About four weeks ago on a Saturday a guy from Safe House Exteriors knocked on my door and inquired about my roof. I have always been extremely skeptical and nothing changed from the point when i answered my door. He told me and my wife that they specialize in wood shake roofs and recently that their had been a hail storm in our area. He asked to get up on the roof and I at first told him no that folks had already been on it... but he persisted that it looked damaged and that he would show us pictures of the damage if there was any. To make a long story short, we filed a claim with our insurance (state farm) and they got the roof approved and represented us the entire time. The roof was just built two days ago and I have to say that I gave them a really hard time, they did a lot to go out of their way to show us that they were legitimate and even showed us some jobs that were done around us. I told the owner that I would be a good reference for him after it was done and if I was happy and to say the least they did everything they said they would do and more. I again was very skeptical because of all the roofing companies out there but Safe House is a local company that will go out of their way to make you happy. I just wanted to say thank you to Chris and Robert for helping me believe that not all door to door salesmen are crooks. I wasn't so sure about the whole thing since I had many roofers over the years knock on my door. Robert seemed like he really wanted to help get me a new roof. Well they did everything that they promised and by taking off the Wood shake and putting new and improved Shingle it actually lowered my insurance as well. We had some severe damage to our house a few months ago and we hired Safe House to fix it. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They are very friendly. Plus they did most of the work with my insurance company. They got way more money than the insurance was wanting to pay, and got more fixed on my house than the insurance was going to pay for. These other complaints here don't sound legit. i had a perfect experience with this company and so did my neighbors. Sounds like more customers taking advantage of a small business. Chris and Shane did everything they were suppose too. They accidentally broke a flower pot but they paid me for it right away and sent flowers saying sorry again for the Flower pot. Our home suffered quite severe hail damage from a recent hail storm in the area. We had several companies knock on our door but ultimately went with Safe House due to a referral from a neighbor.
