with repair and only came to see afterwards. Overall smooth experience and would recommend this place for glass related work.

I'm sure many of us these days are keeping all windshield repair places busy with the amazing (eye…read moreroll) construction job on Mopac. I had previously used Auto Glass solutions maybe a decade ago, so we called them again. They were swamped that day on their mobile service, but they said we can help you if you come into the shop. No problem! My husband had two newly acquired tiny rock chips and wanted to get it handled ASAP. He was greeted by a gentleman when he drove up. The guy hopped in the vehicle and inspected both places with a flashlight. He told my husband "yeah, we could fix those, but they aren't the kind that will get bigger. Are they necessarily bothering you?" My husband told him no. He said there was no need to worry about it. My husband thanked him for his service and opinion and said "what do I owe you?"... the man said "no charge". My husband tried to offer him a tip, he refused it. We were impressed with the integrity of this company! I tend to believe most folks looking to make a buck would have been like "yep, we're gonna need to fix those". Nice people still, after a decade of not needing their services. Looks like they're clearly treating people fairly or they would not have lasted. Give them a whistle! They fixed my windshield a decade ago and helped my husband recently. Big fans of this company!
