The crew was amazing, incredibly profeessional, polite, took excellent care with our belongings, and went out of their way to make sure everything was addressed. We were stressed about the move but it went so smooth, and they made it so easy, that we had nothing to worry about. We had them pack all of our belongings, best choice we ever made. It would have taken us days to do it ourselves and things would have broken along the way. They did it quickly and securely and it went off without any incidents. I have to move in a couple weeks. I need boxes in which to put stuff so I can have my stuff at my…read morenew place. I can't get these boxes by going by supermarkets, I need real boxes that have never been used. It's not me, it's my stuff - none of my things like to be anywhere where food, livestock or various sundries have been first. I have ordered from U-line in the past, but their shipping is outrageous, almost as much as the whole order. I did a little Google search and found suppliesformoving.com. At the time of the order, I had no idea they were in Brooklyn. The site is clean and all the information is readily accessible. One can guarantee that this website did not cost a lot of money, but it works. One of the best things about this company is that they have pre-prepared packages of boxes, tape, etc. divided by room and/or rooms which makes it a little easier. They have boxes for junk, boxes for tvs, boxes for lamps - are you following me here? They have supplies for moving - tape, blankets, plastic wrap, paper. So I go online and make my order (FREE shipping by the way on everything!) and expect it to come in a couple days according to the site. After the confirmation of sale is where it gets good. 30 minutes pass and I get a call from the company saying they can deliver today, the same day, in the late afternoon. OK. One hour later I get another call that they can deliver right now. Yes please. Approximately three hours after I ordered many, many boxes, they arrived in perfect shape. Having no idea this company was in Brooklyn, I guess I should consider myself lucky. The customer service was fantastic and the boxes have been working just fine. If you want quick, efficient service and if you want to get your supplies to pack and move in an instant, go to suppliesformoving.com.* ________________________ * If all of the bottoms of the boxes break while moving, damaging all of my kids' toys and my valuable possessions, I reserve the right to come back and be extremely agitated.

Now in 2026, I sought him out again and was happy to see his firm has grown significantly since my first experience six years ago. The pandemic years really did warp time! I'm happy to report the firm remains just as committed to a superior moving experience. Jacob walked me through every scenario and potential challenge for our upcoming move and provided an excellent price. Moving in NYC is rarely stress-free, even with meticulous planning, but I'm feeling confident. The move is coming up soon--I will update this review then, but fingers crossed for another smooth experience! Update from move day (UES to UES) : we had to reschedule our original move date due to unforeseen circumstances. I reached out to Up and Go on the morning of the move and Luka got back to me at 6 AM. I was so relieved he gave me a new date and time (and charged me a reasonable reschedule fee) and the crew showed up on the new date and time and were exceptional. Shout out to sr. The crates stack up very neatly, unlike cardboard boxes, and are much easier for the movers to move. The drop-off and pick-up were punctual and flexible. This was the single most horrible business I've ever dealt with. We called to get a quote and was…read morequoted $300 for the first 3 hours and $100 each additional hour. We explained where we was moving from and to and the amount of items we had. The company told us all we needed was 2 movers. Everything sounded professional and great until the day of the move. We expressed a time of 10am because of alternate side street parking. The movers (who were contracted by BEM, Admiral Van Lines of Brooklyn and Bayonne, NJ) showed up at 9am and complained about the alternate side parking rules. As soon as the first mover (the ring leader) walked into the apartment it was an issue. He stated that our move was not a 2 person move and also that it was $300 for 2 hours and $100 each additional hour ALONG with a host of charges that was not explained to us by BEM. After going back and forth on the phone with Nadia and in person with the mover, we were told that we'd pay what we was quoted by Nadia, the mover started moving items (at 9:25am). Immediately they started being EXTREMELY rough with our property, throwing stuff around and THEN refused to pick up certain items (two book totes that myself picked up ALONE). Then all of a sudden they had no room in their truck (which was BIG) for all of our items, so I walked out to the truck and seen that there was roughly 1/3 of the truck filled with items that was NOT ours! Well there goes your space. OH and I forgot to mention, a 3rd mover magically appeared which we did not agree to. FURTHERMORE, the lead mover tried to hustle me out of my Dewalt Drill because his ceased working citing that we were getting a discount and that I should give it to him FOR that discount. UNREAL!!!! Now we get to the new apartment, he throws a fit because of the floor we were on, WHICH WAS NOTED BY US TO NADIA, so there should not have been ANY surprise. Their rough moving ways continued in the unloading. After unloading, the ring leader then DEMANDED a tip! I was appalled by all of this, then some manager (whos name we did not ever get) called us and basically told us to pay whatever....ABSOLUTELY NOT, after several attempts we got a hold of Nadia again. Now the move completed at 12:42pm, that's 3 hours and 17 minutes of moving, we was charges $435 which again did not match our quote because the mover wrote he finished at 1PM for which he did not. I was STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY. I don't know how they got good reviews up to this point! (Photos below of the truck, including a photo of the items that was IN the truck already before loading OUR stuff that caused items to be left behind in the old apartment that we had to END UP getting ourselves) STAY FAR AWAY! DON'T DO IT!
